Help with notes

So ive got an Iphone 3G 8gig and I can't seem to sync my notes from my phone to my dell with windows 7. I keep finding that Outlook express is needed to sync my notes however im getting a message that outlook is not compatable with windows 7??? any advise??

Outlook "Express" doesn't have notes. "Outlook" from Office does. Outlook Express has been discontinued as you noticed.

Help with notes that disappear from IPad and iPhone?

Help! My notes on the iPad keep disappearing from my IPad then from my iPhone. The notes are showing in yahoo ok. I type my notes and then they are there for a short while then disappear. I share one apple account with my husband so we do not use the iCloud for notes so that we keep them separate. On his IPad when you go to settings/notes he can then show under default yahoo, iCloud and on my IPad. On my IPad it just shows yahoo under default. How can I sort this? Use to work fine before the upgrade.

First check that all your settings are correct, that notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the notes you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device, or the left side panel in mail on a computer), non iCloud notes will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your notes are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing.

Help with Note cards?? I thought I could do them with this program...

Help! I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 back in September, but due to computer problems and working on other projects, I just got started using it. Or at least I'm trying to!
My main (read: pretty well ONLY) reason for purchasing was that I thought I could make note cards (photo on front, folded, like a blank card, but with one of my photos on the front) for personal use and Christmas gift for my aunt who writes a lot of notes. I really wanted to create a special gift for her, as well as unique cards for my own use.
But when I open the program and click "Create" all I see is Greeting Cards! And when I click on it, I don't see anything like what I want to create! Help! Is there any way to create this type of card with this program? Or at least close? I would really appreciate ANY and ALL help!!!

You can try going to finder, hitting CMD + F and below search this mac, you should see kind. You can try switching that contents and the second option to documents.

Need Help with "Not Enough Memory Error" when running executable (is my VI reworkable?)

When I started making this VI, I had no clue about proper VI flow, sub-VI usuage, and much more I'm sure.
The VI is a program that outputs a 0-5V digiatl signal to a relay board (to actuate an air cylinder) and monitors 4 input voltages (lets say from a pressure transducer) . The program would then shut down the corresponding output channel if a pressure threshold is not met.
Surprissingly for my first LV program, The VI functions "fine" (the quotes are because I know my programming flow is a mess and probably not efficient) unitl I reach a given cycle count or time elasped, at which time my VI blows up and I receive an error for "not enough memory to complete operatoin".
I am wondering if there is a simple DAQmx (or something else) command misplaced or missing that would solve this issue. When I started making this VI I had a poor top down design layout, or lack of one. I would like to believe I have learned a lot from making this program with no LV training and if I were to do it again I would utilize state machines and sub VI's more. However, with time not on my side and LV not a priority in my job I would like to know if this VI is reworkable..?
I should also mention that this program is being run as an executable on a laptop without the full LV development software. I dont know if the executable creation process could have left to this problem either...

There are some things you can probabaly do fairly easily. Four of the inner while loops appear to be very similar. You could probably make a subVI from one of them and reuse the code. Some of the shift registers are initialized and some are not. I suspect that this is an error, although I did not look closely enough to determine which way is intended. Read up on reentrancy. You may need that for the subVI.
The outer loop, if it is needed at all should be stopped by a front panel boolean, not by the Abort button. Someone on the Forums has suggested that using the Abort button to stop a VI is like using a tree to stop a car - it works but may have undesirable consequences!
Re-initializing the DAQ tasks and clearing them on each iteration is not very effficient, is slow, and may lead to problems.
The inner inner while loops (inside On Cycle and Off Cycle) are very similar, differing mostly in the data written. Perhaps you only need Idle and Run (with Data as a parameter). The inner inner loops might be combined with the outer loops with some change in the way the timing is handled.
You Dequeue in two places in each loop. There is no data dependency bewteen the two Dequeue functions, meaning that you cannot be sure which will execute first. Also, none of the Dequeues has a timeout set. They will wait forever if no data is available. Queues should not usually be read in more than one location to avoid loss of data or confusion about which data came first.

Help with Note 761637 - Login restrictions prevent TMSADM logon

I'm receviing a large number of logon prompts in STMS. I'm having trouble understanding how to implement SAP note 761637 and was hoping someone that had implemented it already could guide me.
The note says
If you now add an entry with sysnam=,ADMPWD and the Routestring=USER to the TMSCROUTE table
The fields in the table are sysnam & RFCRoute (This has description of RouteString)
When I attempt to add a entry using SE16, SYSNAM as a selecting list on only the systems I have, why does the note tell me to enter the admpwd which I assume is short for admin password.
routestring=USER. So I enter the word USER?
I have implemented the following corrections
Note 713622 - Password rules prevent TMSADM logon
Note 749977 - Remote logons using standard client in the TMS

OK, I'm having the same problems understanding this note as the original poster did. I can't figure out if table TMSCROUTE is supposed to contain an entry like:
,ADMPWD USER
-or--
,<TheActualPassword> TMSADM@<sid>.<domain>
-or--
some other weird variant?
Can someone who's implemented 'stringent' passwords post and example of their working TMSCROUTE entry? Meanwhile, I'll file a problem report, and when we get this working I'll post a response here.

About to panic! need urgent help with Notes!!!

