I have the below query.
SELECT DISTINCT ACCOUNT FROM ADJ  WHERE ADJ_TRANS_CODE=-2401 AND REQUEST_STATUS=1 AND ROWNUM <5
order by account_no
I want to insert the account number into  t_table.TRACKING_ID,TRACKING_ID_SERV  columns are composite primary key in the table t_table.
insert INTO  t_table(ACCOUNT_NO,INTERIM_BILL_DATE,INCLUDE_ADJ,PAYMENT_DUE_DATE,TRACKING_ID,TRACKING_ID_SERV )
select distinct account,trunc(sysdate),1,trunc(sysdate),0,0 from adj  WHERE ADJ_TRANS_CODE=-2401 and request_status=1
The above insert will obviously throw an error.How can i get around this.the insert will run on daily basis

    Without seeing what you tried it is hard to say what you did wrong, but this is how it would work
    SQL> create table t ( n number );
    Table created.
    SQL> insert into t
      2  with test_data as
      3    (select 1 x from dual union all
      4     select 2 x from dual union all
      5     select 3 x from dual union all
      6     select 4 x from dual)
      7  select x from test_data;

  • Need Help with Inserting Timeline Markers

    Friends,
    I have not use my premiere element 3.2 since 2008 and forgot some of the procedures. now, I need help with the insertion of Timeline Markers. I did what the Help Page showed me. But the markers were not effective in the resulting DVD, or, even when viewing the video in the editing page as if thye were not there! Here is what I did:.
    1)  Click the Timeline button.
    2)  Click in an empty space in a video or audio track in the Timeline to make the Timeline active and deselect any clips.
    3)  Move the current-time indicator in the Timeline to the frame where I need the marker.
    4)  Click the Add Marker icon in the Timeline to place the Marker 5 times where I want them.
    5)  Verified that each Timeline Marker is present at the intended place.
    6)  Burned DVD
    7)  Can NOT jump to any of the intended Marker in the Resulting DVD during playback.
    The question is "What did I do wrong or didn't do?" It seems that I did the same before and worked! Please advise!
    Also, what are the significance of the Red line just below the Timeline and the yellow bars inside the video and audio frames. But after preforming Timeline/Render Work Area, they were all gone? What purposes do they serve and what is the significance of Rendering? Thank you for your help!
    I repeat the process and did a Rendering before making the DVD also. It did not help!
    Andy Lim

    Steve,
    Long time no talk! You used to help me out many times when the PE-1 through PE-3 came out. I was HOPING you would still be around and you are! You came through again this time! Many thanks to you.
    I use the Add DVD Scene button to insert the Markers. They are Green. Made a DVD and the markers work OK although ythey are "effective" during play back using the editing window.
    While that problem was solved, will you come back and answer the other two questions concerning Rendering and the Red/Yellow lines? I would appreciate it very much!

  • Help with inserting values -- ORA-00984 error

    Hello!
    This time we have a problem with inserting values and we really can't find what's wrong!
    The table was created as such
    CREATE TABLE PASSAGER
    (NO_PERSONNE INTEGER,
    NO_PASSAGER INTEGER NOT NULL,
    NO_PASSEPORT INTEGER NOT NULL,
    NATIONALITE VARCHAR2(30) NOT NULL,

    DATE_EMISSION DATE NOT NULL,
    NO_TEL INTEGER,
    NO_CC INTEGER,
    NO_VENTE INTEGER NOT NULL,
    CONSTRAINT PK_PASSAGER PRIMARY KEY (NO_PERSONNE),
    CONSTRAINT FK_PASSAGER_PERSONNE FOREIGN KEY (NO_PERSONNE) REFERENCES PERSONNE (NO_PERSONNE),
    CONSTRAINT FK_PASSAGER_VENTE FOREIGN KEY (NO_VENTE) REFERENCES VENTE (NO_VENTE));
    We created a sequence..
    CREATE SEQUENCE NOPASS_SEQ
    START WITH 1
    INCREMENT BY 1
    NOCACHE
    NOCYCLE;
    for inserting the values, we did...
    INSERT INTO PASSAGER VALUES (500,NOPASS_SEQ.NEXTVAL, WT456789,'CANADIENNE', 'CANADA', to_date('2007/10/12','YYYY/MM/DD'),5142348756,5157981500126734,1);
    but it won't work, it's our last table and all the other worked perfectly!
    Thanks a ton!

