I cannot find my rental movie on my Macbook. Any advice welcome ?

If you downloaded it on your Mac then it should be in the Movies section of your iTunes library - is there a 'rentals' tab on that screen ?

i need to down load whats called WON.EXE but i don't know how to find it to down load it, if any one knows please help me, my e-mail is (email removed per forum guidelines) problem i'm having is i'm playing at this game site called hoylegames and i can get in lobby but when i sit at table to play i get booted out.

Is your operating system Vista or XP if is Vista try this:
Hoyle Online can be played on Vista, but wonplay must be installed in the Public directory.
Here are the basic instructions.
The wonplay.exe must be installed in the C:\Users\Public\ directory of Vista.
Download the wonplay.exe here, saving it to your desktop.

Double click to install the wonplay.exe
When the box opens asking where you wish to install it to, click Browse and navigate to the C:\Users\Public\ this is where you should install Wonplay to.
Once it installs, Go to the C:\Users\Public\wonplay directory, right click on Wonplay.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
When you launch a game, you may have to allow permissions the first time.

but when i try and download rim or 3rd part app i get a message saying
the IT policy dose not allow downloading third-pary applications
BUT I DO NOT HAVE AN IT DEPARTMENT
but i bought the phone my self .. and work has not got my e.mail address ...???

ok sounds like your bb used to be on a BES
goto 'options' and 'about' check what version of software is on your device... 3rd line down v4.x.x.x
you will need to download and install Desktop Manager 4.7
DTM w/ Media Manager or DTM w/o Media Manager
make a backup
click on 'start' and 'run'
type in 'cmd'
in the black screen type "cd c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader" no quotes and press 'enter'
you will then be in that directory
next type "loader.exe /resettofactory" no quotes and press 'enter'
after the appload resets your device and reboots
you can go back and check to see if the IT Policy has been removed
then you can restore your backup

Movies down load for Pakistan,how it possible?

Mac app store does not offer rent or purchase movie down load for Pakistan, where as if choose the other region/country then it has but for payment through credit card a valid address of billing is equired. Can any one help me to convince apple to up grade the Pak Mac App Store so that I may enjoy the movies.

Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

Appreciate your help Ian and others. I have since uninstalled FCS and reinstalled FCXP only to get the same thing. Loading FCXP stalls at "Looking for Compressor Support". When I first downloaded FCXP from the App store I didn't notice that FCS was being placed in it's own folder. It's not something I did manually. Although moved into it's own folder with FCXP on the same drive. I was not able to open FCS apps. They would load and then "quit unexpectantly". They opened just fine before I downloaded FCXP. Do I need to purchase Compressor so that FCXP recognizes it? It seems this is where it stalls. It doesn't explain however why my computer "FREEZES" while doing this. I am in the process of re-installing Lion to see if this helps, otherwise I am at a complete loss.

I'm in NZ and have a 100Mbps link, tested on Speedtest, and downloads from Apple - and ONLY Apple - take forever (like 2Hr or more before a movie will even play). I've tried setting the DNS to my ISP's DNS manually. There is no local interference, WiFi is working well otherwise.
It isn't local to my network, and seeing as access to the internet otherwise isn't demonstrating this sort of sluggish behaviour, I'd say it isn't the ISPs problem either.And what do you know, lots of other people are reporting problems with access to Apple's services being glacial and getting slower over time.
It is patently clear where the problem is, and it is at Apple's end of things. They clearly have insufficient infrastructure to support downloads at a reasonable speed.

What's your problem is 1) your ipad froze or 2) you now have no internet connection?

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

What Mac model do you have? You might be able to upgrade the OS to Tiger 10.4 or Leopard 10.5.
Even browsers for Tiger 10.4 will get the update message.
You could try a newer browser than Safari, which is obsolete, by downloading Firefox v2.0.0.20 at http://www.oldapps.com/mac/firefox.php

Looking for help with movie loading in a different spot every time page reloads.

Hello,
I have a Flash movie that I need to jump to a one of 6 chosen frames when say a user hits the back button or home in the site. I just dont want the same user seeing the flash movie replay in the same spot everytime they go back to home.
ANY help with this is appreciated.

