Help with blackberry 8120

Hi, I dont know why but I dont get a option to set up my email account with an existing one, the only option that shows is to set up the enterprise activation; also (while connected in wifi) I downloaded the facebook app, the balckberry app store and the didnt work. And in windows live for blackberry it stays connecting and it doesnt connects. Also I cant use gps. If someone can help me I would appreciate greatly.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account? You must, to get the personal email setup icon, as well as for other application you mentioned to work.

    Why did you Change your Username or email and password , are you having any issue with it ? Did you upadate your email in BlackBerry ID website ?
    If you still remember your old BlackBerry ID and password then try this Knowledge Base to Change or Update your BlackBerry ID username :
    KB28060 : How to change or update a BlackBerry ID username on the BlackBerry ID website
    Try it and let us know if you recieve the same error or any error message.

  • I need help with BlackBerry 8820's bluetooth issue

    Hi!
    Please accept my appology of my poor English.
    My 8820 has a bluetooth issue with Bluedio E9+ headset. It must be note that the headset works well with another phone (not BlackBerry). My BlackBerry can't actively connects to bluetooth headset by the method 'Menu' key > 'Connect' option, but still able to receives connection request from the headset and pairs with the headset when i choose Yes. At this point I can use bluetooth function for data transfering, Voice Dialing and music playback (i.e. mp3 files). But each time I try a mp4 file with default video player in Media folder, its audio will never work with the bluetooth function, and the phone's speakers is automatically enabled. I try the menu when the video was playing, but there are only Activate Handset and Active Speakerphone options. Then I was converted the file with BlackBerry Video Converter Pro; I remove and reinsert the battery; I wipe the phone and install new ROM,... But none of them work.
    Please help!

  • AIM with BlackBerry 8120 is glitchy

    My boyfriend has a Blackberry 8120. He downloaded the AIM client so that he could talk to me through my regular AOL Instant Messenger on my laptop. Not sure what's going on with his phone, but when he IMs my computer, I get all of his messages but he only gets some of mine. I'm not sure if its a signal problem. One night, I could not send him ANY messages. Other nights he will not get any messages from me for a while but then he will get a whole pile of them later, long after anything has been said. We think it might be the signal and that we need to find him an antenna booster, but we're not sure.
    It was raining pretty heavily here last night but he got a few of my messages. The night that he didn't recieve any at all, it was a clear as a bell. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

    From the horror stories I've heard with BB this will be my last one as soon as my contract ends. Mine hasn't turned itself off in the middle of a conversation yet- just if I press it gently in the middle or jar it and sometimes for no reason whatsoever but hearing some of the other problems this is minor! My only concern is if I should fall and its turned itself off and can't get it to turn back on without plugging it in to a mains or car and could be where I'm unable to. Very disappointed.

  • Please help with Blackberry Pearl 8120

    I can't seem to get this phone to sync with my macbook. I have Mac OS X 10.5.1 and I just purchased my phone from t-mobile. I downloaded the Pocketmac and the driver update. I installed both according to the directions on another post (installing both and then restarting), but the syncing is still failing. What should I do? TIA for any help ya'll can give me. 
    I forgot to mention that each time I try to sync, I get an error message at the end that says "skipping."

     Ahhh!!! Now it's saying that my brand new media card has errors on it and to use a "disk error checking utility on a computer" to correct them. I don't even know what that means, but how can my card have errors??? I've only taken 2 pictures and not downloaded anything but this software!!!!!

    I went from the BB Pearl the iPhone.  I am using the Pearl again and am having the same issues I've always had with PocketMac.  It shows errors when trying to change settings and won't activate the sync button.  Then, it just syncs on its own and wipes my iCal and Address Book clean.  I've had to restore from Time Machine twice this week.  I am back to using Missing Sync.  Too bad they can't get this software to work consistently.

  • URGENT HELP WITH BLACKBERRY ID!

    I have a persistent problem with my BlackBerry ID. When I registered I stupidly entered my email address without the number in it, so it was incorrect. Unfortunately, this is the only email address the phone recognizes, so when I type in my actual registered BlackBerry ID and password, it tells me to 'Enter the user name associated with this smartphone.' When I do that, it tells me (correctly) that that user name does not exist.
    So, how do I get my phone to recognize my registered user name? I can successfully log in to everything BlackBerry on my computer with it, but not my phone.

    So i bought 2 blackberrys Curve's from ebay, cant seem too get them working on internet, bbm etc, been told i need a blackberry internet service, problem is i'm on a three contract simcard and dont seem too know if its possible and how, and if i do get the blackberry internet service, is that all i will need or will i encounter more problems with buying from ebay?