    In your table creation, you got third column as
    NO_PASSEPORT INTEGER NOT NULL,
    where as you are passing varchar values (see bold)
    INSERT INTO PASSAGER VALUES (500,NOPASS_SEQ.NEXTVAL, WT456789,+'CANADIENNE', 'CANADA', to_date('2007/10/12','YYYY/MM/DD'),5142348756,5157981500126734,1);
    Should be like this I suppose
    INSERT INTO PASSAGER VALUES (500,NOPASS_SEQ.NEXTVAL, *456789*,'CANADIENNE', 'CANADA', to_date('2007/10/12','YYYY/MM/DD'),5142348756,5157981500126734,1);

    You're prob saying 'duhhh' in your head right now! but I am used to photoshop and illustrator, I'm finding dreamweaver so complicated!
    You can see what i mean on my about page - www.sarahray.co.uk/about.htm (at the bottom underneath the writing it says AOI logo. Thats what I'm trying to put.)
    Any help MUCH appreciated! xx

    Hi
    The file path is pointing to your hard drive not to the location on your server/site -

  • Need help with inserting 10MB CLOB

    Hi,
    I have an urgent issue and desperately need some help.
    There are several files on a FTP server that I need to insert their contents into a CLOB type column. One of the files has more than 10MB contents. What I've been doing is after connection is made to the FTP server, read in the contents in a file line by line into a String, then execute a SQL INSERT statement to insert a new record into the target table.
    +//.... make connection, read in files and parse into a String variable called fileContents+
    String psInsert = "Insert into FileTrack (Name, Contents) values";
    PreparedStatment ps = conn.prepareStatement(psInsert "(?,?)");+
    ps.setString(1, "some name");
    ps.setObject(2, fileContents);
    ps.executeUpdate();
    The above works fine for all other smaller files, except the 10MB one. The error I got was SQLCODE: -302, SQLSTATE: 22001, which is about not enough space issue. So I increased the CLOB column size and made sure it doesn't exceed the initial CLOB size setting and the database has plenty of space for storing this 10MB file. Still, I got the same error.
    Then I tried the following:
    ps.setObject(2, fileContents, java.sql.Types.CLOB);
    Failed with same error...
    Then I tried this:
    FileInputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream(fileContents);
    ps.setAsciiStream(2, inputStream, (int)()fileContents.length()));
    Still failed with the same error....
    Then I changed to ps.setCharStream()... still failed....
    What other options do I have to insert the 10MB contents? Can someone please help?
    Thanks heaps in advance!!

    we're still trying to upload that CLOB. Takes a while over this 2400bps modem ;)