I had this huge collection of very important notes which are now all gone thanks to a bug in Mountain Lion!
The notes app in mountain lion was showing two copies of each note. So i disabled the icloud notes from system preferance. now i could see only 1 copy of each note in the notes app. thinking that these were locally stored, i deleted them all and then reeneable icloud notes. to my horror, all notes were gone!!!! they have been wiped off from my iphone and ipad as well.
IM ABOUT TO PANIC! PLEASE HELP ME RETRIEVE THEM! THIS WAS IMPORTANT STUFF!!!!

Hello i got monitor LA 2306v and when i want use "timer" option in Hp Display Assistant it doesn't work "sheduler" options fork perfect but "timer" one at all :/ Using Windows Vista home premium and got newest version of Hp Display Assistant.

Just splashed out $25 on the Zen edition of Notmad Explorer (which is really great value, by the way - so much better than Mediasource etc )
Anyway, what I would like to know is this: is there a way of sorting playlists on the player into alphabetical track order? I know you can right click on the playlist in Notmad and click 'sort', but that sorts by artist, then album, then tracknumber, but I can't find a way of putting all the tracks in the list in purely alphabetical order (ie. splitting up artists and tracks).

Ok, it looks like you can do this, but have to transfer from zen to pc all over again once you reset the paramenters...however, future file transfers will follow this custom.
"The display format of the "Name" column can be fully customized. Go to the "Jukebox" tab in the Configuration dialog. Here you can define a template string that tells Notmad exactly how you would like it to construct the display name from the available tag information. You simply type out a string of text into which you can embed various "tokens" which will be replaced with the appropriate tag data for each file. The tokens recognized by Notmad are:
* %A - Artist
* %L - Album
* %N - Track Number
* %T - Track Title
* %C - Codec, or filetype extension (mp3, wma, or wav)
* %Y - Year
* %G - Genre
The default puts %A first, so if you swap the %A for %T (and visa versa) and and then upload it all back to the library, it should work. I didn't try it, cause i don't care but i suggest uploading to a different directory than your current library and , if it works, you can then replace your current library file.

Help with not visible folders in app iFiles

I have a strange probleme: connecting my iPad to the PC and startin iTunes, I checked the documents present into the app iFiles.
Among this documents there is a folder called "inbox" containing a 2.9Gb mp4 file that i want to delete.
The problem is that the folder is only visible in itunes on the PC and not directly on the iPad and that it seems not possible to delete it in iTunes.
Is I click on the folder in the documents list in itunes and press the button canc un the pc keybord, iTunes ask me if I am sure to delete the folder, I click yes but the folder remain in place.
It is a big prolem because I need to free that memory space.

Help with 'not a single-group group function' error

I have the following statement which gives me that error and don't know what's wrong.

The statement was working and I added:
+(sum(stat)/count(distinct BUDGET_CODE))
which works in a separate statement of its own. Any help is appreciated.

Although, if you're doing a count on BUDGET_CODE while at the same time grouping by that same field, you'll always get a 1 back from count() in this query, so you may need to modify that anyway.

I have been syncing calendar and contacts on my iPhone 5 and Outlook 2007 using iCloud 2.1.3 (my PC is running Vista). All was well until the events I entered on the phone were showing up in Outlook, but not the other way around. I’ve tried the usual recommended steps: deselecting calendar and contacts in the iCloud control panel and then re-selecting, signing out of the panel and back in, and repairing the Outlook installation in control panel. I even uninstalled iCloud on the PC and downloaded it again (same version).
The furthest I’ve gotten is step 2 (and once, step 3) of 7 while performing “Outlook Setup For iCloud.” At that point I get, “Your setup couldn’t be started because of an unexpected error.” After the first attempt at all this, all my calendar events disappeared from Outlook, although they are still in iCloud calendar and on my phone.
Sound familiar? Any ideas on how to solve this iCloud/Outlook issue? Thanks much in advance!

Hi,
To configure your ODBC DataSource, go to Control Panel ---> DataSources(ODBC) (If you are in a Windows environment).
Select the tab System DSN. If you have not added your data source, then do so by clicking on the Add button. If you have added the datasource, click on the Configure button to configure it.
Give the datasource name, then the database name.
You have to give the hostname, service name and server name. I guess, in most cases, the datasource name and host name will be the same, service name and server name will be the same. If you are using TCP/IP, the protocol will be onsoctcp.
There will be a file named Services under C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc where you have to give the port number for accessing this server.
It will be like this <service name> <portnumber>/tcp

Need help with creating template. Changes are not going through to index.html page

Hi all,
I have an issue with my template that I am creating and also a question about creating template Regions (Repeating and Editable).
Somehow my changes to my index.dwt are not changing my index.html page.
Also my other question is: For my top navigation bar and left navigation bar links, do I need to select and define each individual button or link as Repeating/Editable Region? or can I just select the whole navigation bar (the one on the top) etc...
Below are my steps for creating my template...I am kinda fairly new to using DW and this is my first attempt to making a template following the DW tutorial CD that came with DW CS3.

-File/save as template
-Save
-update links - yes
-Select Repeating and Editable Regions (I selected the whole top navigation bar and selected Repeating Region and Editable Region, same with the left side navigation links)
-File close all
-Open the index.dwt
-Save as and selected the index.html and chose to overide it..
When I make changes to my index.dwt it is not changing the index.html
I feel that I am missing some important steps here.....

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created.
