Hi, I have a website just put up today, all I need is advice, or better still, someone who can write these actionscripts for my site. Basically, I need to put into function, the three grey buttons, Print/ecard/Download on the lower right portion of the panel. Thanks in advance, I'll buy you coffee

Hi,
I am new to actionscript and i could really do with some help
please. I am trying to load external movie clips into two different
containers depending on which button is clicked. Sometimes there
may be two conatiners attached to a buuton click, whilst other
buttons may only need to load one movie clip. Here is the action
script i have been using:

Help with action script please
hay guys, im having trouble with changing my action script to
allow multiple layers of the same thing in order to show a greater
sense of depth than the normal application. im using a flash
toutorial on making a sort of matrix like falling text (

and im not completely understanding what to change in order to
accomplish my goal. i tryed to send them a message using their
contact page, but its broken, forcing me to find a forum. im sure
it has something to do with the third group of code where it
identifies what its using. but whenever i change anything there to
either match the identifiers or movie clip names the action script
crashes when i test the movie. any help is appreciated.
im using flash cs3 and made sure to create it all in action
script 2.0

I'm a beginner with flash. I created a flash file on my own.
I also created a flash file using a slideshow program. Generally I
like this program. I can insert them into my html with no problem.
I want to load the slideshow.swf file into an empty movie
clip in the flash file I created called products.swf. It works fine
using
loadMovie("slideshow.swf", call_mb_slideshow); (where
call_mb_slideshow is a empty movieclip.)
as long as the all the files are in the same folder. But, I
need the products.swf file with the empty movieclip to be in the
parent folder AND I need the slideshow.swf and the slideshow.xml
file to be in a child folder call musicbox_slideshow. When I change
the code to this:
loadMovie("musicbox_slideshow/slideshow.swf",
call_mb_slideshow);
It loads the slideshow.swf file into the movieclip fine, BUT
it doesn't know where to find the slideshow.xml file that loads the
pictures into the slideshow. It looks for it in the parent folder,
not the child folder.
How do I write the script in products.swf so that it knows
where the slideshow.xml file is? I cannot change the slideshow.swf
file code in any way. I need to do it from products.swf.I can use this code from html. I'm able to say where the swf
and xml file are. I just don't know how to do this using action
script.

I have been developing a site and I am having issues with
something that is probably very simple. I have created several
movieclips that expand and contract as you roll over them. I wanted
to make a function/method so that when the user clicks, it takes
them to another scene in this movie. Here is the action script I am
using:

Unfortunately, this is not working. I thought that perhaps
the on(release) method wouldn't work on these movie clips based on
the action script I was already using to expand/contract the boxes,
but the following code works just fine:

I'm stumped. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to what I
should do? Here is the web address of the page I'm working on, it

Help with action script to load image
I have a Fla file that is works to slide open doors from
button hit and open sliding doors, but I cannot get an image to
load and display when the door begins to open, can some please
help. I can send th fla file for viewing.I did modify the script. My images were in Adobe RGB (1998) and I modified the script to match them from that to the costco printer one. The images were changed as by looking at the screen, by printing to costco, and looking at the new profile assigned. But they didn't look the same on the screen or printed as those from either Preview or ColorSyncUtility.
I finally wrote a 'shortcut' in iKey to just change all the open images in ColorSync Utility.
Note: Graphic Converter might work. It does change the image on the screen but I haven't printed it. The screen does not look the same as ColorSyncUtility, It does not give you the choice of intent either. -

Need help with a script applied by GPO
Hello,
I need to automate WebFeed insertion for Remote App Users at user logon.
RDS 2012 R2 in place. Remote Apps are provided to W7 clients.
Currently, WebFeed link must be inserted manually in each user's Control Panel\RemoteApp and Desktop Connections. There
is no straight forward way from Microsoft.
But there is a script and instruction I found on web...
I followed the instruction... Created GPO. GPO applies to user but nothing happens.
Can somebody check the script and the instruction that I could wrongly applied.
In instruction there is no word about changing something in the script but only wcx file that the script should
use.
The script is below and here is my .wcx file:

connection appears for 10 seconds on the task bar and disappears.
Looks like it's trying...
Check please if the script really should not be touched and provide some troubleshooting
steps.

