Help with deleting an element

I'm a new user to Edge, but I have searched all the layers in my document and can't find the text box that's in question. I need to delete it, but I can't locate it.
Anyone have this issue or any suggestions to find it?

I can't select it. It's like it's not there. I tried a 'select all' and it doesn't show up.
Almost seems like it's a bug. I've tried closing and restarting and it still shows up.

Need help with Adobe Premiere Elements 2

I can drag a large high rez jpeg into timeline. Then when I click to playback....it gets more pixelated. That's a bad beginning. Then, when I go to export it, I've tried several extensions. All look bad during playback on YouTube. This should be pretty simple. High quality jpeg, but is fuzzy in movie. What's going wrong?

I put a PSD right beside a JPEG in the timeline. I rendered it (which I
didn't know to do because the instructions don't even mention it. The
instructions are terrible. Seems it leaves out a lot of info.)
So, then I click PLAY on my monitor. I see no difference between the PSD
and the JPEG yet. So, if I want to put this on YouTube, what's the best way
exactly, without gettting too technical? It looks like I have the choice
between Exporting in Mpeg or Quicktime or Windows Media. I think youtube
likes wmv.

Do not know the particulars of PrE 2, but in later versions, you can
Rt-click on the Program Monitor, and choose Magnification = 100%, rather
than Fit. You might have to resize your Program Monitor, but check at 100%.

Also remember a few points:

1.) You are looking at a DVD-quality image now, and that was designed
with low-rez CRT TV's in mind, and NOT hi-rez computer monitors. DVD vs
hi-rez sources and displays is probably less than what VHS vs DVD was, not
that long ago.
2.) You are looking at an emulation, a preview
3.) Your images have already been compressed to JPEG once, loosing
quality. That is why I always work in PSD, especially if there has already
been one JPEG compression, whether in camera, or in the image processing
stage. I keep JPEG either out of my workflow, or as limited, as is
possible. Some do not see the quality loss with JPEG compression, but I do,
and if I can create images that are as good as it gets, I know that my
clients will be happy.

Help with deleting junk email

Can anyone please help with a problem I'm having with icloud email. I have a number (not all) of messages in junk mail and no matter what I do I can't seem to delete them. I delete them, they are gone, but when I come back they are back again but any other messages I might have deleted at the same time are deleted.

Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Mail then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync your Mail.

Help with Network UI Element

My application has a need for the Network UI Element. We've been able to get the element initialized however I don't know how to access the element.
For example, I assigned an action to the NodeSelected, but when I select a node, the method is not called.
Also, once the user changes the layout, how do I get the results so I can write them back to the xml file?
Any help woule be appreciated. A tutorial link for the Network element would be ideal.

I've made some progress with this (it's back in scope) however now I am having a problem that with the Network element on the screen, my page "freezes" on reload.
My setup is like this:
wdContext
--> DataSourceNode (1:1)
--> DataSource (type Resource)
The DataSource node has a supply function named supplyDataSource. In this function I connect to the xml document and create the resource from the input stream. This works fine, the chart is displayed.
However now when I click on a button (which displays a popup window for search) the chart updates, but my window never opens, I just get the "loading" animated icon, but no window.
Any ideas? If there is additional information needed, please let me know.

Help with Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0

I recently began fooling around with Premiere elements and I had a couple of questions about it: First, if you could please watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/user/iTerabithia#p/search/6/01qfQSyq1WI In the almost beginning it shows Lucy hug Edmund and then a shot of Lucy crying fades into it and then out again. Do you know how to do that with Adobe Premiere Elements? And also, how is that color achieved from the very beginning of the video? And is there any way to do audio effects? If you could please answer these questions I would appreciate it ever so much!

What does that little "scene" look like to you? I'm thinking a Video Clip on a higher Video Track, and maybe with less that 100% Opacity. Guess that if it covers the whole Frame, it would not be a PiP, officially, but would involve the same principles.

Need Help With Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0

I have and use Adobe Acrobat and three versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements (2, 5 and 7). I use version 2 frequently as I'm more familiar with it and it's simpler to use for what I need to do. All was fine until recently when my computer was installed with Windows 8. Now I can't save photo edits from Version 2.0...... it aborts each time I try. Why is that? It is costing me a lot of wasted time. The other versions that i have don't do that. Need help. Thanks. Stu Snyder.

The first thing i would try is deleting the Photoshop Elements 2.0 Prefs folder as explained in the post #2 linked to below:

Help with deleting itunes and stuff

Hi all, thanks in advance for any help. I am a real novice with all this stuff.
I have inherited my husband's old MacBookPro. May I ask for some advice?
How can I delete his iTunes and iCal so I can use these programs with my info? He will not sync with this computer again, but I don't want to do anything which will mess up his desktop or laptop. At present, the MacBook is set up to sync data wirelessly with the desktop - how can I stop this too?

