i keep having a screen pop up fopr icloud email asking me for a password. I dont know what this is. help

Had asked for help with iCloud 3 weeks ago. Cloud has my old email and I no longer know the password, wont't let me sign in with new email. When I talked with apple cust service they assured me that everything associated with apple would change over. NO it did not! Cannot find how to get cloud to change this. My Iphone says I have not backed up in 9 weeks because of iCloud. Can anyone help me or give me some advise please

Same thing happened to me. My son's iPod touch suddenly started indicating that my "username or PW had changed" or was "incorrect" so I paid Apple $30 to find out that all that was required was updating the software by plugging his iPod into my computer & syncing with iTunes. My problem was then solved.

Basically husband upgraded from 4s to 5c. Gave dad 4s. I tried to set his dad up with icloud and apple id but didn't realise husbands old sim card was in 4s. Now neither phone works and husband very annoyed his apple id and password don't work anymore. Please help!!!

So husband got new phone. Was all set up and up and running when we left the shop
Gave dad the old phone. It was locked to Vodafone so we had to ask them to unlock. He then got his three sim cut down to fit.
Weeks after husband had his 5c we went to dads to set his 4s up. I upgraded it to latest software iOS something. Anyway didn't realise it was husbands old sim still in phone.
After upgrade it asked me to set up apple account (I think) could have been icloud. Anyway I started setting it up with dads email and password choice. Husband then saw message on his 5c saying his dads email was being added to something on his phone.
At this point I left alone but now when husband tries to use his apple id for apps etc it says invalid user id or password. It's as though the 2 have got mixed up. Bit it won't let him reset his password?
Does this make sense?

hi thanks for you help. I had a long day of issues with my icloud configuration on my Mac Mail. Suddenly (with no changes on my part) there were issues with emails going out. I followed the protocols below. Is there an issue with my AUTHENTICATION choice? I tried external tps but that didn't work, but Apple Token is what is working). I have the box checked for keep sent emails. I can't figure this out and it's so frustrating. I have a new Air Laptop.

Those look like the correct settings. You might want to post this over in the OS X Lion forum to see if they have any suggestions.

Help with admi password

I have a mac so x 10.4.11. was given to me by a c-worker. they left the administrate password on the computer and forgot the password. I am unable to update or add my printer to the computer. How can I get the password off. Help!!!

Depending on the vintage, you might call Apple with the Serial# handy & see if they have replacement disks, but that depends on which OS it originally came with, if it came with 10.3 then that wouldn't help with 10.4.
You really need an Install disk to be legal & to do repairs on the HD, etc, so I'd ask if they have it.
But, there's another way in the meantime...

There are numerous options built into Windows to help you get out of this predicament:
Reboot the machine with your Windows Repair CD, then use System Restore to set Windows back by a few days (works only if you changed the password recently).
Log on under your spare admin account, then reset the password to your usual account (works only if you set up a spare admin account).
Log on as Administrator in Safe Mode, then reset the password to your usual account (the password is usually blank).
Insert your USB flash disk with the password keyfile (works only if you took the time to create such a keyfile).
Use the password hint (works only if you created a hint and if it is good enough to let you guess the password)
Check your paper records (works only if you jotted down the password somewhere)
Ask your friendly computer dealer to reset the password for you.

Help with a password field

I have a Flash site I'm working on that has a private login
area. The login is not meant to be high security, we just want to
limit access to current and potential clients who we give a
password to.

What I need help with is the client login window. The login
field is in a pop-up when you mouse over the word "client login."
The temp password is forumdemo. When you use the button after
typing in the password, everything is fine. But when you use the
enter key, it initiates the "incorrect' action every time, even if
the password is correct.
This is driving me crazy because when I originally built the
login box as an entirely separate movie, the enter key worked fine.
If you want to see it working, just click on the "client login"
words rather than using the pop-up box.
The code is the same in both. The only difference is that the
password field, button and other elements are now a Movie Clip.
Anybody have any thoughts? The scripts are below; developed
with the help of people on this forum (thanks!).

Yosemite and login with iCloud password

If I change my password on https://appleid.apple.com when it should be usable for login on iMac/MacBook? All my systems see that password got changed and System Preferences->iCloud requests new password after while. However after two days I still have to login with my OLD iCloud password for all my Macs.

I finally logged out from iCloud totally. Login password had to be changed to local one. Then I re-enabled once again iCloud services from System Preferences and as final phase configured login password to use iCloud one. (<-I think I did system restart before configuring password) Now this is working with current password on iCloud. (Hopefully works also in case of changing iCloud password dunno yet)

Help with Keychain password issue

Need help with publishing website using iWeb. Everytime I try to publish website it asks for keychain password. When I use my login password it does not work. I have checked keychain access and do not know what I need to do to fix this or even know what password it is asking for. Please help.

Help with iCloud - calendars and contacts!!!!

I just got icloud with osx lion and i am completely lost. I have iphone and just got ios5. Before when i synced to itunes, i could choose certain calendars and contact groups to sync (shared computer) anyone know how to do the same on icloud.
any help with ical on osx lion? I want the same calendar on my mac so I can publish but also share it on icloud. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I need help with iCloud and restoring

I have an app and in order to transfer the account of the app, it says: "If you still have your old device, please sync/back up your account to either iTunes or iCloud. Next, sync your new device with either iTunes or iCloud and restore data."
I have no idea what to do with iCloud. I have my old iPhone 5 and I would like to transfer my account to my iPhone 5c. I don't have an iTunes setup for either of these devices. I just recently backed up all my pictures and videos and data into iCloud on my iPhone 5c. I have two different iCloud accounts, one for my iPhone 5 and one for my iPhone 5c. If I were to sync my old device and restore the data onto my new device, will it restore ALL the data? Will it delete any data from my old device or my new device? Can i just restore the data for one app? If possible, how?
The thing is that I dont need or want any data from my old device or than the account/data from that one app onto my new iPhone 5c.
Also, my iPhone 5c has the latest iOS. But my iPhone 5 still doesn't even have iOS 7, will this affect anything? Should I update it to iOS 7.0.3?

Help with iCloud on my Phone!

I have a iphone 5. It contunually prompts me for my icloud password, to the extent that I lose all functionality of the phone. I can enter the correct password and it immediately prompts me for the password over and over. The phone is currently in airplane mode and not connected to wifi. The window appears so often that I can not navigate to anything else on the phone before the window reappears. Please advise. Is there a way to get my phone to stop prompting me for me icloud password? Thanks

Try resetting your phone:
Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
