Help with email filters for an "alias email address"... Please!!

Hello All...
This is my first post to the BB Community! I've always been able to find the help I needed without needing to post!!!
But now I have a problem that I could not find the answer to, and I am hoping that someone will be able to guide me.
Here's the situation:
I have an email address for my business ([email protected]) set up on my Tour. It is a standard POP account.
I do work for a client, who has given me an alias email address ([email protected]) that forwards to the above address.
I want to continue to have th emails come to my Outlook account on my PC (or I can check it through webmail if needed), but I do not want these emails to come through my Blackberry.
I am thinking that I need to set up a filter of some sort to keep these specific emails from clogging up my Blackberry.
I tried setting up a filter which I called Client.
In the filter from line, I added [email protected])
And in the Action settings, I checked the button for "Do not forward message to the device"
I then sent an email to [email protected] I would think that it would not get through, but I got the email anyway.
I figure that I must be doing something wrong. Of course, there is always the remote possibility that what I am trying to do is NOT possible!
Can anyone help me?

OK, I understand your overall need.
IF your "[email protected]" address forward automatically to "[email protected]", then you have to understand a filter set in the BlackBerry BIS email setup does NOT see the email as coming from the @client.com address. So it will not filter it.
What I suggest is this... forget about the filters and such. Go create yourself some new gmail account for the "[email protected]" to forward to. It will be much simpler. Much much.

I have had a iTunes Account now for the last 4 years maybe more and I have a iTunes account that I used my email address which I have had for over 10 years, I I done the iPhone update for a iPhone 4 and it was telling me my password was incorrect it was also saying the same for my ipad4. I have tried and tried to recover my password from hotmail with NO luck what so ever the form comes back saying not enough info when I have filled in every question. I am going to have to make a new email address but can I chance my email and keep my same iTunes account or do I also need to make a new iTunes account? Thanks

I would not create a new Apple ID as this will cause lots of confusion when you try to update the apps you've already purchased. Go to this Apple support page for Managing Your Apple ID and sign in, then search for how to change your email address. If you can't get it done contact Apple Support.

when i set up Apple ID, I added a second email address as a back up but its not the one i use daily. So all the emails im getting from you at the moment are going to the second email and not the first email address. How do i reset it so that i get the emails from you in the email address i do use daily?

This issue is often caused by an incorrect password. Be sure you have entered the correct password. If you have enabled two-step verification through your e-mail service provider, please contact them to see if you need a special password for your iOS device.
If not, try deleting the account and then add it back with the new password.

Help with updating plugin for raws on a mac please

Hi,
I've got a mac on os 10.4.11 with 2 GB of memory.
I had Elements 4.0 on it, but had to upgrade to the current release to get compatibility with my new camera and it's raw format.
I installed Elements 8.0, and it worked fine but needed a plugin upgrade to see my new cameras raws.
I then followed the installation instructions (except the part about the Camera Raw.8bi file which doesn't seem to exist on my system...??)
to go to the plugin v 6.1 (also tried v6.2) and when I do, and I relaunch Elements, it doesn't recognize the file, and if I click Photoshop Elements > About Plugin > Camera Raw ... I get the error "Could not complete the Camera Raw command because there is not enough memory (RAM)" -- this makes no sense to me given that I have 2 GB on the machine, and am not running any other software. Here are the steps I took to do the update of the plugin:
Download it
Stop elements
drill the folder where the orig plugin is (in the plugins\file formats directory)
Replace the original plugin with the new one
Start Elements
run the cameraprofiles.mpkg file
Stop Elements
Start Elements
click Photoshop Elements > About Plugin > Camera Raw ...
<Error as stated above>
so, what the heck am I missing?

Okay, something is wrong with your procedure.
You need to go here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=40&platform=Macintosh
and download the plug-in. (I'd stick to 6.1 for right now, since several people are reporting problems wit 6.2, if your camera works with 6.1).
Put the .plugin file in the specified location (per the readme file), but you must remove any older versions first, no matter what the instructions may say.
To update bridge, go to Help>Updates in bridge, but you can't update bridge past ACR 5.7.