That did not work. It loops back to the frame that it first loaded to not to frame 1 the beginning.
It tried putting gotoAndPlay(numbers[frame]); on the very last frame, then I made a new keyframe after the very last frame and neither worked.

Having trouble getting home made hd movies to down load to windows. photos work perfect.Any ideas? and does anybody know how big of a hd movie can be emailed?

Are trying to get an HD movie that you produced with iMovie on the iPhone downloaded to your PC? I have had this problem with a long movie but not with a short one. Thus far I have had success with a 4 minute movie. I spoke with Apple support twice and they were unable to help me or even acknowledge that they were aware of an issue

Have Directv connecting to airport Extream movie down load fails every time.time

Cannot down load movies to new directv converter. Airport Extream seems to drop the
wi-fi connection every time. Reset the system and it drops when start down load?

I had the same thing happen two days ago with my d-link wireless router. I could see that the connection icon (ice cream cone) was connected, but it wouldn't connect in safari.
I hadn't loaded any new updates or anything. The only thing that happened was that the power was interrupted in the middle of the night, and I had to reboot the router. My other computers(laptop/desktop) came back and worked fine, but my MBP running 10.4.11 wouldn't connect.
It was still under 90 day warranty, so I called APL-CARE. They said that one of the recent updates, required me to change the security settings on the router. Apple only felt that running a WPA account was the safe way of using wireless. I was running on WEP. So I went into the router(in my browser) and turned off security all together. Sure enough my MBP worked. I then changed the setting to WPA, and gave it a new password.
I went back to all my computers, logged into all of them with the new security settings/password and I am all online now.

In plus i have four parameters with searchlight options, the problem is when i select "Finance" from DEPT2 and in the next selection level i'm seeing all the departments "Accounting,Asset Management and Bridge Dsgn Insp Hyd" insted of just "Accounting". What i want is if i select a department in DEPT2, in the next drop down list(DEPT3) i want to see only the departement corresponding to the one i selected in dept2. Please need help.

First of all you need to be using Discoverer 10g or 11g Plus not 9.0.4. Assuming you have the right version you need to present the parameters in the correct order. You can change the order on the parameters screen by selecting Tools | Parameters from the toolbar. You then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to place them in the right order so that DEPT1 is offered first, followed by DEPT2, then DEPT3 and then DEPT4.
Next, you need to check the radion button on the bottom of the right-hand side that allows linking of parameters then you make DEPT2 dependent upon DEPT1, with DEPT3 dependent upon DEPT2 and so on.
While this works without hierarchies it works best when you have a hierarchy in place and even better when there is a composite index on the 4 items.

I am using iWeb to build my church's website. All is well except the movie page. I have only one movie uploaded so far, my old site had 6, each between 6 and 10 megs. On the old site I used microsoft Frontpage. The videos, all in WMV format, worked flawlessly. They used to download in Windows media player, and played immediately, but now that I am using iWeb they have to download before watching, AND if it is a Mac owner visiting the site they have to have flip4mac installed as a Quicktime plugin. PC users can't see them at all.
It's not a problem for me to export the videos in another format, I would just like some help with the most universally excepted settings. I don't care if it's Quicktime, Flash, or Windows Media. What would be best for most internet users? And, can you put a movie on an iWeb made site, that will load into Windows Media Player as an option to quicktime? That is to say if I were to give the viewer a choice.

iWeb writes page code that forces the QuickTime browser plug-in be used. Since your file is:

You can use iWeb to make a "direct" link (link to file). When the viewer click the link they would be able to download the WMP file. This would allow PC visitors to use Media Player and Mac visitors use Flip for Mac or Windows Media Player for Mac.
Since iWeb forces QuickTime formats you should convert from .wmv to .mov formats to make your work easier.

Frustrated with trial down load process...

I have tried to load Captivate 6 trail version since 10/27/12 and even received an email stating the trail period already started. I never even down loaded the application. I have a MAC OSX 6.8 version.
First I tried down loading with Akami and next was sent to my email by a technician with an install link. When I tried using the URL link it stated permission denied. I'm frustrated please help. I need the trail version to determine if I will purchase Captivate 6.
