Help with mdb core analysis tool

Hi,
We are having a possibly memory leak problem but we don't know for sure. In order to find out if there any memory leaks, we are trying to use "mdb" tool that comes along with Solaris (version: SunOS romeo 5.10 Generic_125100-10 sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T200). Problem is when I run "mdb" the module "libumem.so.1" is not loaded. This is what I get

UMEM_DEBUG=default
UMEM_LOGGING=transaction
LD_PRELOAD=libumem.so.1
But still no luck. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to load libumem.so.1 module?

Help with Cisco Output Interpreter tool!!

Hi All,
I am experiencing a problem with Cisco Output Interpreter tool.
While the tool is working fine and displaying the "CONFIGURATION COMMAND REFERENCE NOTIFICATIONS (if any)" very effectively but I am unable to use the hyperlink to get an understanding about a particular command.
When I click on a particular command(hyperlink) it pops up another window and the below error is displayed.
Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/Support/Cmdlookup/ios-command-lookup.pl was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Anyone else had/have this particular error. Could you please help me with this.

Can you help with the moire adjustment tool in Camera Raw?

I have a file with a lot of moire on a child's dress and am having problems using camera raw moire adjustment tool.
I opened a jpeg file (not raw) in camera raw. When I use the moire adjustment brush - set to +100 - and click on the eyeglass tool in the window to see the effect - it shows a white overlay.
Clicking the preview button doesn't show up any difference.
I have saved several files as tests but the moire remains unaltered.
Any help appreciated. Or alternatively, suggestions on how to deal with Moire in Photoshop.

If possible deal with the moire issues up front. If you have original re-scan to see if you can reduce effect. If not do a web search for this. There are several tutorials listed such as http://photographylife.com/how-to-remove-moire-in-photoshop

Mac user needs help with photoshop screen and tool bar

Hello when I open photoshop I get the screen you can see to the left. The right hand tool bar has disapeard, if you scroll across it comes into view, I want to be able to open photoshop as I could originally with the screen the size of the computer screen and the tool bar in place. What is also happening is that when I select the image i want, the image goes directly on to the screen and does not go to the tool bar above, again I would like to have the images going to the tool bar so I can select them and put them on a blank page. The same happens when I open up a blank page it does not store it in the tool bar but opens it up directly on to sreen. Hope you can help.

Thanks also tried that it does hangs the screen back to how it was but the background is now my screen saver with the photoshop tool bars around. But the docking area is still not visible and when I open a file it opens it as sep screen and layer and not as part of docking station? Very strange

Need help with Elements 10 & Smartbrush Tool

I'm new to PSE 10 and have a lot to learn. I'm using it to enhance my photos of properties when I list and sell them. I was doing fine with the Smartbrush tool and Quick Selection Tool after watching a few videos on the Internet, but now I'm experiencing an issue with these tools that is most likely a very quick adjustment. When I choose either tool, instead of allowing me to choose an area of my photo, the selected area ends up the entire photo and after I clean that up, if I go anywhere even near to the edges of the photo, another selected area appears as a rectangular shape. It's like I've lost contol of the tools and I'm not sure of what I've changed to make this happen. Thanks for any help you can offer.

On the option bar for each of the tools, there is a little arrow, top left. Click on that and reset the tool.That may fix it..
If not, please report back.

Help with using the pen tool

I have a few different problems with the pen tool.
1. When using the pen tool I keep finding that the shape I'm doing is slightly overlapping where I've already gone with the pen tool.
If I try and go over that area again the path I've just drawn then jumps and ruins the shape I was creating.
How can I stop this from happening?
2. Also is there a limit to the amount of paths you can create and add text to? I created two paths and typed on them fine but when I added a third path it refused to type. The cursor didn't change to show I could type and if I did click on the path line and try to type jumped to my other path and typed there. All paths were on different layers and none were overlapping, but it is 3 circles inside each other that get smaller if this makes a difference.
How can I type on the third path?
3. When I have done a path and clicked stroke it is only a thin line. How can I make this line thicker?

Ok, the first example would be something like this. Pretending the lines go elsewhere, say I've drawn a path with the pen tool, gone round the bottom box and that then goes round the two lines going down. So if I go down the one on the left side it hits the previous path I did, but to go up the line on the right side I'd need to go across there. But if I make a point where the two lines meet to do this it then throws the line off elsewhere.
I did have snap vector tools on but it does that without it on.
The next one I was creating a car speedometer so it has lines on the outside, dots inside of that and then, where I've done the blue circle, would be the third path where I then write the numbers in. But I can never write on that third path.
And finally, the pen tool and I think it dd have Shape Dynamics set. I've changed a couple of things and it looks a bit better now so I think that should be ok. Thanks
I know I haven't shown the panels but I haven't got any for the first as it won't go right so I deleted what I was doing. And each thing I've done is on a different layer for the speedometer, all just paths created with the circle tool with the text on.

