Help with nextbook tablet

I cannot install adobe flash player on my new nextbook 8" tablet. I was able to play you tube videos because I had a player, and now I can't. is there an app or anyway to install flash player?

OK, you tube is playing, but with out adobe flash player I can't play online videos from TV websites.

Help with dumb tablet

So i had problems with my tablet with charging and sent it in they sent me a refurb ( cheap f**ks) and now its doing the same thing i have to shove the wire deep in. Anyways when i connect the tablet to the computer it does not charge it just says plugged in and also desktop manager doesnt recognize it please help im going nuts

Is the USB lead an original Blackberry lead? If not, it will almost certainally cause problems with Desktop Manager. Also, it will not charge from the PC USB port but an exclamation mark informing you of this will appear in the top left corner of the PB.
Not sure why your BB9900 is not working with full backup, mine works perfectly and creates a folder called Blackberry in the 'My Pictures' folder (windows 7 x64).

Help with Bamboo tablet

My Bamboo tablet that is pressure sensetive is not working as pressure sensetive in my recently downloaded photoshop, but every where else pressure sensetivity works just fine what do i do i really need this to work

Can you please provide us more information? What is the 'recently downloaded photoshop' version? CS6?
If it is, have you installed all available updates to it? The current Photoshop version is 13.0.1.
Can you go to Help > System Info and paste that data here to help us analyse?

Help with x200 tablet

Hello, I was recently given a x200 tablet and was told that the screen supported both touch and stylus input. So far however I have only managed to get a response from the stylus.
I'm running windows 7, Is there something that I'm missing or does this device only support the stylus?

Hi! I would first check if you indeed have a model that supports multitouch. Please go here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/partsLookup.page
You'll then need to enter your machine type, which is a 4 digit code on the bottom of the laptop. Then enter the serial number (located right from the model type, it says something like S/N xxxxxx) and you will get a list of the components installed on your X200T. Try to identify the screen and post the resuts here.

NEED HELP with Keyboard for Yoga 2 Android Tablet

I have just spent more than an hour talking with Lenovo Sales/Customer Service tying to find out why the Yoga tablet I bought my son for Christmas doesn't have a keyboard (I purchased the tablet directly from Lenovo).

I called sales 4 times and each time I get a different answer: they are out of the keyboard, buy the keyboard from BestBusy or Amazon, there is no keyboard (even though it is pictured), it will have a keyboard but no one knows when.
I did buy the keyboard I was told by a chat with Lenovo from Amazon but it is not the correct keyboard and now I'm stuck with a tablet without a keyboard and keyboard without a tablet.
Customer Service won't help saying it's a sales problem and Sales says there is nothing they can do and transfers me to Customer Service. It is infuriating.
My son is so dissappinted. He only wanted this tablet because it came with a keyboard (we thought) and he can use it at school. We will likely return the tablet if it was misrepresented on the Lenovo webiste.
Does anyone know if and when the keyboard will be available?

The keyboard is also supposed to be a cover s seen in the photos. We bought the tablet because it clearly shows a keyboard case if not included at least available.
I was willing to purchase the keyboard cover but first Lenovo sales said they were out and said to purchase the keyboard (also Lenovo) at BestBuy instead but it turned out to be the wrong keyboard (not the one in the picture - too big, falls off and likely to break). Then I was told by someone else in customer service there was no keyboard and the picture is of the prototype. Then I was told by someone else in sales that there may be one coming out in the future but no one knows when and how much it will be.
Today I had to spend more than an hour being bounced around and not getting an answer. We really want the keyboard as shown in the picture. Unfortunately because we thought the folks in sales knew about the tablet, we bought the wrong keyboard at their instruction and now it can't be returned.

This is a user supported frum, so making threats really doesn't help, besides which it's not like any of us can really make a dent in Toshiba's bottom line despite how many people we think we can influence. Unless those people were standing in line to buy a Toshiba product cash in hand, and you pulled them out, it really doesn't add up for them.
At this point it would probably be better for you to use the 800 number. Have all your e-mails ready to forward, if needed, to whoever you end up talking to. Don;t let them off the hook. An hour on the phone is much better than weeks passing e-mails through a support site. Also contest the charge with your bank or credit card.

