Help with iPhone 3 pic saving question!

I have a seriously old iPhone3 and will be getting a new iPhone5. This may be a dumb questions but will they be able to transfer all of my pictures from the 3 to the 5 with my phone being so old? I don't want to lose 6 years of pictures.
Secondly, what should I use to back up my pictures onto? iCloud or something else?
Please help I'm not super tech savy I guess

Hi, it's not about antenna issue or proximity issue.
Basically my mother fiddled with my iPhone 4 lol!
When she gave it back to me there's a "lock" image beside the battery which I never seen before. WHen I asked her what she did, she said she doesn't know. She's not familiar with iphone
Well my question is, does anybody recognise the "lock" symbol beside the battery? I want to remove it but I don't know how to. I tried looking through the settings but i can't seem to find what is it or where to disable/remove it.

That is orientation lock - stops the screen rotating when you turn phone.
To take it off - double click home scroll to left hand end of icon list and touch the icon that looks like a bigger version of the one on screen.

Need Help with iPhone movies

I downloaded a movie through iTunes last night for use with the iPhone 3G and when Sync'd it does not allow it to play. Can anyone help? Do I need to download an App to convert or can I convert this directly through iTunes? I understand that the movie file has to be an MP4 which I believe already is when downloaded through iTunes directly? Please help.
Also, one more question.. Is there an App out there I could download to make use of a zoom in-out function for the built-in camera in the iPhone? How about recording videos?

Do you see the movie in your itunes libary? I believe of you highlight it and right click it will show a option to convert video for ipod (mp4). I have only tried this with my own videos and not anything from itunes.
If you set you sync options so you have manual control over file management, are you able to click and drag it on to the phone?

So one man from enginering take a phone for check and he sai that may be is been replaced the sreen and is not from apple brand, so may be for that reson is showing mesage.
3. I open the phone and take out main board and put to good working phone. So what hapeand? same thing, same mesage come up. Never mind, I conect to itunes and hold button with power buton to restore phone again, but nothing changed same mesage on itunes.
4. I check the IMEII if is blocked or no and is unblocked.

Nothing anyone can do for you. You have a second hand phone that's been repaired by an unauthorized 3rd party using counterfeit, stolen, or salvaged parts. Apple won't touch it, as you've learned.
Buy a new phone. Preferably, from a legitimate source.

I need help with IPHOne 4s IOS 7.0.4 battery life not improving

Alright, I Ned help with my iPhone 4S battler life, it is horrible, it will drain in about 12 hours. All I do is check my email, text a few people, and check a few apps. When I may school, it is a hundred percent, then I check it during school etc, when I go to bed it is about 20-30% battery life. Need help. Any suggestions? I tried a hard resets and restoring to a new iPhone etc, nothing worked.

I"m not at all sure what is the problem when you are describing your battery as holding its charge for 12 hours???
How long do you want your device to hold its battery charge???
Please see this article for tips on conserving battery charge. But PLEASE if you are looking for a device to hold its charge for LONGER than 12 hours I would suggest an android.

Help with iphone freezing

Does anyone have any advice for an iPhone that is consistently freezing? When this occurs a white flickering bar appears across the top of the phone and the phone becomes unresponsive to touch. This happens randomly but frequently and lasts from a few seconds to a few minutes.

After reviewing your post, it sounds as though your device is frequently becoming unresponsive. I have located an article that can help with software issues. Have you attempted to restore the device to factory settings without restoring from a backup? Test the issue on a new installation, and make sure that it works. Then use the same article to restore from your backup to either verify it still works, or isolate the issue to the backup itself.