I am having similar problem. Can't open any of CS3 programs after trying to download Dreamweaver Trial, which wouldn't work because "couldn't remove DLM extention" error message. So now I can not run Illustrator, Photoshop, or even Adobe Reader. These are properly licensed for about a year. I get "License for product has stopped working". Have 2 pending cases open with Adobe support (one for Dreamweaver trial, one for license problem) since 8/3 with NO ANSWERS - It says answers within 1-3 business days. Was on phone support hold today for over 3 hours before line went dead with no help. What is up with adobe support? Can anyone help?

Need help with Share My Screen tool in InDesign CS5.5

I am trying to use the screen sharing tool and keep getting an error message, "Updating your account. We are currently updating your account. Please wait a few minutes and try again." How do I get past this?

Thank you Bob. I had heard they killed it in CS6 but thought it might still work in CS5. We did try using Google Plus and were able to see other docs but not our InDesign doc (it appeared black). We thought maybe Adobe wanted us to buy their product.... Maybe we should try it again, or another one. Are you familiar with any of these?

According to your post bug check 0x7F is recorded. Bug check 0x7F typically occurs after you install a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or if installed hardware fails.
I suggest you check below link and troubleshoot it accordingly.

Help with the horizontal mask tool ,please?

I am still using the trial version of PSE 8. I have read the help section on creating & using the type mask tool. I also looked at the creating type mask tutorial. Hoewever, it does not work for me. I want to use a photo (like the zebra stripes in the tutorial). The font used in the tutorial is Stencil Std. and I don't have that one. I set the font size to 100, but what is typed isn't even close. The font style in the tutorial is set on bold. Mine is set on regular and I can't the menu to drop down to change it. What am I doing wrong?

You need to choose a really fat, chunky font, and set the size as large as it needs to be, which may be much bigger than 100 pts. Bold is available as a faux style via the options bar settings but it only appears in the menu if there is an actual bold font (in other words, if you are using a font which doesn't have a true bold style you may be able to fake it, but you won't see the name as myfont bold).

Help with MDB

I have a message driven bean, which is listening to a queue for a particular message. On receiving the message it should invoke a remote interface In a session bean)for further business action, basically a validation done by the session bean.
How can I invoke that and pass the message to the session bean.?

You have to lookup your session bean via jndi. Your MDB code should be something like:

Help with fill, in shape tool?

Hi
InDesign CS 4.
When I drag a new rectangle it always fills with a fade from left to right with a border line that fades as well. It's the same with elipses or polygons.
Trying to change the fill, or the line color has no effect.
I don't know how I got this turned on and I can't figure out how to turn is off.
I'm in the middle of a job, I need to get this fixed.

Here is the image...
As you can see it works fine if I open a new document.
If I open any of the pages then the problem comes back.\
So somehow what ever is happening is encoded into the documents.
I also noticed that the shapes created are transparent.
When I overlapped it with another box I could see it underneath.
Well since it works fine in Windows 7 I'll just finish the job using it and hope that it doesn't happen on the next job.
Weird that it works in Windows 7 and suddenly not in Windows 8.
And if it's an error in the file why does it not open the same in 7.

Need some help with the V.O. tool.

I am at a loss! I cannot get the headphones to work when using the vo tool. The guy doing the narration must be able to hear not only his voice, but also the tracks that are already in the timeline. I am taking the output of my mixer and going into the line in of the computer. The vo works...but no audio into the headsets. Also, I the beeps are recorded into the timeline. And to make things more confusing...It works on my macbook pro...although I am using the built in mic on the laptop. Shouldn't make a difference. I am lost. And...how do you target a different track in the vo tool? It always adds a track at the bottom. Say I want to target a portion of track one? It always adds a new track.
Anyway...any help and insight would be great.

How are you monitoring the timeline audio? (Built-in speakers, External speakers, via Mixer etc)
Where are the headphones plugged in?

the track targeting is handled the same way as usual (using source/destination targeting in the timeline's patchbay area) however if the targetted track already has content within the marked area, then the vo tool will insert the vo into a new track created immediately below the targetted one.

New to dreamweaver, help with mdb

hi I am new to dreamweaver and have some html knowledge but no fancy stuff here. I have setup my website to communicate w/ dreamweaver but my asp pages are not interacting... that is, I cannot see any mdb database info in the "live view." can someone please help w/ all this dns jargon. I've searched google but it's too confusing. i'm sure I can figure this out w/ some help. thanks!

Live view will not display dynamic server side data.
To view this you will have to set up an asp testing server, see - http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/setting_up_asp.html.
If you are just starting can I recommend that you consider using php/mysql in place of asp/mdb (or msql), as the php set-up is much better supported in dreamweaver and on this forum.

I need help with the Xcode Dev tools!!!

So I recently got a new iMac and went to install the xcode dev tools on the app store but it only installed Xcode and no other dev tools. How to I get the whole Dev toolset????? I went to the the apple site and downloaded the diskimage and it was still just Xcode HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I think your using a older version cause it no longer installs under /MacintoshHD/Developer it installs under /Applactions/Xcode as of Xcode 4.3.2
I know I am which is why my post said "If they haven't changed it from the ones for Snow Leopard...". I'm still using 10.6.5.
