HELP with photo attacments on email on my IPHONE 4s

I just recently upgraded to iOS5.0.1 ON MY IPHONE 4s and since then, i am having problems with attachments on email messages. I send an email to my @yahoo account, so that i can view it on my iphone 4s. I want to be able to save it on the phone as a photo and or use it for my wall paper.In the email, it first shows the icon to click to download, i click it and i see the download go through, but then i cannot find the pic anywhere on the iPhone (not in Photos, not in Camera Roll) AND the email now shows the "?" where the attachment link was. Any help out there for this?

I have the same problem. I have tried selectively quitting the Videos app and restarting, to no avail. Rebooting phone does not solve it either.
In addition, I have one movie, which played perfectly on my iPhone 4, but which does not play beyond a certain point. It crashes the Videos app.
(iPhone 4S 64GB ATT, now with iOS 5.0.1)

So sign out of the Apple ID under Settings > iTunes & App Store, then sign in with your own.

I would recommend closing any open applications in multitasking and restarting the device. If unfamiliar with multitasking, I have included a screenshot on how to process an application close.

Once these steps are processed, attempt to send the photo again.

Help with photos. iPhone - iCloud - iPhoto - Email ?????

I'm a new mac user. I switched over from Windows. The process of obtaining photos from iCloud on my iMac seems like a big hassle. So inconvenient I can't believe anyone would actually design it this way so maybe I'm just ignorant.
I take a photo with my iPhone.
The photo is uploaded through iCloud and appears in my iPhoto on my iMac.
Now I want to attach the photo to an email in the included mail program.
When I browse for the photo to attach, I look in "Photos" but iPhoto is grayed out. Why?
So what I've been doing is saving the picture to my desktop then attaching it that way.
This seems like a REALLY stupid extra step. What am I doing wrong here?

Is this where you're seeing the grayed out iPhoto in Mail?
Or are you trying to use the Attach button to add a photo?
If the photo is in your iPhoto Library on your Mac then you can select it and click on the Share button at the bottom right of iPhoto
and then on the Mail button in the next window:
and add it to a new email that way.

Need help with Photo Shop CS4

I still have not received an answer so I attached a docutment if that helps. I am suppose to draw the diagram in paths and not each shape on a different layer. My issue is that I can't fill the path with black for some reason. am doing an assignment for school. I'm suppose to create a image using the Pen tool and Shape Layer tool using the Working Path. I am suppose to save one selection from the paths and fill in image with a black hue fill. I have tried saving the working path and tried to fill with black. I did a practice by drawing only a portion of the image. I saved it as a working path and selected fill and I get the promp to fill. Then I hit okay and nothing happens to the image filling in with black. I'm doing something wrong and am fusterated. Any ideas. Your help is appreciated.

Help with Photo Gallery using XML file

I am creating a photo gallery using Spry. I used the Photo Gallery Demo (Photo Gallery Version 2) on the labs.adobe.com website. I was successful in creating my site, and having the layout I want. However I would like to display a caption with each photo that is in the large view.
As this example uses XML, I updated my file to look like this:

Help with photo albums Please

Hi, i really need some help with my pictures, I've only got a very basic understanding of how my phone works and have somehow put a load of albums on my phone when i plugged it into the computer-I want to delete some of them off the phone but cannot work out how to do it, when i plug my phone in i can find the photo tab but cannot actually see the pictures and can't see any delete button!!! Please can someone help me, basic explanations would be gratefully recieved xxxx

The photo sync is one way: computer to phone. To remove photos, synced to your phone, remove the check marks next to the albums/folders under the photos tab in itunes & hit the apply/sync button. They will be removed from your phone. You cannot delete photos that were synced to your phone, directly on your phone. The easiest way to manage photos synced to your phone is to create albums or folders on your computer. Move whatever photos you want on your phone into these albums/folders & then select them under the photos tab in itunes to sync to your phone. You can then remove or add photos to these various albums/folders on your computer & the itunes sync process will update your phone every time you sync.

Need help with Photo Stream

I am having issues with Photo Stream and iPhoto when the iPhoto library is stored on a Drobo NAS. When I access the library stored on the NAS I see Photo Stream on the menu and when I access the library I get a message that tells me I need to switch Photo Stream to this Library. I did select to switch Photo Stream over to this NAS library and I did get a big blue button that is suppose to start Photo Stream but when I push it nothing happens.
I have contacted Apple support and they said that this is the way Photo Stream works and recommended that I submit a request to have this feature added at Apple\Feedback, if it is something I would like to have. They said if enough people request this feature they will add it but that Photo Stream does not currently support an iPhoto library stored on a remote NAS or shared network drive.
My question is has anyone found a work around for this? If you would like to have this feature added to Photo Stream can you please submit your request to Apple so they will add it, perhaps a little sooner than later?

I checked today and this issue has been solved with the latest iPhoto update from Apple. I am running iPhoto 9.2.3 on my Snow Leopard Server which is sharing a Drobo NAS. I am also running iPhoto 9.2.3 on my MBP running Lion and I can now open my iPhoto Library and Photostream will work with the library and even automatically create events and move all my Photostream pictures into these events within the Library. I can then close the Library on my MBP and open the same Library from my Snow Leopard server and the new Events are there and I can move them around with no problem. Thank you Apple for this fix. Even though I cannot deal with Photostream directly from the Snow Leopard server this is a very eligant work around.

IS there a way that I can turn off the flash that happens when i take pictures with photo booth?
I was also wondering if the camera records video?

To disable Photo Booth flash, hold shift while you click.
BTW, holding option disables the seconds countdown. You can use both at once if desired.
Photo Booth 2 that comes with Leopard adds video recording with "effects" and sound. If you do not want to upgrade to Leopard, you can use WebcamTweaker for "effects" videos or any of the apps that can record video or movie clips from this list of Some Applications You Can Use With iSight for video without Photo Booth's "effects."

I think i hit some important key accidentally. something changed. now when i receive photos, they only appear in the message and i have no thumbnails nor a way to download. those same e-mails with photos do fine on the iPad/iPhone, so it is my computer.

"Why is the task so difficult"... It is not.
However if you paste an image in, it is stored in your temp folder. Next time you reboot your operating system it should delete it. Perhaps that is your problem. Most people have no regard for files and think everything works by copy and paste. It does not.
HTML at it's base is not user friendly and windows users in particular have trouble with the concept of a document being made up of a collection of files, which is how HTML works. When you insert your image, make sure to check the box that says "attach this image to the message" otherwise ensure your image file your inserting is on the public internet.
BTW, Thunderbird is a complex and powerful email client. If you want simple, use a web service which does little, but is simple. But In Thunderbird, Outlook.com, Yahoo, and Gmail all will require a HTML signature done exactly the same way as HTML is what powers the internet.

Need help with account sharing and email

I'm an inexperienced Mac user with a G5, dual 2.0 processors and 1.5 meg ram. Just installed iLife 05 and having an iPhoto problem. My spouse and I have separate user accounts on the same pc. We'd like to share our photos with one another (they're actually the same photo's). On my account, iPhoto email is "mail", no problem. On hers it displays Entourage. I can't change it from preferences pane. Greyed out. On my account it shows America on line but the email icon is "mail" Can you help. We both want "mail"
What is the proper way to share this account? Do we check preferences and share or do we go to the User accounts and move the photo library? Please provide a basic explanation to one who is not really familiar with the workings of a Mac. That's why I went to a Mac in the first place. It just generally works.