Urgently need some help with a few Swing questions

I'm hoping someone can help me, I need to get these problems fixed very soon or I'm in trouble.
Scenario: I have a JTreeTable inside a JScrollPane inside a JPanel that is inside a JFrame.
Problems I'm having (solutions or help with any of all would be greatly appreciated):
1. I'm trying to make it possible to do a selection in the JTreeTable by right-clicking the mouse (as well as the normal left click), but only if there is nothing currently selected, so I do something like this:
        int[] sel = treeTable.getSelectedRows();
        if ((sel == null) || (sel.length == 0)) {
            treeTable.setColumnSelectionAllowed(false);
            treeTable.setRowSelectionAllowed(true);
            treeTable.setRowSelectionInterval(0, 0);            // but I don't know what these values should be set to, where to get them from?
        }I want to select the row at the mouse cursor, I have the x/y values but I don't know how to relate them to the row index. The full feature that I require is I need
2. I have a popup menu that appears after a right click on the JTreeTable, it's handled by a MouseListener attached to the JTreeTable, I want this to also appear anywhere else in the JScrollpane. I've tried moving the MouseListener to the JScrollPane, but then the popup stops working if user clicks inside JTreeTable, if I add it to both, it almost works, except that user cannot click below the JTreeTable's first column. Any ideas on this?
3. How can I change the JTreeTable selection behaviour so that you can only multi-select using Ctrl/Shift and not the mouse? Mouse must only allow single connection, I'm currently using:
treeTable.setSelectionMode(ListSelectionModel.MULTIPLE_INTERVAL_SELECTION);But this allows mouse drag selection as well, which shouldn't be there. How is this avoidable?
4. I want to make the minimize button to make an icon in system tray and be able to restore it by clicking on it. Also I want to be able to minimze from a popup menu, I've currently got the following:

I have an iphone 3gs and after taking a few videos and pictures the other day i got my son to show me how to upload them to the pc (fine) but somewhere along syncing them on itunes i have a new folder in my photo album under Camera roll were they have all gone but unlike my stuff in Camera roll there are no delete options?any ideas?
Tried seeing if i could get into it from where it was created in itunes but not getting much joy.

He probably created an album in whatever application you use on your pc for photos & then put a check in the appropriate box under the photo tab in itunes. Photo syncing is one way, computer to phone. You are correct in that you can't delete these photos directly on the phone, only the one's in your camera roll. To remove the pics & album simple "uncheck" them under the photo tab in itunes, sync & they will be removed from your phone, but not deleted from your pc.

Help with sending pics from iphone to another phone

i am trying to send pics from my iphone and it keeps giving me an exclamation mark to try again....i have never had issues sending in the past.
I am able to receive pics, and send through email. But for some reason it's not delivering when i do mms.

Need help with iphone battery charging please

hey all,
i have a problem with charging iphone battery,
i´ve had the phone for 8months now with no problems at all,
yesterday i used it as a modem for connecting to the internet and it worked just fine but the battery died so quick and now it wont charge at all
i used both charge connector and USB drive in the computer - nothing works, i already tried resseting it several times - didnt work either, i also tried plugging in a different cable - thta didnt help either so its basically turned into a brick, i noticed tho when i try to restart it there´s a couple wierd lines on my display but then it doesnt turn on or anything, it goes back to a black screen with battery picture and one red line indicating i need to charge it...
i tried to charge it overnight but the red line on the battery pic doesnt move or anything, there´s no sign of it charging at all and it doesnt even want to sync with the computer, i dont know what else to try
please help someone

Need help with QT Pro Editing Question re: lost footage

Stumped on this issue. Had captured miniDV footage (7 minutes in length and 1.09 GB in size. I wanted to extract 12 seconds of this to send out as a clip. Steps i took were:
1) Cut the footage on either end and was left with 12 seconds i needed.
2) THen Saved File as and gave it another name.
3) Now my original file is still 1.09 GB (which it should be) but only plays the 12 seconds that i kept
If i open that file, and click save as, option to save as self contained shows that clip should be 43.6 MB which is what my renamed and altered file is.
Question, any chance i have somehow "Hidden" the content so the QT player won't play it but it's still in the file somewhere. How can i extract?
Naturally, i don't have the original master miniDV footage. any help appreciated.

If the "Play selection Only" option is set, then only the 12 second segment will play but the progress bar will display the entire file to include segments before and after the "selected/playing" portion. If the progress bar is only as wide as the playing segment, then you have inadvertantly saved the "trimmed" data to the original file and the data is probably lost. Not sure if this works llike a "secure HDD delete" (which overwrites the unwanted data) or a simple "HDD delete" which only marks the data as not existing but actually leaves it it tact. If the latter, then there may be some sort of "movie undeleter" utility out there, but I personally know of none. In either case, the file size listed cannot be relied upon as it file container is much like a partially filled milk bottle now -- the bottle size remains unchanged but the bottle is no longer filled.
