Help with Help. Launches Wrong Browser

When I search Illustrator's help, it launches my Opera browser. I've only installed Opera for testing web designs. I don't like it. It's not my default browser. How can I make Illustrator launch my default browser, or how can I specify a browser for Illustrator's help system?

Thanks for the help. I decided to give it another shot, and bought a new card. Popped the new one in and it worked the first time. Didn't even need to disable the HD Audio option in the BIOS.Guess I got a dud the first time. Now I have to return the old card.

E61 Open Link from Mail launches wrong browser

Hi,
I've just noticed that, when following a web link from within an email received on my POP3 account, the phone lauches the basic web browser (i.e. the 'Services' application) rather than the more advanced 'Web' application - surely the page should be opened in the new clever browser with mini-map etc.??
This may be just another T-Mobile only issue - my details below:

Seems ridiculous really - there must be a way to configure which application is launched, just its not accessible to us plebs!
I'm really starting to wish I'd bought a windows based phone, while the E61 is very good in many ways, I'm getting fed up with all th faults I keep coming across... especially when some of these are so basic.
Given we've now had >4 years of Series 60 based phones, should we still be seeing these sillies?

Can't launch default browser to view help

when I go to the help section it states there was an error launching the default browser and than I may need to reinstall the application and the help component.....how do I do this and what caused this to start happening....thanks

See if you can launch the browser from your file browser (explorer on windows and finder on mac)
If you can not, then that is an OS issue and someone here may help, but would need to know what OS you are using since the directions are different for each OS.
If it does launch , let us know and someone will help with the directions as long as you provide what OS you have and what version of photoshop you have. Again the directions differ.

I have a similar problem. When I try to reach Help, I get error message HTTP 403, which says "This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.

It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
<description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
<language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it.

HELP NEEDED! Browser wont load!

Hello, I have the Blackberry Curve 3G. I am on contract and never had any problem with my internet or browser.
I have had this problem for about a week now, everytime I use my track pad to click on the 'browser' icon nothing comes up, I have tryed to hold down the track pad so that 'launch' would come up, but still my browser will not come up. I rang up where I bought the blackberry from and they told me to do a system update, which I tryed but apparently I have the new software that is avaliable? What else could I do?

Please Open browser and click on Menu (Blackberry Sign) > Option > There will be a option to clear cache and cookies, please perfrom a cache and cookies clear. After cache and ookies clear pull out battery, while device is on and re-insert battery after a min.
This may help you to come out of the issue.

How to select multiple clips? "Help" is wrong.

Hi. I've got iMovie 11 v 9.0.9. "Help" is wrong in this version - it says, to select multiple clips in the Events browser, hold down the command key while selecting - the normal thing, right? - but it does nothing. The first selection disappears, just as it would if you didn't hold the Command key down. I've tried every combination of keys and click I can think of, and still no success. Usually, when I can't get something to work and get frustrated with it, I find out it's my own fault and invariably what I've done is overthink the thing...with Mac it's always KISS.
But I'm stuck. Could someone please tell me how to do this?

No. In finder hold down the option key and in the GO menu select Library. In the window that appears Open the Preferences folder then scroll down and find com.apple.iMovie.plist and com.apple.iMovie LSSharedFileList.plist and drag them to the trash. Do this with iMovie closed. Thenreboot and relaunch iMovie.

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem. You may have installed a variant of the "VSearch" ad-injection malware.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

in the same folder.
If you find files with names that fit the above description, post what you have for "something."

Help - How a browser can read jar files?

I have read in other forums that a browser can read jar files.
Can someone point me to documentation explaining how this is done?

To explain my question more.
I will be launching the browser from an application. Basically, I have help files (index, help html files) contained within a jar file.
I am looking for a way to launch the browser and extract specific files within the jar file to display within the browser. For example, to display the index and the specific file containing the help text. Currently, my application launches Java Help. I want to change this to my application launching a browser and providing the same capabilities the Java Help provided such as searchin, indexing, context-sensitive, etc. I am trying to find the way to do this.

RWD Add-on for Help Launch pad

I am in the process of configuring RWD uperform 4.4. For enabling the help launch pad, is it required to implement both the RWD add-on and abap transport in the sap system.
I believe in the previous versions, only abap transport was provided.
Kindly some one let me know the exact purpose of the RWD add-on and abap transport for help launch pad.

I am new to SPP Help Launchpad, I have downloaded the installation files, what i need is file for system ECC 6.0 direct install for 4.4, i have installed SPP 4.3 server before but have not yet install the help launchpad, now the SPP 4.3 is upgraded to SPP 4.3. And the help launchpad is new to install. What i get from the download package, it contains:

I saw previously posts to transport help launchpad with SAINT, but it needs CAR/SAR files, so how can i transport the .pat file?

After updating Firefox Browser a week ago a "Note Taking" program I had installed with a launch in the Tools tab disappeared ... 6 tabs of notes are gone now?

I had a nifty note taking program with a launch line in the Tools Tab of the browser ... I offered six separate pages to take notes ... I cannot remember the name of the program and when I updated the Mozilla Firefox Browser to the latest version about a week ago the line to launch that Note program in the Tools Tab was gone ... I cannot find my notes on those six pages and they were voluminous ... any ideas where the program went?

You are using Firefox 23.0, which is an unstable version of Firefox not yet ready for release (the latest stable version of Firefox is Firefox 22.0)
Quite possibly, the application you were using is not compatible with such a high version of Firefox.
You might want to take a look here (http://mzl.la/MOvsag) to see if downgrading Firefox can be a solution for you. If you were last using Firefox 22.0, you can go over to the Mozilla website (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) and get Firefox from there.

F4 help popup to browse file path in web dynpro

I need F4 help popup to browse file path in Web dynpro (for example C:\dir\file.xls). Popup should come like FM "F4_FILENAME" in report programming.
Am i need to create another window or is there any other standard functionality there for this help.

File upload UI element has showing File browse pop up. But i want to download file from an internal table to Excel. User need to give file path so that the directory selection needs to be done. And also the user will select the directory and type the file name (File so far not exist) for download.
If i add UI element 'File Download' I am getting a link and i cant browse directory and give file.
Give your suggesions.
