Help with FCPX on Yosemite update

I've recently updated to Yosemite and since doing so, I had to upgrade to FCPX 10.1.3. I updated to FCPX and now every time I go to open it, it tells me I need "4GB of memory is required to run this version of Final Cut Pro" and when it begins to load, it freezes and then crashes (quits unexpectedly). I deleted unnecessary files and apps that I don't use and I'm still getting the same message/problems when opening the app. Can someone please help me?! Mind you I have a newly installed 1TB drive.
Can anyone out there assist me please?!

For video shooters, the D5200 can record Full HD 1920 x 1080 movies at up to 60i or 50i (when set to NTSC and PAL respectively), although this uses a central crop of the sensor area. More conventional 30p, 25p and 24p modes use the full width of the sensor. In manual mode you have the option to take limited control of both shutter speed and ISO, but not aperture.
In your screen capture(s) above: From Quicktime X - it indicates that the original footage is 50 fps yet your import setting is for 25 i. Your import settings should be the same format as your native video. I know that it has become fashionable to shoot video at 24, 25 30 p but I suggest that you try to shoot a test at 60i and import that as 60 i. Indeed, compare all the shooting modes: pan & tilt profusely - following say cars as they drive by. But you really should import at the same settings as the video was shot.
Also, when you import make sure that optimized is checked. After importing - wait for the video to be encoded to Pro Res 422 before you do anyhting else. Open the background processes window and watch & wait.
You can always deinterlace when you export and make it progessive.
Have you set up your camera as NTSC or Pal?

OK found projects, didnt realize they got moved to the events library from down by the timeline. Still waiting to see if Compressor 4.1 works with FCPX 10.1 update. Looks promising though. My computer automatically updated Compressor to 4.1 without me knowing (obviously when I opened it I noticed) but when it was failing I was still trying to compress with FCP 10.0 and Compressor 4.1 so maybe that was the issue.

With the new Yosemite update (10.10.3) I can no longer transfer my photographs into Adobe Photoshop Elements by the previously expedient 'click and drag' method. Neither am I able to import or export them. Does anyone have suggestion on moving them?

Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.

Aperture no longer works with new osx Yosemite update

I installed new OSX Yosemite update and now it says that my Aperture App. will not work with this version. What can be done other than updating Aperture?

It's a five step process
Call Apple Support for Software > Aperture
Answer questions at recorded message (have Aperture serial number ready – it is on a sticker on the back of the 'Installing Your Software' booklet) and you will be transferred to a real person.
Inform them of the issue and they will tell you that this is a known issue with certain users and they will request a 'Redemption Code' for the App Store for a standalone download of Aperture. The issue will be rectified in the next Yosemite release.
Wait for email from Support (they have to contact Support in California for redemption code, so depending on your time zone, there may be some delay).
Visit App Store, enter redemption code, and you are good to go.

Help with C6-00 photo update

I need help with updating the items in the photo gallery. Anytime I transfer pictures from PC to the phone using either a USB connection or bluetooth, the items just stay in the memory card. What I mean is that they can only be acessed through file manager and not possible to veiw them using the Photo application. It is as if the Photo application does not automatically update itself. I have tried moving the items from one folder to another, even using the images folder itself. Please, can you tell me what to do about it?
Usually, the same thing happens with Videos too.

The apps wont recognise the photos or videos if file extension is missing.Go to file manager and locate your file.Check whether it contains file extension.If not rename the file with . Jpg extension.If you dont know the type of file, select options >details(it should be something like that) to know it.After renaming all your files in file manager close file manager and open yout photo app.It should show all your photos.Same goes for videos which you will need to rename to .mp4 or .3gp as the case may be.

Problem with OS X Yosemite - 'Update required' when opening

Hi everyone,
I updated my 2012 Macbook Pro with OS X Yosemite and it seems the installation didn't fully complete. When I restart my computer I always fall on this grey screen, and instead of my name and picture there is a '?' with 'Mise à jour nécessaire' (Update required) where my name should be.
When I enter my password it's like if my Mac ended the download, and it finally opens normally. But this happens every time, like if there was a problem with this step and it wasn't correctly installed.
What can I do to fix my problem so my Mac opens normally without 'ending' the installation all the time?

You may start in Recovery mode and see if you can check &/or repair
the computer hard disk drive; or perhaps re-install the failed OS X?

There also is a method to access OS X Utilities in Recovery to see if
the hard disk drive and other items are OK. Be careful since these can
also totally erase all content from a hard disk drive if Disk Utility is used
incorrectly at that point.

Help with Acer Aspire 4339 update. PLEASE HELP.

