Help with elements 5.0..Cannot get into Edit after 6 years of success. what now?

Help..

I am using windows vista on a dell laptop, same as I have been using for
several years. When I open the photo and click on EDIT for either quick fix
or full edit, I get the following message:
Unable to connect to editor application
then
Attempt to access invalid address.

Restart your machine(would close any extra processes) and verify if you are able to launch Editor.
If still not successful, you will have to delete the content in the folder “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache” (there are some hidden files also in this folder also,make sure you delete all of them)
Deleting this folder might need you to license your other Adobe products again.

According to the AT&T Wireless web site, you can manage your iPad data plan either from the iPad, or by using a web browser:
From the website
Log in to your account at att.com/iPadlanding using the email address and password you used during activation.
Your account information will display. Select the desired account change option then tap Next.
Read the Terms of Service, and then tap Accept.
Review the Payment Summary to ensure the details are correct. Use the Back button if changes are required, otherwise tap Submit.
Read the Confirmation message then tap OK.

TS3991 I have restored my mini i pad after it would not let me get in and I cannot get to the settings or general settings at all I cannot get into my i pad at all what do I need to do?

I was in the general settings on my ipad a couple of days ago and when I signed out and wanted to come back on i could not get into my pad at all I have changed the id and password three times and i still cannot get into the pad. Is the general setting keeping me out? I put the passcode in and I still cannot gaet in, is the passcode my password if so why can I not get in?

I use the Dogsters/Catsters to be involve with other people and cannot get into the groups, sites or anything! Help!

It seems that the web site Dogsters/Catsters is not cooperating with me using Firefox to read and answer any of the e-mails I get from this company. I love it and wish to contact my furiends in this group. However, I can only read my e-mails and not able to respond/reply back. I can't even get into any of the sub-groups that my furs belong to. Any help would be appreciate it to combat the problem.

Thankfully the machine has come back.
I tried a couple of cmos/battery clears, with no success.
Then I took out one stick of memory, cleared the cmos and it all worked on rebooting!
I put back the memory slug, cleared cmos again and it continues to work!!
What a relief - thanks xmad.

Cannot get into settings on ipad

I currently have an iphone 6 and an ipad 2 both running ios 8.0.2. I am having trouble with my ipad, i cannot get into the settings for icloud, messages, facetime, email, and a few other things. I have tried turning handoff off on my iphone. I do have a family icloud account set up. I have not had time to read up on the new settings of ios 8 so i am wondering if this is just how icloud is now? I let my kids play with the ipad a lot and i would rather them not be able to read/write to my contacts with my text, answer my calls etc.

Your Apple id password is not necessarily the same as your log-in password.
The former is what you use to log-in to Apple services and sites. The latter is what you use to login to your computer. That does not change when you change your Apple ID password. Try the original computer login password.

This happened because if Mail.app was moved from /Applications or placed in a sub-folder there, the update (Security Update 2012-004) couldn't find it and fails for writing new files to Mail. This update updates Mail 4.5 to 4.6, consequently the message that 4.5 is incompatible, since it's looking at the now "old" 4.5 version. See the thread linked below for a fix and some other possible workarounds.

Basically, make sure Mail.app is in the Applications folder inside the Macintosh HD folder, and sitting by itself not in an enclosing folder. Then get the update from Apple Downloads and run that again.

Same thing happened with my iPhone 4S - no one is any help. Thanks Apple for such a crappy update! I've called Apple, they say the SIM card needs replacing, I go to my service provider they tell me nothing wrong with the SIM card - provider tells me I now need a new phone. Sheesh! Did you haveany problem with updating to iOS 5? It soundsl like the update did not correctly restore from the backup that iTunes mnakes as the fisr step of the update.