    Seeing Database Changes Made Internally and Externally
    This section discusses the ability of a result set to see the following:
    its own changes (DELETE, UPDATE, or INSERT operations within the result set), referred to as internal changes
    changes made from elsewhere (either from your own transaction outside the result set, or from other committed transactions), referred to as external changes
    Near the end of the section is a summary table.
    Note:
    External changes are referred to as "other's changes" in the Sun Microsystems JDBC 2.0 specification.
    Seeing Internal Changes
    The ability of an updatable result set to see its own changes depends on both the result set type and the kind of change (UPDATE, DELETE, or INSERT). This is discussed at various points throughout the "Updating Result Sets" section beginning on , and is summarized as follows:
    Internal DELETE operations are visible for scrollable result sets (scroll-sensitive or scroll-insensitive), but are not visible for forward-only result sets.
    After you delete a row in a scrollable result set, the preceding row becomes the new current row, and subsequent row numbers are updated accordingly.
    Internal UPDATE operations are always visible, regardless of the result set type (forward-only, scroll-sensitive, or scroll-insensitive).
    Internal INSERT operations are never visible, regardless of the result set type (neither forward-only, scroll-sensitive, nor scroll-insensitive).
    An internal change being "visible" essentially means that a subsequent getXXX() call will see the data changed by a preceding updateXXX() call on the same data item.
    JDBC 2.0 DatabaseMetaData objects include the following methods to verify this. Each takes a result set type as input (ResultSet.TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY, ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE, or ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE).
    boolean ownDeletesAreVisible(int) throws SQLException
    boolean ownUpdatesAreVisible(int) throws SQLException
    boolean ownInsertsAreVisible(int) throws SQLException
    Note:
    When you make an internal change that causes a trigger to execute, the trigger changes are effectively external changes. However, if the trigger affects data in the row you are updating, you will see those changes for any scrollable/updatable result set, because an implicit row refetch occurs after the update.
    Seeing External Changes
    Only a scroll-sensitive result set can see external changes to the underlying database, and it can only see the changes from external UPDATE operations. Changes from external DELETE or INSERT operations are never visible.
    Note:
    Any discussion of seeing changes from outside the enclosing transaction presumes the transaction itself has an isolation level setting that allows the changes to be visible.
    For implementation details of scroll-sensitive result sets, including exactly how and how soon external updates become visible, see "Oracle Implementation of Scroll-Sensitive Result Sets".
    JDBC 2.0 DatabaseMetaData objects include the following methods to verify this. Each takes a result set type as input (ResultSet.TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY, ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE, or ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE).
    boolean othersDeletesAreVisible(int) throws SQLException
    boolean othersUpdatesAreVisible(int) throws SQLException
    boolean othersInsertsAreVisible(int) throws SQLException
    Note:
    Explicit use of the refreshRow() method, described in "Refetching Rows", is distinct from this discussion of visibility. For example, even though external updates are "invisible" to a scroll-insensitive result set, you can explicitly refetch rows in a scroll-insensitive/updatable result set and retrieve external changes that have been made. "Visibility" refers only to the fact that the scroll-insensitive/updatable result set would not see such changes automatically and implicitly.
    Visibility versus Detection of External Changes
    Regarding changes made to the underlying database by external sources, there are two similar but distinct concepts with respect to visibility of the changes from your local result set:
    visibility of changes
    detection of changes
    A change being "visible" means that when you look at a row in the result set, you can see new data values from changes made by external sources to the corresponding row in the database.
    A change being "detected", however, means that the result set is aware that this is a new value since the result set was first populated.
    With Oracle8i release 8.1.6 and higher, even when an Oracle result set sees new data (as with an external UPDATE in a scroll-sensitive result set), it has no awareness that this data has changed since the result set was populated. Such changes are not "detected".
    JDBC 2.0 DatabaseMetaData objects include the following methods to verify this. Each takes a result set type as input (ResultSet.TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY, ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE, or ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE).
    boolean deletesAreDetected(int) throws SQLException
    boolean updatesAreDetected(int) throws SQLException
    boolean insertsAreDetected(int) throws SQLException
    It follows, then, that result set methods specified by JDBC 2.0 to detect changes--rowDeleted(), rowUpdated(), and rowInserted()--will always return false with the 8.1.6 Oracle JDBC drivers. There is no use in calling them.
    Summary of Visibility of Internal and External Changes
    Table 12-1 summarizes the discussion in the preceding sections regarding whether a result set object in the Oracle JDBC implementation can see changes made internally through the result set itself, and changes made externally to the underlying database from elsewhere in your transaction or from other committed transactions.
    Table 12-1 Visibility of Internal and External Changes for Oracle JDBC

    For implementation details of scroll-sensitive result sets, including exactly how and how soon external updates become visible, see "Oracle Implementation of Scroll-Sensitive Result Sets".
    Notes:
    Remember that explicit use of the refreshRow() method, described in "Refetching Rows", is distinct from the concept of "visibility" of external changes. This is discussed in "Seeing External Changes".
    Remember that even when external changes are "visible", as with UPDATE operations underlying a scroll-sensitive result set, they are not "detected". The result set rowDeleted(), rowUpdated(), and rowInserted() methods always return false. This is further discussed in "Visibility versus Detection of External Changes".
    Oracle Implementation of Scroll-Sensitive Result Sets
    The Oracle implementation of scroll-sensitive result sets involves the concept of a window, with a window size that is based on the fetch size. The window size affects how often rows are updated in the result set.
    Once you establish a current row by moving to a specified row (as described in "Positioning in a Scrollable Result Set"), the window consists of the N rows in the result set starting with that row, where N is the fetch size being used by the result set (see "Fetch Size"). Note that there is no current row, and therefore no window, when a result set is first created. The default position is before the first row, which is not a valid current row.
    As you move from row to row, the window remains unchanged as long as the current row stays within that window. However, once you move to a new current row outside the window, you redefine the window to be the N rows starting with the new current row.
    Whenever the window is redefined, the N rows in the database corresponding to the rows in the new window are automatically refetched through an implicit call to the refreshRow() method (described in "Refetching Rows"), thereby updating the data throughout the new window.
    So external updates are not instantaneously visible in a scroll-sensitive result set; they are only visible after the automatic refetches just described.
    For a sample application that demonstrates the functionality of a scroll-sensitive result set, see "Scroll-Sensitive Result Set--ResultSet5.java".
    Note:
    Because this kind of refetching is not a highly efficient or optimized methodology, there are significant performance concerns. Consider carefully before using scroll-sensitive result sets as currently implemented. There is also a significant tradeoff between sensitivity and performance. The most sensitive result set is one with a fetch size of 1, which would result in the new current row being refetched every time you move between rows. However, this would have a significant impact on the performance of your application.
    how can i implement this using

