Help with itunes Help
I am using windows 7 and have downlaoded itunes 10.5 and when i select the itunes help I get this message in a new window (Not Found..The requsted URL/itunes/win/10.5 was not on this server)..Where did the help go?
I also have Windows 7 and after downloading the latest itunes cannot access the itunes help although I can view the tutorials etc. I am also getting the same message regarding the server. Cannot find any other link to this problem in the support community.

Ipod Touch 4g will no longer sync with iTunes - help!!!
I have an iPod Touch 4 and am using the latest version of iTunes 11.0.2.26 but can no longer get my ipod to sync with itunes. When I click on Sync I get the message 'waiting for changes to be applied' then 'finished' but it does not sync. I have completely restored my ipod and have uninstalled iTunes, Apple Update, Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support before reinstalling iTunes. All my music in iTunes is from my own library rather than purchased from iTunes. It all used to work fine and I feel I've exhausted all my knowledge in fixing this and need some assistance. Can anyone help?
Seems like you've tried the most important steps in troubleshooting, so that's good.
What I'm wondering is: when you deinstalled iTunes and all those other things, did you do it in a specific order, according to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 for windows Vista/windows 7 or http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 for windows XP ? I don't see Apple Application Support in the list of components you deleted. I would recommend removing everything again in the specific order using the article you need and trying again to sync.
Also: try creating another user account on your computer and syncing again, because sometimes software issues are user-wide.

The error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS. -
help needed with itunes please tryed to move my itunes libary to my external hard drive itunes move ok and runs fin but i have none of my music or apps or anything all my stuff is in the itunes folder on my external hard drive but there is nothing on ituns how do i get it back help,please

If you have bad song links in your library, hilite them and hit the delete button. Then locate the folder(s) where your music is located and drag and drop into the large library window in iTunes ( where your tracks show up). This will force the tunes into iTunes. Before you start, check your preferences in iTunes specifically under the"Advanced" tab, general settings. I prefer that the 1st 2 boxes are unchecked. (Keep iTunes Music folder organized & Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library). They are designed to let iTunes manage your library. I prefer to manage it myself. Suit yourself. If there is a way for iTunes to restore broken links other than locating one song at a time I haven't found it yet. (I wish Apple would fix this, as I have used that feature in other apps.) This is the way I do it and I have approx. 25,000 songs and podcasts and videos at present. Hope this helps. -
iTunes Store for Windows. Everytime I try an access the iTunes Store it takes really long to connect and then it says iTunes store cannot be access. I think I am up to date with iTunes Verison, I Have 11.0.2.26 but no matter what I try it does not connect. HELP Please???

can someone please help me. my grandson accidently locked his iphone. i have try to reconnect it with itunes in order to restore it. You have to put the phone into recovery mode before you can restore it. First, turn the phone off. Second, while holding down the home button, connect the phone to the computer, and keep holding down the home button until you see the iTunes logo on the face of the phone (this is recovery mode). Next you should see a message on iTunes on your computer say something like "in order to use this phone you have to restore it from recovery mode.." This will allow you to access your phone! I am a newbie...and I think I did a big no-no as my Ipad isn't working. I synced it to a second computer at work which is a new Imac after already syncing to my pc at home with Itunes. Now it says it can't restore and can't get it to open, getting error messages but can't fix myself. Can anyone help??
iPad can connect only in one iTunes Library. If you want to connect it to a iTunes Library then you have to erase it. You can erase it from iTunes. Make sure you iPad doesn't have a password, or if it has a password make sure that you connect to the computer and enter the password of your iPad

Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

Need help with Itunes Authorization issue
I've been a Itunes/Ipod user for a couple years. During that time, I've sure spent over $500.00 on Itunes music from the Itunes store for my Ipod. My daugter and I both have Ipods.. There have only been 2 machines with Itunes installed here but I occasionally rebuild my computers to have the latest and greatest hardware for my business.. The other day I backed up all my music and data before rebuilding my machine due to hardware upgrades. Everything went smoothly including importing my purchased music back into Itunes.. The problem is I can't listen to it now. When I try to double click a song I get an error that says "You have already authorized 5 computers with this account. To authorize this computer you must first deauthorize one of the other computers" This isn't possible because the computers aren't around anymore to deauthorize. They were all housed (except 1, my daughters pc) in the same case as I have now.. Please respond...

my iphone 4s fell and display went blank,and when i restarted it shows a USB on display asking to connect with itunes,instead i went to a phone repair shop where they service iphones too.First they said that they have to install the IOS4 again in it but they could not do so due to an error so later they asked me whether they should install IOS5 i agreed but it only happened after a long struggle yet the phone remains in the same state with the display showing USB asking to connect with itunes..they could not fix it..please help me..:(
What's there to help? You dropped your phone and now it's broken. You'll have to bring your phone into Apple for an out of warranty exchange. If you purchased Apple Care+ is will cost $49.00, if not, it will be $199.00

Hey, my ipad is disabled and i cant open. i tried connecting it with itunes in recovery mode to restore it but it wont work it doesnt show and options itunes doesnt detect my ipad in recovery mode. what do i do know? please help!!!
If you followed these instructions and you were unable to enter recovery mode, I'm still leaning toward a hardware problem. Also, since you have IOS-7, read this. It might help.

Help with iTunes 2.0.4 and library on networked Mac
Hello, I was given an old Powermac G3 (blue and white). It's running Mac OS 9 and iTunes 2.0.4. I have it hooked up in my garage. I want to listen to my iTunes while I'm out there working on stuff. My iTunes library is on my MacBook Pro in the house. I cannot get the G3 to see my iTunes library, or my MBP. I have sharing enabled on my MBP. Both computers have internet access through the network, and I have no issues using my iPhone 5 with my MBP. I don't understand what's going on, but I would love to get the garage computer working! Help, please!
What kind of networking? When I think of G3s I do not think of wireless capability, so do you have some kind of Ethernet LAN? Can the G3 "see" the Macbook Pro for anything?
What kind of sharing? General file sharing? iTunes Library sharing (again not sure when this came in and if it was present with iTunes 2)? -

Reset your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
I have windows 8 enterprise OS and iTunes ver. 10.5.0.142. I was upgrading my iPad to IOS 6.1.3. After finishing the upgrade my iPad Reboot and currently stucked-up in a plug-in screen and iTunes Logo. When I try to connect it to the iTunes pop-up message appear saying " iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes." In short, I push the restore button then another pop-up message appear saying " The iPad software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." I tried many ways but still no luck. I repeatedly reboot the iPad and open the iTunes still the same problem. I try also to uninstall the iTunes and installed the lower version but still the same problem, I even check the firewall if the ITunes was block or My privileges is administrator to run the iTunes or even reset my winsock but the problem still remain. PLEASE HELP! Thank you in advance!!!

i factory unlock my iphone 3gs and was on ios 6.1.2 and updatednit to 6.1.3 with itunes and the phone got lock again at activation screen. i try downgrading to 4.1 with baseband 5.13.04 and want to upgrade back to 6.1.2. pls help me
Sorry, downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple, thus there is no official way to do so. Your phone was re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to because you hacked it to unlock it. Apple's servers detected such & re-locked your phone. You need to contact the carrier your phone is locked to if you want to get it officially unlocked.