Cannot make a mark with my tablet

Hello... I'm using CS4/Illustrator and for some reason, I can no longer make a "lasting" mark whenever I use my tablet. (I'm using a Bamboo Wacom).
I used to be able to to this, but now I can't... I was drawing with my tablet when all of a sudden, it stopped marking my marks... so I'm assuming I accidently pressed some kind of option that I can't figure out how to undo.

Once when my pen leaves the tablet, the mark goes away... (also that yellow-lined background was not there before...)... and another thing that may or may not help... whenever I "let go" or lift my pen away from my tablet, a different tool is automatically selected for me.
Anyone know what I did and how I may be able to fix it? I'm going to try resetting my Illustrator preferences and re-installing my tablet, but as this happened so suddenly, I really think that I may have pressed an option that I didn't mean to...

Colors are overlapping when drawing with a tablet...

I apologize for the bad headline.
My problem is easy. When coloring something with my tablet, the colors are overlapping as hell but ONLY when I release the pen and then color again, over it.
The problem with that is, that I cannot go back once the pen is released and get a even~ish color. It is almost like I get the multiply-effect even though neither the layer nor the pen is set to that option.

This picture shows the overlapping. It is way to dark, and it doesn't get this dark when I go back and the pen was not released. Only, when I release the pen and then go back. It doesn't get this dark, at all, in other programs like Paintool Sai and more.

My advice would be to learn a little more about Illustrator. Once you do, the tablet will work more like you're expecting. For instance, I would look up in the Help files or in a book how the brush and pencil tools function. Different settings in different places will spare you the surprise of ever-changing lines as you draw them. You'll probably also want to know how to draw open and closed paths if you hope to fill your drawings with color.
On the other hand, drawing on paper is a treat that you'll not really be able to replicate on computer. Even with a tablet. Doesn't feel the same, doesn't sound the same, doesn't smell the same. Doesn't even look the same.

Help With Pen in Photoshop?

I just started using photoshop, but whenever I start to draw with my tablet or put down the pen on the canvas a little window pops up with all the brushes and settings as if I right clicked with my mouse.
I've tried changing this with my pen settings but nothing is working. I'm getting really frustrated. Please help?

Double check all the settings in the pen/tablet driver -- it sounds like the pen down has been set to right click instead of doing a mouse down event. Photoshop just recognizes the events from the OS/drivers - but the driver determines what the pen will send to the OS and applications.

Need some help with my xorg.conf My screen "flickers".

I've tried that xorg in both kubuntu&Arch.
It worked in kubuntu but not in Arch.
I've tried alot of media players and both intel&vesa drivers.
Tried Xgl (don't know if it's working) but there is no change.
Maybe if the codecs are bad of the way the media players handles the files.
I need help with this. Or else I can't live with arch.

Trouble using Photoshop CC with Surface Tablet with Pen input.

I installed Creative Cloud in my Windows Surface Pro 8.1 Tablet. The software works well, but I am unable to use Photoshop with the pen input device provided with the tablet. I'm trying to draw freehand using the Pencil command in Photoshop, but the pen only draws diagonal lines from the left edge of the drawing. This does not happen when I use the computer's mouse, with which I can draw freehand as usual, no problem. The pen device also works well with Adobe Illustrator. I installed all the available updates. I would appreciate any help.

There are supposed to be new software announcements tomorrow... I'd watch to see whether what you're hoping to do will be better supported.

Help with Pogo

Recently my Java hasn't been working properly. I have followed the directions on the Pogo website to clear the cache, check proxy, update and uninstall Java, and update browser. I am able to play some games but certain ones come up with the chat working but the game screen is black. Or I can play the game but the images are not all there or are really messed up.
I have tried to ask a question on the EA website and Pogo but they just redirect me to an question and answer that is similar but is no help to me.
I would appreciate any help with this problem. Thank you inadvance.

I have tried every browser that I could download for the Thrive, which is about 7 of them, and none work with Pogo.
The reason I use the Thrive to play Pogo Games is I dont always have the PC with me, and I take the Thrive on my lunch breaks and place where I dont wish to haul the computer to. The Thrive loads the Pogo Games just fine, and I have used a Remote Desktop for the Thrive which allows me to run Pogo right off my computer via the wifi from anywhere that I have a wifi connection, so thats great, however if other Android tablets run Pogo without a problem I feel my Thrive should do so as well, it was advertised to play flash enabled, and java games. The Xoom and the Asus Transformer both do it , I tried it at the local electronics store...