Need help with Java Script to perform a calculation in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 form
I have a form (test) that I am creating in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.
I need help creating custom Java Script so I can get the desired answer.
1) There are several questions in each group that require a numerical answer between 0-4
2) There is a total field set up to sum the answers from all above questions
3) The final "score" takes the answer from Step 2 above and divides by the total possible answer
Any help on what Java Script I need to complete this would be greatly appreciated!

~ChadUmmm. Do you think that's a lot of money or something? Think in the range of 40-60 per hour. And if you're talking about warcraft I don't think they java hooks to make bots. I think you need to figure out what your problem is first and maybe learn to code them yourself.

Need help with actions and droplets
I've created an action, but it won't OPEN a file, I have to open the file manually, then start the action. I need this action to work in a droplet for over 300 images, so it would REALLY be nice if I could automate the entire process. My action is:
OPEN - 324 PSD files
CROP - to specific demensions, resolution
EXPORT - Save for web as a jpeg
CLOSE - close this file and loop to the next

action for all 324 images one by one. Surprisingly, it didn't take that

Little bit of help with the duplication process needed

I trying to duplicate a database from one server to a remote server. They are both running windows server 2003 (my first problem) , the primary server is running oracle 11gR1 and the (hopefully) receiving server is running 11gR2(is that going to be a problem?) and I'm a little stuck on some parts of the process.

I changed the local domain to host for business reasons
The next step was to create a initialization parameter file which I am guessing is a pfile and hopefully not a spfile. It then says to only enter one param db_name and the conversion params if the filesystem is diffrent. Problem is I don't know what to do with this file, if I am suppose to switch the second database to this file then surly I would need some more params? Anyway thats the first of many questions.
When I try to run through the rman commands it describes it also trips up:

The other database is up and connectable via sqldevloper so I'm guessing it was my configuration of listener and tnsnames
Ok to reiterate my questions are:
1) what needs to be in the pfile I create for the database thats going to receive the backup and what do I do with that file when I have made it?
2) I am pretty sure my listener and tsunamis config is completely wrong so can I have some pointers on fixing that?
3) Was the reason I could not connect to the receiving database my tns and listener config or is it something else?
Quite a few other questions but untill I know some more about the above I doubt I will be able to ask properly.
Also if this helps the book I am using is Expert Oracle Database 11g Administration and the page is 835(the method that begins on that page) and I am willing to write out the whole method if you need more details.
Oh and if you havent figured it out I am very new to this so if some of this sounds very wrong or just stupid just say what I need to change and I will get right on it.

So I am not quite sure what it wants. I read somewhere about a password file but I don't understand how it will help, also most things I have looked at wernt clear on how to do it. I took a stab anyway:

Was run on the original database host.
File was then copied to "F:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\database" on the receiving database's host it was then renamed to PWDcgard.ora as there was file there already with that name.
It did not help(same error).
The book I am using mentions the 'PASSWORD FILE' param to be used with the duplicate command but I cant find a example on how to use it so any help with that would be great.

I'm trying to write a report script with a slight calculation and would really appreciate some help.
Ideally I want to create a report where I only get the Account and Value. I select all my members but I need a calculation on the Entity dimension. Here's what i am trying to achieve:
(All selected members for all Entities + All selected members for all Entities in group RIA-IFRS REPORTING ADJS. ) Yes I'm duplicating the members of group RI-IFRS REPORTING ADJS.
So account 100 for all Entities = 50
account 100 for all Entities in RI-IFRS REPORTING ADJS. = 25
I want to display account 100 grouped as 75 without showing a line for each entity.