    Sign in to the BlackBerry Protect application using a different BlackBerry ID
    1. In the BlackBerry® Protect application on your BlackBerrydevice, press the Menu key > Options.
    2. In the BlackBerry ID section, click Sign Out.
    3. Click Sign Out again.
    4. Type the login information for the BlackBerry® ID that you want to use to sign in to BlackBerry Protect.
    5. Click Sign In.
    Switch devices using BlackBerry Protect
    To perform this task, BlackBerry® Protect must be installed on your current BlackBerry device.
    You can use BlackBerry Protect to move supported data from your current device to a new device.
    1. On your current device, back up your data.
    2. If necessary, on your new device, install BlackBerry Protect.
    3. Complete the setup process.
    4. Click Switch Device or manually start the restore process. Select your old device as the device that you want to restore data from.
    Delete a device from your BlackBerry Protect account
    1. Log in to the BlackBerry® Protect web site.
    2. On the left side of the web page, click Your Devices.
    3. If you want to delete all of yourBlackBerry device's backup data from BlackBerry Protect, clear the Keep Backups check box beside the
    device that you want to delete.
    4. Beside the device that you want to delete, click Remove.
    5. Click OK.

  • Help with Blackberry Link

    Hello - I just upgraded to the Q10 from the Bold 9000, and I am having problems getting the BlackBerry Link to work properly.  I successfully downloaded the application (Version 1.1.1 build 13) to my MacBook, but it does not recognize my Q10 when I use the USB cable to plug into the Mac - the tab for it never appears at the bottom of the screen. It only shows up if I select "Show Disconnected Devices".  It advises me to reset the Q10 to the factory settings, but I will lose all of the vacation photos and other data that I have added to the device since I bought it.
    So, in a nutshell, I can't back up my data because the BlackBerry Link won't work properly, and if I reset the phone I lose it all.  BlackBerry Protect no longer backs up my data for me.  I could e-mail all of my photos to myself, but that seems to be a tedious last resort.  Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help!

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with your device connecting to BlackBerry Link.
    Disconnect your device from your Mac and restart your Mac.
    On your device, go to Settings>Storage and Access and ensure Access to Storage shows USB Connection as Connect to Mac. Keep scrolling to the bottom and ensure USB Mass Storage is Off.
    Launch BlackBerry Link then connect your device. Does it now detect in Link? Does the lightening bolt appear to indicate your device is charging?

    hi,
    could someone help me with the blackberry log ins.
    I had registered all my details with the app world, and i was able to download apps for a while but now i am not able to access apps to download because my log ins are now invalid i have been told, i have tried to reset my password and it told me to enter my security question answer and i have tried to enter it but it will not refresh to let me answer the question.  Could someone please help me around the situation.  thanks in advance. 

    Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
    Now, try your BlackBerryID again.

  • Need Some Help With Blackberry 8520

    Hi,
    I bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 today and I'm still learning some of its features. However I noticed something amiss with my BB. It seems that the Q and A keys were switched, as in when I press Q it types off as A, same goes with the letter A, which types the letter Q when pressed. Does anyone knows anything on troubleshooting this matter? I'm quite concerned about BB knockoffs and since this is my first BB phone, I don't want to feel disappointed while using it. Thanks.

    Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    If the behavior persists, I suggest taking it back to your place of purchase...with a brand new BB, there is no need to be having to troubleshoot issues...they should replace it for you.

  • Help with Blackberry I.D issues

    Hey, I forgot my password for my BB I.D account and when it asks me my security question I type in my answer and it's not accepting it so I can't change my password, How do I sort my I.D issues and just reset the whole thing?!

    for the both the password and secret question, make certain you have any uppercase character correct.
    You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
    Your choices are:
    --Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
    --Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

  • Help with Blackberry ID on Curve 9320 please???

    I am writing this on behalf of my husband , who also has a BB 9320. He has swopped over his sim card to a T-Mobile sim, and we are on the last attempt to enter his Blackberry ID correctly. We have checked his Blackberry ID online, and all the details are correct, and we cannot understand why he is having this problem. We have also used the 'forgot password' link and created a new password through the e-mail, and we still cannot log in? How long should we wait before we try the last attempt? What if the last attempt is also incorrect, what will happen to the phone and data, and what do we do then?? Your help would be very much appreciated

  • NEED HELP WITH BLACKBERRY Urgent!! Please

    Hey guys well when I plugged in my blackberry into my desktop manager it told me to update the device software and I did and it started installing it. But then towards the end its just stopped all of a sudden and said fatal error and my phone was left like this.  I didn't touch it all while it was installing it please help!!

    Wow -- I've never seen that screen. Not at all sure what it even means. But, here's a process that I once found for recovering a bricked device...I've never had to use it, so I can't vouch for it's correctness...but at this point, what have you got to lose?
