Help with in app purchases

I am trying to buy gems on clash of clans, and its telling me that i have to answer security questions to confirm that i can use my phone to make purchases. I dont know the answers to the questions because we made this account so long ago. I have tried sending the correct answers to my email adress, but im not recieving anything.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

    Previously I was able to buy rubies on a game I'm playing but now it won't let me. It keeps saying not connected to itunes. Can anyone help? I've deleted and re uploaded said game and I definately am connected to itunes.  One other question when I get update alert, I try to update but it doesn't do anything!!!

    I'm having the exact same problem.  Unfortunately, I can't tell you what is causing it, but I can tell you what it isn't(at least in my case).  I made an in app purchase yesterday using a MasterCard I had linked to my account with no problems.  This morning, my card from my new bank came in so I switched it over(American Express), and all of a sudden can't make IAP.  I thought maybe there was an issue with the card, so I tried it out on a .99 app, and it worked no problem.  So I got with tech support and they had me reset all of my phone settings -_-, then my network settings.  No change.  I tried restarting the phone obviously, closing the App and trying again, no luck.  They suggested I call my bank and make sure the address I had on file for the card matched what I supplied for my Apple account, and that didn't fix it either.  I tried IAP on two different apps and it was the same, could not connect to App Store error.  I'm still trying to figure it out, and I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but I hope I at least save you some trouble of trying these things.  If I find anything out I'll let you know.

    Please note that there is a 15 minute window after initially entering in your password, where the password is not requested again. Once this time has passed, you will be requested for your password, and also to confirm the purchase by tapping the Buy button.
    To prevent any further in-app purchases from being made unintentionally, please set the in-app restriction on your device(s) as soon as possible. You can set the in-app restriction on an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad by following these steps;
    1) Click on the "Settings" Application
    2) Now from the list of options click on "General"
    3) Scroll down and click on "Restrictions"
    4) Under the heading "Allowed Content" be sure that "In-App Purchases" is "OFF."
    After reviewing the circumstances of your case, we determined that issuing you a refund for your unintentional purchase of "1000 Gold" is an appropriate exception to the App Store Terms and Conditions, which state that all sales are final.     Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here, we won't know what the problem is.
    What happens when you try to buy them, does the 'buy' button not work, do you get any error messages ... ?

  • Switching DPS publication account with In-App Purchases

    We have this scenario and wanted to know the Adobe recommendations.
    One customer has a multfolio app on the App Store with in-app purchases enabled. The issues had been selling for quite some months. For some reason, he needs to change the DPS publication account he uses to publish the folios.  If he copy the current folios to the new account and publish them with the same Product ID and updates the secret shared key, without touching anything else  within the In-App Purchases in iTunes Connect, will that Restore the purchases when final users updates the app and want to download their already purchased items?
    I appreciate yout thoughts about this issue

    There are two different Android platforms--Amazon and Google. DPS apps support in-app purchases for individual folios in both platforms, but DPS apps support subscriptions only on Amazon. Support for Google Play subscriptions should be available later this year if all goes according to plan.

  • Adobe Encore with single app purchase in Creative Cloud?

    Hi Adobe Community.
    I Am very much interessed in the Adobe Encore app from the Creative Suite. I understand Adobe Encore works with Premiere Pro, so i was wondering if i bought  the premiere pro app only, as a single purchase, would i then be able to use the Encore app? I know you could buy the whole package of adobe Creative cloud app's, and then get access to Creative Suite app's as well, but is it a possibility to get the Encore app with an single app purchase? Because buying the whole package of Creative Cloud is a bit too expensive for me unfortunately.

    I am trying to make a purchase within an app game, and everytime I try to make it go through, the purchase cannot be completed. I checked for internet connection, it is connected. I turned it off and cam back but the purchase will not go through. I keep getting a notice that I have to ask itunes support. Is there any suggestions on getting my purchase through?

    Yes. You have to do as instructed. This message actually means what it is saying. You need to contact iTunes Store support for help. Something red flagged your iTunes account or something weird is going on and only iTunes Store support personnel can help with this now.

    Help!  I purchased two different apps for iPad but all I have is the "free" version.  I believe both were in app purchases.  The "report a problem" link in the purchase e-mail fails with a "can't open iTunes" error.  Has anyone else experienced this?

    Are you trying the 'report a problem' from your iPad or computer ? If your iPad then try your computer instead, or try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history on your computer : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours). This page, whilst not about how to report a problem, shows how to view your purchase history, and includes a screenshot which has the 'report a problem' button on.
    Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.