  • Help with inserting records conditionally in another table

    I need some help on this task please. I have a table with some records like so
    Table1
    Column1   Column2   Column3      Colum4
    1                 Name1    Lastname1     1,2
    2                 Name2    Lastname2     3
    3                  Name3    Lastname3     NULL
    4                  Name4    Lastname4     1,3
    So the last column, Column4 has the number of the column that the values got changed. So the values on the first row on the Columns 1 and 2 got changed. So I have to insert those values in another table and the same for the other records.
    Table2
    Column1   Column2    Column3
    1                Name1     NULL
    2                 NULL      Lastname2
    4                 NULL      Lastname4
    Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    3. Set the array variable that is pointing to the old array to be the new array that you just created.Why not attempt to do 1, then 2, then 3? The code you posted in reply #3 was worthless, I hope you can see this: it assigned the value x to every position in the array!And there are curly braces missing!!! :)
    I hate when people omit the braces...lazy bastages.

  • Help with inserting/removing integer from a specific index

    I have an IntList that I am adding methods to and an IntListTest driver that allows me to add those options to test. I am having difficulty adding the two methods:
    public void removeAt() - removes the value at a specified location at given index with consideration of the size of the list when user enters a valid position
    public void insertAt(int index, int newValue) - inserts integer and puts it in the specified index of list however...i also have to take into consideration the size of the list as the user enters a valid position
    I started on the insertAt(int index, int newValue) method:
    // **Inserts an element to the list at a specified position
    public void insertAt(int index, int newValue)
    IntNode newnode = new IntNode(newValue, null);
    for (int index =0; index < count; index++)
    if(list[index] == newValue) //error occurs, brackets pertain to arrays, correct?
    //if list is empty, this will be the only node in it
    if (list == null)
    list = newnode;
    else
    //temp point directed to the last thing on list, but want to be
    //able to insert any where, specified location
    IntNode temp = list;
    while (temp.next != null)
    temp = temp.next;
    //link new node into list and insert
    temp.next = newnode;
    count++;
    }First off, how do I write the method so that the user specifies a value at a given index and is located...From what I understand, this portion of the insertAt method is stating that the temp point will go directly to the last index:
    //temp point directed to the last thing on list, but want to be
    //able to insert any where, specified location
    IntNode temp = list;
    while (temp.next != null)
    temp = temp.next;Here's where I am having complications, because I don't know where to go from here. I want the method to be able to insert at any specified index rather than just the last...I will use the insertAt method as an example for my removeAt method, so hopefully I can get input from anyone willing to help...Thanks - using textpad editor with java 1.5 compiler