I would consider erasing the HDD and reinstalling the the OS. This would result in a MBP with no user data on it (no iTunes and iCal information) and there would be no sync to any other computer. In other words, the MBP would be in an 'as new' condition in terms of user data.
If you have a 2010 MBP or earlier you will need to use the original installation disks. If you have a newer model, you will have to use the Recover Disk Assistant v1.0 (for Lion or Mountain Lion). In both instances you can use Disk Utility to erase the HDD.

I have asked this question now three times with no answer. The troubleshooting website goes round in circles so there is only a forum to get help? I am so frustrated with the whole thing and if I dont get this osrted then I have no option but to send it back.

Help with Adobe Premiere Elements 11 Editor - Won't work after Maverick upgrade

I bought Adobe Elements 11 in March of 2013. It was working fine until upgrading to Maverick. It will not open now. Adobe will not help without a serial number. Apple does not provide serial numbers when you buy directly from the App Store. After 3 hours of trying to unintall and reinstall, no luck. Apple said to call Adobe back, Adobe says to call Apple. Finally just asked Apple to refund me the $85.00. They said said they ‘can’t’ since I’ve ‘had it for so long’ (7 months ?? ). They said the problem was my fault because I didn’t check and make sure Adobe Elements was compatible with Maverick before installing Maverick. I should mention that it states (on the App Store page) that Adobe Elements 11 is "compatible with OS X 10.7.5 or later”.   Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if any kind of resolution was achieved?   Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help With Adobe Photoshop Elements Download and Installation

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements yesterday and was sent the download link. I tried to download the product but one of the 2 files I need would not download and after a few attempts it blocked my access saying there were too many download attempts. Please help.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

Help with deleting files

OK, so all of a sudden today my Mac has been acting weird with one thing. I am a photographer and have been using the standard viewing to edit down my folders. For examples, I have a folder with Baby A's photos. I click on the folder and in the list view format, use the "eye" preview button and the arrow keys to preview the photos before editing them in Photoshop. As I look at them, I will on occasion delete some of the photos using the Command+Delete keys on the keyboard. In the past, these photos would disappear, I'd hear the crunching paper sound, and they would go to the trash bin. Then, the next photo in the list would pop up on the screen. Today, out of nowhere, it started jumping back to the top and showing an image of the folder itself after I deleted a photo. So, I had to scroll back down within the folder to find my place again. Everytime I delete a photo, this keeps happening. I'm at my wits end. I don't know why it started doing that! And, I really would love to know how to fix it. Any suggestions or help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. This jumping back to the top is making a simple thing a 10-year process.

I can't tell if you have done any troubleshooting. The first thing to try is restartng the computer, as long as you're at that do a SMC Reset. If that doesn't help restart in Safe Mode, it's possible one or more caches have become corrupt.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Help with delete duplicate locked files

I'm kinda new at this so forgive me if I'm a bonehead.
I made a contribute site, then wanted to disable check in
check out. All the files have duplicate locked files remaining on
server and they take eons to ftp. Is there an easy way to delete
them all? I delete on server and they mysteriously are still there
the next time I reupload files...I first thought it was a DWMX ftp
problem, but same deal with GoLive.

I have very limited experience with Automator, but my guess is it's not up to the task. I'm trying to do something similar in iTunes but the actions under Finder don't seem to work properly. ( If you select 'Find Finder Items' and set the Whose field to Extension and Is Equal To and use the parameter 'mp3' it seems to work as expected. If you set the Whose field to Name and Ends with it only returns directories.) I'm thinking I need to look into actual scripting. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Help with deleting multiplied contact.

Had to get a replacement phone....when I sync'd my Back up Assistant it multiplied 1 contact over a 1000 times. From BuA I have deleted them and tried to resync however they have stayed on my phone and keep showing back up in my BuA on my computer. Please help I do not want to have to delete each one separately from my phone.

DMnc, I can certainly assist with your contact issue so that you won't need to manually delete each contact. I would suggest deleting all the contacts on your Blackberry first. To do this you would need to connect your Blackberry to your computer and clear the Contact/Address Book database from the phone. These steps will vary depending on whether you have Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0, 6.0 or a Mac, so here is a link to Blackberry with the instructions.
Another option is to complete reset the device by performing a security wipe. I don't see which Blackberry you have, but for devices with 5.0 software, you would go to Options>Security Options>General Settings>press Menu>Wipe Handheld. For devices with 6.0 software go to Options>Security>Security Wipe>Check emails, contacts, etc. to reset the device.
Verify the duplicates are all gone from the website. Delete from trash. Afterwards, resync device with Backup Assistant so that it will restore only the contacts on the website.