Okay, I'm already sick and tired of Acer. Since my warrenty is expired, I had to deal with terrible scam site called answersby.com that Acer RECOMMENDED. I cannot believe that they would actually share this TERRIBLE website to their customers. First of all, the live chat service only directed me to the same technician that would'nt reply to ANYTHING that I said. Not only that, the website itself is buggy and whenever when you try to send feedback, you'd have to click it like 6 times in order for it to send. Ha, and get this! There's many many people telling how that website scams people entirely. Anyways, diving into the CORE of my situation is that recently, I tried playing Sims 3, on this terrible laptop, and my drivers are outdated. (Horrah!) So I was like, okay, let's update. Come to find out, the updated drivers are 2011 which I don't even know why. Yes, yes I know. Acer Aspire 4339, so so old. But in order to actually download most things, you aren't able to update the Intel Graphics since it's customized by Acer. (Great!) *sarcasm* Also, whenever I try to update my chipset with the lovely Intel Update utility, I'm slapped in the face with errors. Went to Acer and my product, I can't download the chipset? I don't know. I'm confused on why there's OUTDATED software for Acer Aspire 4339. Not only that, I need an UPDATED version of Intel HD Graphics. The latest driver is literally from 2011. Come on. Why would the video card even be customized by Acer???? Ugh, if ANYONE can find me an UPDATE for Intel HD Graphics on the Intel website thank you, you've saved me from ripping my hair out. Since there isn't any updates, I won't be able to run MODERN gaming software on this computer. My Computer specs: Intel Celeron(R) CPU P4600Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (Pretty sure that's all you need.) My GPU is integrated, too. Since it's a laptop. I need to bypass this OUTDATED driver and get one at LEAST in 2012 and later. I tried so hard to avoid this forum, but Acer pushed me too far and now I'm here. So please, save my hair before I rip it out from the frustration that lovely Acer has given me.

bypassing custom Intel drivers is easy. check on programs/features if any Intel VGA drivers is listed and uninstall, if not...go to device manager, choose display adapters, right click your Intel VGA and choose to uninstall, deleting software drivers too. at next reboot, probably windows will be low res but you will be able to install the latest Intel original VGA drivers.

I need help with my Nokia 5800 update to v40.0.005

Hey im having trouble with updating my Nokia 5800 to v40.0.005.
The version on my phone at the moment is v21.0.025 and when i try to update it on my phone it says no update available.
I tried downloading Nokia Update Software and getting it from there but the program wouldnt work either.
Is there any other way i can get the v40.0.005 were it should work? or even getting the knetic scrolling and applications without needing to get v40.0.005?

Under your battery, there's a product code on a sticker (X: 0586707). Go here: http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/can-i-update and type in your productcode to see if there should be an update for your productcode. If there's not, you could take your phone to a Nokia Carepoint and ask if they could do it - no promises. Or else you have to wait untill your productcode gets it.

Help with iTunes/iPhone/Software update

Hi all, I have a MacBook Pro and am running OS X version 10.5.8 on it. However, when I plug in my iPhone 4GS in it now, it says that it can't be used unless I have the new version of iTunes (currently showing version of iTunes 10.6.3)--- however, when I check for software updates, nothing is coming up and it says everything is up to date. If I directly try to download the newest version of iTunes, it says my OS isn't up to date... This is something new that has occurred within the last couple of months. I didn't have a problem with it before. Help please!!!

If you need the current iTunes 10.7, you'll need to upgrade to OS X 10.6. You can buy it online from the Apple store or call them, which in the US is 800-MY-APPLE.

PL/SQL: SQMy problem is that the table being updated has a composite primary key so I have two conditions in my where clause. This the the first time I'm even attempting the Bulk Collect/ForAll Update and it seems like it would be straight forward if I was only dealing with a single-column primary key. Can anyone please help advise me as to what I'm missing here or how I can accomplish this?

You cannot reference a column inside a record when doin a for all. You need to refer as a whole collection . So you will need two collections.

Help with drop create and update table

I have joined 5 tables and selected some columns ,then I need to update some columns in that. After updating I need to create a report with the new column values.
To do this my method is to create temp table with the select statement then update the temp table , use this temp table for the report and then drop the temp table.
Is there anyother way to do this ??
Can I create a cursor and update the cursor column ??
Does dynamic sql always be created as procedure ??

For your requirement -
1. you need a view on which you will create a drop down list UI element and a table view element
2. you will need to create a contoller class - this will be used to handle the event that will be triggered when user selects an entry from drop down list
3. you will need a model class in which you will write the business logic to retrieve employees of selected department.
Pls search this forum or blogs for - data binding with BSPs, Table View. Pls read these concepts and try to develop your requirement. You can come back to this forum if you face any issues during development.

Help with flash player since updated to Mac OS X Lion

When is adobe going to fix the update for the new Mac OS X Lion? I have updated my Mac with the new software now my flash player will not work properly. I have uninstalled then reinstalled several times to no avail. Could someone help me with this issue???

Somebody please help me!! I have a big problem now. It's very embarrassing me.
When i buyed the Lion after i saw the flash player not good, but i dont care, im waited the updates, maybe it will be good. But it wasnt.
I reinstalled my computer, after i put the new flash player (Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.102.62) after it wasnt good... i put on the beta version the 11.2 rc, and not good. I have safari and google chrome and firefox, and nothing good. And i forgot... we have 3 computers at home, and the another two is working good with windows... and everything is fast.
Some pages not loading, some pages is frozed, and lot of times i cant serching on the youtube. The FB games is not good too. And everything very slow.
I have a macbook air Late 2010 with Lion (10.7.3) and with safari 5.1.3 and chrome 17.0.963.56 and firefox 10.0.2.
How many months have to me to wait?

Can anyone please help? I have an unbranded x10 in the UK. PC companion constantly tells me my phone software is up to date (with android 2.1) so I cannot upgrade to 2.3. I've tried all the tips on the SE support page like deleting the database content and looking for the setting to update the phone next time it's connected which doesn't exist (very informative SE!). I'm not keen on this independent software installation through the rapidshare download, it seems full of glitches looking at the forums. http://www.sonyericsson.com/update/?lc=en&cc=gb&pid=xperiax10 This link clearly tells us the update is available through PC companion, no joy for me though. Any help is welcome.