    Thanks for the reply - this is an assignment and I'm dealing with linked structures, I apologize for not specifying that. I have to add a total of six methods to the IntList class (e.g...public int length, String toSting, void removeLast, void search(int input), and the two mentioned - void insertAt(int index, int newValue), and void removeAt(int index)). I figured out the first two, but have had no luck with the remaining one. Here is a sample of that code -
    // FILE:  IntList.java
    // Purpose: Defines a class that represents a list of integers
    //Assignment 3 - methods to fill in, declare any variables where necessary
    public class IntList
        private IntNode list;          //first node in list
        private int currentSize;
        public int count;
        String [] elements;
        //  Constructor.  Initially list is empty.
        public IntList()
         list = null;
        //   Adds given integer to list of list.
        public void addToFront(int val)
         list = new IntNode(val,list);
         count++;
        //   Adds given integer to end of list.
        public void addToEnd(int val)
         IntNode newnode = new IntNode(val,null);
         //if list is empty, this will be the only node in it
         if (list == null)
             list = newnode;
         else
              //make temp point to last thing in list
              IntNode temp = list;
              while (temp.next != null)
                  temp = temp.next;
              //link new node into list
              temp.next = newnode;
             count++;
        //   Removes the first node from the list.
        //   If the list is empty, does nothing.
        public void removeFirst()
         if (list != null)
             list = list.next;
             count--;
         // **returns the number of elements in the list
         public int length()
              return count;
        // **returns a String containing the print value of the list.
         public String toString()
         StringBuffer result = new StringBuffer("{ ");
                     for (int i=0; i < currentSize; i++) {
                                 if (i > 0)
                                     result.append(", ");
                         result.append(elements);
         result.append(" }");
              return result.toString();
         // **removes the last element of the list. If the list is empty, does nothing.
         //public void removeLast()
    //Come back to this...
         // **searches all occurrences of a value user enters in the list.
         //public void search(int input)
    //Come back to this...
         // **Inserts an element to the list at a specified position
         public void insertAt(int index, int newValue)
         IntNode newnode = new IntNode(newValue, null);
         for (int index =0; index < count; index++)
              if(list[index] == newValue)     //error occurs, brackets pertain to arrays, correct?
    //if list is empty, this will be the only node in it
         if (list == null)
         list = newnode;
         else
    //temp point directed to the last thing on list, but want to be
    //able to insert any where, specified location
         IntNode temp = list;
              while (temp.next != null)
              temp = temp.next;
    //link new node into list and insert
              temp.next = newnode;
              count++;
         // **Deletes an element from the list at a specified position
         public void removeAt(int index)
    //Come back to this...
    // Prints the list elements from first to last.
    public void print()
         System.out.println("---------------------");
         System.out.print("List elements: ");
         IntNode temp = list;
         while (temp != null)
              System.out.print(temp.val + " ");
              temp = temp.next;
         System.out.println("\n---------------------\n");
    // An inner class that represents a node in the integer list.
    // The public variables are accessed by the IntList class.
    private class IntNode
         public int val; //value stored in node
         public IntNode next; //link to next node in list
    // Constructor; sets up the node given a value and IntNode reference
         public IntNode(int val, IntNode next)
         this.val = val;
         this.next = next;
    But as stated, my problem is merely the portion where the the I make adjustments to the "next values" in the associated nodes...
    //temp point directed to the last thing on list, but want to be
    //able to insert any where, specified location
         IntNode temp = list;
              while (temp.next != null)
                  temp = temp.next;I apologize if I am not answering your question correctly but I'm trying to make sense of all this, but need some suggestions/input/advice...Thx.

  • Help with inserting pages into a PDF form

    Hi everyone,
    I used LiveCycle Designer ES for the first time to make a fillable PDF form.  The form works splendidly, but the users wish to insert PDF pages to the end of the form before submitting (using Acrobat).
    I can't figure out how to allow this to happen.
    I open the form I made in Acrobat 9.0 and the Insert Pages tab is greyed out.
    I went back to LC and set form options to "Allow all changs except extract" and this seems to have done nothing.
    When I look at the security settings in Adobe and click on Permissions Details, I see two different things.  In Docmuent Security, the security method is set as Password Security and if I open Show Details It says changing the Document is allowed.
    But in the Document Restrictions Summary, changing the Document is set at Not allowed.
    Probably a newbie question, but I am stumped.
    Thanks,
    Becky

    Hey there,
    If you've created a dynamic form, then the PDF document is no loger an acroform, it's an XFA form. I might be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that XFA forms can't have their pages extracted or have pages added via Acrobat.
    If that is the case (I'm fairly certain it is) then you have a few options:
    1) Redesign the form in Acrobat, losing the dynamic functionality.
    2) Create the form in Livecycle, and include the hidden subform that is shown on submit or button press (this would require you to know what the users want added, it would also require that the thing they're adding is always the same)
    3) Install a virtual printer, get them to fill out the dynamic form, then 'print' the via the dynamic printer.
    Personally, I'd go with option 3. A virtual printer is a program that prints the current document to a file, instead of an actual printer. 'Cute PDF Writer' is a virtual printer that is able to 'print' any document to a new pdf document. The new form will not be dynamic, and the fields are made read-only (hense why they should fill it out before printing it), but you will be able to insert pages.
    If you would like feel free to send me a message with any questions regarding cutepdf writer.
    - Scott
    P.S. CutePDF Writer also has the advantage of being free, well-supported, and just plain awesome. =P I would suggest getting it, even if you don't need it to resolve this issue. I use it all the time.

  • Help with inserting drop down menu/pricing in Muse site

    I know this is not a feature available directly in Muse, but are there other sites where I could get code to insert? View this website , the box on the right side where you can select from 3 dropdown menus and you get an updated price at the top. I don't care so much about the add to care function, I just want to have the dropdown/pricing.

    The HTML code for a drop-down menu is as follows:
    <select>
       <option>Item 1: $9.95</option>
       <option>Item 2: $19.95</option>
       <option>Item 3: $29.95</option>
    </select>
    You can add this code by clicking Option-> Insert HTML...
    Here is a good tutorial for drop-down menus.

