Help with my apple Id on my iPhone 4s
I have an iPhone 4s I have synced it to my computer however I didn't notice that my boyfriends account was logged into my computer and not mine. Now when I go to up date an ap on my phone his account t comes up. I have tried going to settings>store>apple id & logging out & back in again, it has my account listed there. It still his when I go to the app store. Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to start all over again with my phone. :-(
All apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase or download.
did you by chance mistakenly sync his apps to your iphone, maybe the reason you are seeing his apple id .

HT1918 Need help with default Apple ID on my iPhone
I must have incorrectly entered my date of birth when I first set up my Apple ID. Since I don't remember the password for that account, the system asks me for security purposes to enter my date of birth, but when I do, gives me an error message.

I receive a " the maximum number of free account have been activated on this iPhone " when I want to sign in iCloud with my Apple ID on my iphone..please someone help me..
Any one device can create only three iCloud accounts: this is tied to the hardware, not the user account, and there is no way round this.
You will have to create an iCloud account on another iOS device or Mac, then you can sign into it on your iPhone. -
My Mac is very slow and applications take a long time to load, especially Safari and iTunes. Please help. I have run the Etrecheck report and these are results.

I need help with an Apple ID problem...
I own a Macbook and an iPod touch, I have downloaded numerous apps for the iPod over the years. 18 months ago my boyfriend got an iPhone 3GS and created an Apple ID but it would not let him download apps due to some kind of issue registering his bank card. At the time I tried to sort it out and told him to get in touch with Apple support but he was impatient and wanted to start getting apps right away so I caved in and let him use my Apple ID. The next day I realised this was a stupid thing to do when all his apps started appearing in my iTunes. However I didn't see it as too much of a problem at the time...
Tomorrow I am going to pick up my shiny new iPhone 5 (my first iPhone ) and I am worried about plugging it into my Mac and having all these apps that I really don't want around in my iTunes. I am imagining an absolute pain in the bum trying to sort all these apps out and syncing them to the right devices? I would absolutely love to just shift all his apps over to his Apple ID, he has loads of stuff that he needs to keep now. He does not have a computer himself, but there is no real need to plug his iPhone into my macbook ever again. After having a quick read around the forums, there seems to be no simple answer to this problem. If anyone could help with this I would be extremely grateful!DoubleSkin wrote:

You can't. All apps are forever tied to the ID used to originally obtain them. In your case, that would be your ID. He really needs to get his own ID, delete these apps, then purchase them using his ID.
For you, just delete what you don't want from your iTunes library. -

Had a friend who had bought an iPad and I was showing him how to use it. Logged into itunes with my apple ID and password and download and showed him some of the amazing apps that he may like. Few months went by and I downloaded a new app for myself on one of my products only to see that his name was on it already. Got him his own itunes account and removed my info off his ipad but still have a few apps / games where his name shows up. Is there a way to remove my friends name off of these apps and games ?
Buy them again on your account. You cannot move anything bought under his Apple ID to your Apple ID.

Help with Straight Talk on old Verizon Iphone 4S Data Apn
So I have had an old Iphone 4s that once worked on Verizon but I had been using it for over a year as just an IPOD basically with a GPS for Golf app and Music etc. I saw posts about this bring your phone to Walmart and go onto Straight Talk for $45 a month for everything. Sounded good so figured I would try. I purchased a micro Sim for Straight Talk that said it was "compatible with T-Mobile" I didn't know what that meant but figured it was Straight talk and it was a Micro Sim which it didn't look like I could get from Walmart. I got the Sim and unlocked my old Verizon Iphone. I was able to get the Phone working, went through many pains to get Web working but at this point I still can't get Apps that need to connect to the internet to work. Has anyone else figured this out? So again I can use the Phone, I can Text so I have MMS, I can surf with Safari and Maps works without Wifi but if I want to use BofA app or Ebay app that has to use data plan It says it cannot connect to the internet or some message saying it times out. Any idea what more I need to get my full IPhone working on Straight Talk. Also even though I'm on Straight Talk up in the left corner it says T-Mobile, is it supposed to? Not new to Apple but definitely new to straight talk and or any other carriers other than verizon (which everything worked for but was too expensive!!). Thanks for anyone that can help.

