Help with Iphone 4 for yahoo email...

I'm not getting any of my emails from my Yahoo account, and I've updatesd to IOS 5 and ICloud, updated the settings through Mail Account Settings and typed in my password, and it is still not working. Every time I log in, it won't let me through. Help please!

clearly it is not an issue of wrong email address. I was having the same issue and so does my wife. I just fixed mine and when I get home I will fix hers.
I went to settings then to email... selected the account i am having an issue with (mine was hotmail) clicked on the outgoing mail server (smtp) I noticed that it has a primary server listed and other smtp servers. the other servers were off. I selected the one i should be using and turned it on.
I went back to my email account and it sent the email the moment i clicked on email.

I changed my apple id to my new password over a year ago. Trying to restore my iphone and its asking for the password for my old apple id (old email address) which I no longer have access to. Tried the 'answer questions' to reset but it won't accept my valid birthdate. How can I make this prompt for my old email address go away and make it ask for my new one (new apple id). A similar issue is that iCloud keeps popping up asking for the password for my old email address as well.

You can't link to your new account (you created a new iTunes account, you didn't update your existing account ?) until removed removed the activation lock to your old account - you can then link it to your new account in Settings > iCloud.
If you can't get the password for your old account reset via http://iforgot.apple.com then try contacting Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset it for you.

Getting server unavailable message for yahoo email

Please can someone help? Cannot access my yahoo email now on ipad as keep getting error message saying "server unavailable" - tried to delete the account and retry but still keeps happening! Help .....

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

But.. with perseverance.. made it work. The original PHP code I wanted to use was:

After much trial and error. this is what I found works.. for me at any rate. My log in sets a cookie that welcomes my user back by name so I ended up using that information with this:

The sign in seal is an option you build for sign in id and password for yahoo emails. it assures authenticity. It shows up, except on firefox. I would appreciate your comments please.

Help with Simple Applescript for Midipipe

Hey all, I'm in desperate need of help with some Applescript for use in a program called Midipipe:

I simply require an Applescript for Midipipe that filters out all OFF notes except for the most recently pressed key, or most recently pressed ON note. So for example, when multiple keys have been pressed, only the most recently pressed key will send an OFF note. I hope that is clear enough, i've had some major issues trying to get this work and my last hope is to hit the forums and find some help .. I've posted on some of the audio forums and i'm hoping someone here knows how to code this.

For this to work, your buttons need to have the same artwork in the hit frame as they do in the up frame.

Not sure what you expect. Your URL is absolute and pointing to a local file resource. It's not a proper relative HTML link. Beyond that it's toatlly unclear how you actually plan to load your image and where they are hosted, so nobody can tell you anything. Either way, there is an obviously painful lack of understanding of even the most basic web techniques, so the best advise anyone would give you is to spend some time with a web search and actualyl learn some of that stuff...

I need help with IPHOne 4s IOS 7.0.4 battery life not improving

Alright, I Ned help with my iPhone 4S battler life, it is horrible, it will drain in about 12 hours. All I do is check my email, text a few people, and check a few apps. When I may school, it is a hundred percent, then I check it during school etc, when I go to bed it is about 20-30% battery life. Need help. Any suggestions? I tried a hard resets and restoring to a new iPhone etc, nothing worked.

I"m not at all sure what is the problem when you are describing your battery as holding its charge for 12 hours???
How long do you want your device to hold its battery charge???

2 minor issues need help with one BBM and one email

the BBM issue is one of my contacts that has the z10 doesn't show option for my to video chat with him all my other contacts do and he has it displayed on his side and all his options are set same as mine
second question is since i set up my activesync email it has pushed a password on my phone everytime it goes to sleep and i go to options and cannot turn off the device password option.

It sounds like the account you connected to for ActiveSync has an IT policy that requires the password. You can't get around it. You'd have to talk to them.
For BBM, have you verified the PIN is correct on each end? Can you BBM directly with this person? You both have to be on wifi, as well.

I am beginner in ABAP, need your help in finding solution for the below issue.The Scenario is between MDM to SRM(R/3 System)
External supplier when registers, system need to generate a unique identification number ( Registration Number / Profile Number ) for the supplier and also generate a PIN ( password ) for the Registration Number, so that users from supplier company can request a user id to be created.These user idu2019s will be then linked to the supplier profile using the registration number.Also, supplier needs to be communicated with the Registration and PIN number via email.
FOr the email we are using the FM"ZGVMP_SUPPLIER_REGISTRATION".
My query is when the supplier is receiving the email , he is getting the email from the name GVMPUIDC(i.e the system id, it is being sent by the syetm id or user id of the program).
I want the mail to be sent by the following name to the supplier by different name instead of GVMPUIDC.
please help in solving the problem

My work emails disappeared today on Iphone, but my yahoo emails remain. Why?

I have an Iphone 3GS and I have my yahoo account and my work account on the phone. I save the necessary emails that I might need when away from my computer. This morning I turned on my phone to check emails and my work emails disappeared completely (getting new emails on phone however). All of my Yahoo emails still remain. Why is this happening and how do I get them back?

POP accounts do not synchronize across multiple clients; the POP3 protocol was invented at a time when personal computers were new, and no one anticipated that anyone would ever have more than one device to read email. So when multiple devices became available the IMAP protocol was developed; IMAP makes the server the master copy, and replicates mail to all clients and keeps them synchronized. So deleting or moving a message on one client updates the server, and then the other clients the next time they sync. Yahoo uses IMAP, which is why it works as you described. Exchange is similar to IMAP, but uses a different lower level protocol that allows "push" to the clients so they don't have to request updates.
As your work accounts are POP3 mail should never be deleted unless you delete it, or you have automatic deleting set up in the settings. So it sounds like something went wrong on your phone; possibly a "toxic" malformed email was received that corrupted the Inbox, and mail.app recovered be emptying the Inbox. It's unlikely that those emails can be recovered. You can try restoring the backup if you had synced recently, but that will overwrite everything that has been received since.
If at all possible you should switch to an IMAP or Exchange account for your work email to protect against this in the future (and also take advantage of other IMAP benefits, such as folders).