  • Help with inserting counter code

    hi friends, i want to put an invisible counter on my website but i cant seem to do it. i got the counter code from statcounter and i also downloaded a trial version of bbedit. in bbedit when i do a search for the code i have to replace bbedit comes up with nothing on the search, im not html savy in the slightest...can somebody walk me through this step by step.

    If you want to insert the code by hand, just open each page.html file and scroll to the end. You will see a <body><html> tag. Just copy and paste your code before the <body> tag and the save.
    But if you want an easy and automatic way to do this for your pages...just download iComment 3.0. Launch it and paste your StatCounter code in the appropriate window. Then point iComment to your Sites folder and click Go. It will place the StatCounter code on every page in your site.
    If you don't want to do the Haloscan commenting, you can just leave that blank in iComment.

  • Help with inserting SWF file into .html page

    I created a photo gallery in Flash CS5.5, using the advanced photo gallery template. It works fine as a standalone SWF file but it's not displaying properly when I try and insert it into the Gallery page of my website.
    The thumbnails are showing as blank white boxes and the main image holder isn't showing at all, though the controls beneath it are showing. The SWF file and all the images are stored in site/images/gallery/ and my Gallery page is in the root. What's going on here? Can anyone help please?
    Thanks

    If you are storing any of your Flash assets in sub-folders and having problems... it's most likely because of pathing problems. For review:
    Pathing issues
    Almost always when it works on the local machine and not the server, it's a pathing problem.
    You can put your Flash related files in whatever folders you want, they do NOT have to be in the root, they do NOT all have to be in the same folder. But if you have a problem and if sticking them all in the root folder works, then you know that the issue was a pathing problem.
    Just remember that paths used in the .swf become relative to the Web page on which the .swf is placed, NOT it’s physical location.  So for example, if your .swf is in the flash/data folder and you use that .swf on a Web page in the root folder, you are in effect, removing that .swf from flash/data and putting it in root. So if the .swf is loading any related files (xml, images, video, etc), the path used inside the .swf to load the .xml file has to be relative to it's new location in root and then back down into flash/data. This is true even though when testing the .swf by itself, it can be inside flash/data and work just fine, since relative to it's location, the path is just fine, they are in the same folder. But if that same path is used when the .swf is placed on a page two folder levels up, the relative path has changed, the old "same folder" path will not work.
    In fact if you are placing the .swf on a web page in a different folder than the .swf is stored in, and that .swf calls external assets, then direct clicking and opening of the .swf in it’s folder should NOT work! That’s because the paths to the external assets should be relative to the Web page and not the physical location of the .swf.
    So just be sure that you use addresses relative to the final Web page locations (not physical file locations) and you can put the Flash related files in what ever folders you want.
    Best wishes,
    Eye for Video
    www.cidigitalmedia.com
    What it boils down to is that you need to path the Flash assets from the Web page that you place the main .swf on... NOT the physical location of the .swf

    Good day!
    Im kinda frustrated already on how to get my problem solved since i  cannot find a read-me help on the net already. I have attached 2 images,  the first is my sliced image made in Photoshop then exported to  dreamweaver, im trying to insert a flash photo gallery on the blank  space but everytime i try, the layout is destroyed as shown in the 2nd  image. Please please what should i do to get this done? Many many many  thanks in advance!

    Hi
    Using photoshop to create your html code will create nothing but incompatible code and problems such as you are now experiencing.
    The only real and permanent solution is to convert your code to html/css, see -

                                                      //System.out.println();//.size());//tempkey+"\n"+tempvalue);

    you should write a prepared statement like this:
    PreparedStatement updateSales = con.prepareStatement(
    "UPDATE COFFEES SET SALES = ? WHERE COF_NAME LIKE ?");
    where "?" is a placeholder for the values you want to use.
    Then later when you want to actually update your database, first set the placeholders to your values (stored in your array for example) using a statement like this:
    updateSales.setString(2, "Colombian");
    //sets the 2. placeholder in the statement to the value "Colombian"
    after having set all placeholders to a specific value, execute your statement:
    updateSales.executeUpdate();
    your code should like:
    sql = "INSERT into Ben values (?,?,?)";
    PreparedStatement prepStmt = con.prepareStatement(sql);
    prepStmt.setString(1, "hello");
    prepStmt.setString(2, "hi");
    prepStmt.setString(3, "bye");
    prepStmt.executeUpdate();
    prepStmt.close();