Help with assigning package for new program!Urgent please!

We upgraded to ECC6.0 and I am trying to create a new function group. I go to se80 --> create new function group --> Enter some text for the function group and then it prompts me to assign a package. I select a package (used to be development class in 4.6C) and when I click on save I get the following error:
"PACKAGE IN NON-ORIGINAL SYSTEM ONLY MODIFIABLE WITH ORGANIZER TOOLS". Could anyone please tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

You need to either reset the rescue email address's password(check the site's help for instructions) or ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I tried this and it worked:
1) Visit My Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com/.
2) Click the Manage your account link on the right sideof the page.
3) Enter the account name (Apple ID) and the password you used when creating the account.
4) Change the email address associated with your account.
5) Send new verification email
I also got this from apple CS for other things to try:

4) Delete any duplicate email addresses associated withyour account.

Entering Names with Email Addresses

Hi All.
New user here.
Would someone mind giving me some tips on entering names with email addresses into a list of magazines in Numbers?
Is there a way to de-activate the clickable link for email addresses temporarily?
Is there a way to enter these from an external document such as Pages in a single cell? Right now I do this and (the paragarph return?) causes them to scatter across a number of cells in a way I don't understand.
Is there a way to have the addresses get listed with name and then the email address on one line and then the next name and address on the next line etc? Right now if I hit return it throws me down to the next cell.
Finally, is there a way to get the column headings to show up near the column alphabet at the top when i am scrolled down to a point where I can't see the name for the column? Right now if I am scrolled down it is hard to know which column to put information into.
Thanks for any help as I get it moving.

Yes, in the Hyperlink Inspector.

Double-click in the cell before pasting.

Instead of hitting Return, hit Tab.
Finally, is there a way to get the column headings to show up near the column alphabet at the top when i am scrolled down to a point where I can't see the name for the column? Right now if I am scrolled down it is hard to know which column to put information into.
In Sheet View mode, select "Freeze Header Rows" in the Header control on the Format Bar.

Help with Simple Applescript for Midipipe

Hey all, I'm in desperate need of help with some Applescript for use in a program called Midipipe:

I simply require an Applescript for Midipipe that filters out all OFF notes except for the most recently pressed key, or most recently pressed ON note. So for example, when multiple keys have been pressed, only the most recently pressed key will send an OFF note. I hope that is clear enough, i've had some major issues trying to get this work and my last hope is to hit the forums and find some help .. I've posted on some of the audio forums and i'm hoping someone here knows how to code this.

I try to help, but you'll need to apply your brain cells to get it working with what I've already explained (three times with what I offer below). Try something like the following (I am renaming your buttons to ch1,ch2,ch3,ch4,ch5,ch6 so that the same functions can be shared by all buttons...

For this to work, your buttons need to have the same artwork in the hit frame as they do in the up frame.

As long as you can't get a hold of the device, you can't do anything more than talking to your daughter about it.
Erasing the device could also be an option to keep her from using apps you don't want her to have on her device.

What happens when you try to change the email address ? You should be able to edit your primary email address (as long as it's not an @icloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com address) by logging into the account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or by logging into on http://appleid.apple.com

SMTP stands for Simple Mail Protocol and is basically what handles your outbound emails.

The problem doesn't lie with your feed, although it does contain an error - you have given a non-existent sub-category. You need to stick to the categories and sub-categories listed here:

Subscribing to your feed from the iTunes Store page work as such, but the episodes throw up an error message. The problem lies with your episode media files: you are trying to stream them. Pasting the URL into a browser produces a download (where it should play the file) of a small file which does not play and in fact is a text file containing (in the case of ep.2) this:

You must provide a direct link to the actual mp3 file. Streaming won't work. The test is that if you paste the URL of the media file (as given in the feed) into the address bar of a browser it should play the file.