HT1296 Please Help with problem syncing Safari bookmarks from iPhone to MacBook
i have an iPhone 5 (7 software) & Macbook Pro 10.9.1. I have iCloud set to sync Safari in both. I want the bookmarks on my iPhone to sync onto/be shared with my Macbook but this is not happening. (I also have an iPad and the Safari bookmarks are automatically syncing from iPhone to iPad)

I am signed into itunes with my id and my iphone / ipad are also on this id but when i go in to manage devices its only showing the iphone. Also just up dated my ipad now its saying not charging when its hooked up to the computer?
If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

I have requested to have my iphone 4 unlocked from three uk. When I receive instructions from them, do I need to connect to my own iTunes or can I connect to someone else's and/or does my contract with three still need to be active for me to unlock or can I cancel before I unlock, I have already paid the £15:32 by debit card. I am currently running iOS 5.1.1
As more background, the reason I want to find out is because I'm away from home and because I expected my phone to be unlocked well before now (three are seriously useless) I requested my PAC code before Christmas and it expires on Sunday so I would love to transfer my number tomorrow before I have wait another 30 days to cancel my contract with three.
I'm not sure if they will unlock my phone in time or if I will be able to do it whilst not having my Mac. Can I transfer my number and then unlock my phone afterwards? I will be reunited with my Mac on Monday.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1Install iTunes on your Acer and you can back up the iPhone. Or back it up to iCloud. If you do not back it up you can get it unlocked, but you will lose all of your content.
You can get iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes.
Even after unlocking I'm not sure it will work on Straight Talk, because last time I checked ST used Verizon as its carrier, and an AT&T iPhone 4 is not compatible with Verizon's network. You can probably use it on Net 10 or T-Mobile once it is unlocked. -
Help with Exchange 2007, Active Sync and iPhone 3g - software 2.0.2

Now that's said, is anyone else having 'issues' with this?
I'm on install number ten of Exchange 2007 and god knows how many different variations of trying to connect to it on the phone. I can get OWA working on the phone and via the web both on the phone and via my home pc, i've had Outlook at home working and i've had Outlook at work working. Honestly when it works, it's seamless and very very quick however i'd like it to work for longer than a day and have some faith that it will do so.
What I keep finding is that for some reason, despite nothing changing on the server or the phone is that Active Sync eventually fails and for no apparent reason. The longest i've had it working is just over a day ( yesterday) and last night it packed up again.
I think it's something to do with certificates / dns but that's purely guesswork as I thought i'd fixed it last time by setting up the FQDN to point at both internal and external network cards on our internal network.
I would also like to point out that Exchange2007 has been working perfectly throughout all of this, it's just the iPhone / ActiveSync part that dies - unsurprisingly this is the most important bit for me as that's the bit our sales force will be relying on when we transfer to exchange.
I'm no Mac 'fan' and i'm not that much in love with Windows but there seems to be something amiss between Apple and Microsoft and due to the iPhones complete lack of diagnostic logging further compounded by silent error messages i'm at a loss to find out where / why / when it's breaking.
Is there a 2.0.3 update due which will address this problem?
In the meantime i'm off to install Exchange ..... again, set up security certificates ... again ..... and see if it will fix what's broken .... againAnd now it's working!!!
I changed the following in IIS.
Default website - Microsoft Server ActiveSync Properties
virtual directory - read access enabled
directory security - integrated windows authentication, digest authentication, basic authentication enabled
realm - set to mydomain.com
Changed the same things for OWA
That appears to have done the trick but i've been here before so i'll see if it stays working over the weekend.
As a phone ... i'm impressed, as a web enabled device, i'm impressed but as a Corporate Tool ..... i've yet to be impressed, largely due to the complexity of integration into exchange.
