Help with new error code (-1)!

Hi I am trying to update my iphone 4 to ios5. When it comes to the last stage, it shows this error of -1. I am unable to find any info related to this error code. Any help with this is highly appreciated! Many Thanks. Now the phone is unusable. Previously it showed several errors including 1600 series and they are all resolved. This is the last hudrle. Please Help!

Like many I experienced some issues when updating to iOS 5 (on launch day). I finally gave up on the Update option and chose the Restore option.
iOS 5 downloaded and installed without issue. I restored from Back Up and everything was in place. No errors.
If you are updating, try using Restore instead.

I refilled the HP cartridges in my Photosmart C 7250 All-in-One and put them in and got this error. I have D/C power,etc and it still comes up with this error code. Now what?

Thanks for your help. There were two issues in it:
1 - The Firewall and Antivirus program - stoped the firewall and exit anti virus
2 - In service manager when I gave the IP address of the machine instead of "local" and click Set it worked.
Finally, when I ran my web application it was connected successfully.
Suggestion: SAP Business One development team should update the scree of Service Manager. If you dont click on the "Set" button it doesnot start communication. Although you have imported the license file it still remains the same. The Import license File button and Connect button should remain disabled unless the Server Name and Port Numbers are set.

The last failed audio CD burn had error code 4900(0x00001324). It happened on drive E: SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-240B on CDR media at speed 24X.

Error 4900 is "Unknown fatal sense error".
Let's start with the support page for your computer. Go there and click on the "Show All" link.
Get the updates labeled "Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility", and "nVidia 64MB GeForce4 MX 420 w/TV Out".
You have the latest firmware for that drive.
If that doesn't help, come back because I see something I would remove from your lower filters.

Help with Apple Error Code & Intermitant Boot Up Problems and ? marks

Well that was a long winded Subject line but I am a technical individual ... but know PC's and learn the Mac world which I have fallen in love with.
Recently I have been getting lock up as well as hanging boot ups with the flashing question mark on the screen.
I have been doing some research and one of the most recent things I did was run the Apple Hardware Test. During the quick test I received the following erro message:
4M0T/ 40000003: HDD
I am feeling like this likely a hard drive problem but not certain. I was trying to find what this error code meant and havent any luck yet so I thought I would try and post here. If I could find the error codes it woul dbe helpful. But if you have any ideas please help me out.
I have had session lock up where I can not do anything but move the mouse, totally frozen sessions, as well as boot ups.
One of the things I did earlier was run the TechTools System Tools that came with my Imac. It said everything was fine. So confused with what is wrong.

For an iMac 24 inch (Early 2008) 3.06 GHz machine, the 4MOT error code* indicates a fan issue, and recommends that a technician…
• shut down, the power back on and retest the machine
• verify that the fan speed indicator is not a zero value (yours is reporting a 3)
Without special tools and substantial experience, and because doing so would require opening your machine and thereby invalidating its existing warranty, they indicate that a technician should…
• verify that the fan blades are not obstructed by cables, tape or other obstacles
• verify that the fans are properly connected to the logic board and rotate when the machine is started
• if the problem persists, replace the fans and retest the machine
• if it still persists, replace the logic board
While HDD is a commonly used abbreviation for hard disk or hard drive, there is no Apple Hardware Test error indicator for a hard drive for this particular platform, and yours does not relate to one based upon that AHT result. While there may be a sensor issue in play, AHT does not report a sensor issue in your case.
You may wish to run the SMART diagnostics against your drive to see if it indicates an impending failure, but what you report is limited strictly to fan operation. You should take your covered machine into a dealer or service provider in order to have it tested and repaired under warranty.
*NOTE: these error codes are often non-unique, and can mean very different things from one model series to another, and—within one product family—from one specific machine type to another.

Help with HardwareTest error code - 2GMC/3/13 :Built-In

I have an IMac 20" 2.0ghz G5 PPC
I'm not sure if it qualifies for the repair programme,
my mac has an EMC number 2056 and often freezes when waking up or trying to goto sleep.
hardware test in normal mode runs through ok but in extended mode always finds this error 2GMC/3/13 :Built-In
any help greatly appreciated.

Whether additional things are done by Apple is outside of the scope of knowledge of anyone here posting to the group who can say without breaking their non-disclosure agreements, unless you see someone here with the official Apple logos asking for questions to be answered. Need Help with Java error code:

I just installed an update suggested by my computer :( and now when I try to access different areas of sites I visit I get the following error:
"several java virtual machine running in the same process caused an error"
Can someone please help me undo this...I am very frustrated!

Your problem may be:
The Microsoft Java JVM that comes with some versions of the OS is earlier on the PATH (Look inside the WINDOWS directory)
You may have several other JVMs on your PATH due to various server installations.... Oracle has one! Sybase has one, so do many other such RDBMSs.
Your "Browser Plugin" may install one.
You may have installed a couple.
You may not have JAVA_HOME set so its checking the PATH
I know what you may be thinking now... how in the world do I find them all?
Examine the output of the commandline call:
dir \java.exe -s

The screen shot you sent is the dsn dailog box.
You need to create DSN first to create odbc connectivity
Go through the steps as written below.
1) Start=> Programme => Control Panel => Administrative Tools => ODBC Panel.
2) Select System tab and click on add tab.
3)Once you click add you will get drivers list select oracle driver .
4)provide dsn name and further information .
and now start the process of connectivity in that box you will get the name you given select that and
make connectivity.

Newest update to Firefox Crashes with BEX error code

Updated Firefox to newest version. Upon restarting Firefox it crashes with BEX error code. Deactivated all anti-spyware, removed all traces of Firefox and did a new re-install, and tried to open in Safe Mode but it still crashes upon start with same error code. (Firefox only runs on initial install but upon restart always crashes) Attempted to find an older version of firefox but can not find older version. I do not see any help related to the severity of my crashes. How do you fix the BEX crash?

When you started in Safe Mode*, did you get the Safe Mode dialog or Firefox never got that far? Did you ever get to your home page?
BEX = Buffer Overflow Exception or Data Execution Prevention (DEP) exception. DEP is a security feature that seeks to prevent exploits that inject program code into Windows memory. Firefox doesn't trigger this error on its own, but add-ons or external programs that tweak Firefox might.
Are you using any special configurations to run Firefox, such as virtual machines or sandboxing?
If not, it sound suspicious. You may want to run some supplemental scans. These two tools are highly regarded:
