Help with Photoshop Print Settings? Please-I need this Before Tommorow!

Omfg, this is driving me up the wall. Does anybody have a solution as to why every single time I try to edit the photoshop page setup settings and click OK, it resets everything I adjusted and replaces it with the defaults.
Somebody, please help me!

Are you looking at the settings for different documents? The print settings are stored with the document now.
So, for example, if you open Document A and change its print settings, they should stay set for Document A.
But, if you then open Document B, you'll see the print settings that were originally saved with Document B.

Need Help with Photoshop Elements 4 PLEASE!!!

I had Photoshop Elements 4 on my compuer and used it primarily to download photos from my digital camera. My computer crashed and I had to have the hard drive reformatted. I attempted to re-install Photoshop Elements 4 from my CD but it won't automatically load or install. I checked the list of files on the CD but there is no setup file on there. I contacted Adobe for help but was told they can't help me as they don't support this product any more. I paid for a product from them and they can't support me just because it's old??? Can anyone PLEASE help me? Thank you.

photoshop 5.0 never had the disk. downloaded on line, new computer with files only, need to re download.

How to turn off cs6 photoshop print settings

i recently installed cs6... from cs5.. i have a canon wide format printer that i am accustomed to using when printing my photos... however NOW when i choose to print, it brings me to a Photoshop print settings dialog box... unfortunately, this dial;og box does not allow me to make certain adjustments my canon print dialog box does allow... so how do i turn off the Photoshop print settings and go back to my canon print settings dialog???
please help asap as i am trying to print a photo at this time....

Peter and JJ... Yes, i have been to that dialog box... however, this still leaves me with a few less options availible to me in the Canon ipf8400 printer PRINT dialog box.... I cant explain what is missing, because i dont have the dialog box open.... what i can say is that this "Photoshop Print Settings" box has NEVER opened before when i had CS^ when i chose to "print" a photo... a little frustrated right now... but i really do appriciate any help...

To apply update, you can go to Help > Updates and there you can see PSE13.1 update.

I think I need help with driver (software) settings for D110a all-in-one

The quality of photo images (mostly JPG files) in printouts is awful even though the files display beautifully on the PC screen. I am using
IrfanView software for displaying/printing. As far as I can tell, IrfanView is not the problem.
When I print the same images on a Deskjet 5150 attached to a different PC also running XP Pro and IrfanView, the quality of the printouts is at
least acceptable, Some would probably say good or very good.
It's dificult to explain in words the problem with the printouts. A picture of really pretty vegetables (squashes, tomatoes, watermelon, etc) comes
out much too red. Moreover, the red, which appears shaded on the screen, seems to be all one shade in the D110a printouts.
Something similar happens to a view of a huge tree in full leaf. On screen, there are subtle variations in the "greenness" of the leaves. In the
printout, all green is the same shade. In the same printout, the trunk of the tree is all a single shade of grey. It isn;t even obvious that the
trunk is a round, solid object.
I liken the effect to audio that disappears entirely when you lower the volume and gets clipped into square waves in even moderately loud passages.
I don't know whether the D110a driver software permits adjusting the parameters that appear to be set incorrectly, and if adjustments are possible,
how I would identify which parameters to adjust, how I would access them, or how I would adjust them. I'm hoping that someone can help. Thanks.

you can't define 2 interfaces the old way (even though I saw some tricky workaround somewhere in the forums).
Use, f.e., netcfg:
Comment your old lines.
In /etc/rc.conf insert:
NETWORKS=(Eth0-dhcp Eth1-static)
DAEMONS=(..... !network @net-profiles ....)
In /etc/network.d create 2 files:
First one is named Eth0-dhcp.
Contents:
CONNECTION="ethernet"
DESCRIPTION="Whatever text"
INTERFACE=eth0
HOSTNAME="your hostname"
IP="dhcp"
DHCP_TIMEOUT=15
Second one is named Eth1-static.
Contents:
CONNECTION='ethernet'
DESCRIPTION='whatver'
INTERFACE='eth1'
HOSTNAME='hname'
IP='static'
ADDR='192.168.0.10'
GATEWAY='192.168.0.1' # your gateway IP
DNS=('192.168.0.1') # your DNS server
The names Eth0-dhcp and Eth1-static are not magic. They just must be the same in rc.conf and in /etc/network.d.

Need help with duplicate print jobs over network that I can't cancel

I have the Photosmart Premium All-in-One on my home network. My kids who each have laptop running Windows 7 and are connected via wireless to the printer via a DLINK DIR-655.
They hit the print button too many times and it keeps printing over and over again.
Is there a way to get the printer to stop printing these duplicates. I tried turning off/on but they just keep printing.
We're wasting paper/ink and I need help with a solution.
Please let me know. Thanks.

There should be a button with a red 'X' on it on the front of the printer. This is the print cancel button.

Photoshop Print Settings - what to use - photos look awful.

I don't know what I did but when I go to print a photo the Photoshop Print Settings pop up. Which is better - Printer manages color or Photoshop? I don't know how to change my Printer Profile. I have search HP for over 3 hours. I have an Officejet Pro 8600 and can't seem to find anywhere to change it. The photoshop print settings the Printer Profile is :sRGB IEC61966-2.1. Under Color Management - Please use Adobe Color Printer Utility if you need to print with No Color Management - also didn't work. The more I do the worse it gets. The prints for instance arms showed dark specks. Look awful. I have an iMac and am using the iMac settings in my color profile in preferences. Any ideas?

I'll go along with that. Use the printer manufacture's software and paper, and you at least have a chance of things working out. I went through years of hassle with various Epson printers, even spending serious money having a custom profile made, but the results were never great, and the Internet showed I was not alone. Since switching to Canon with a Pixma 9000Pro, and using Canon's EasyPhotoPrintPro software, it just works first time every time, so I can thankfully circumvent all that printer profile mylarky. Canon Mp600 will not work when I try to use photoshop print settings since I upgraded to latest Maverick?

I upgraded to latest Maverick . Now when I use PhotoshopC5 my print settings crash every time I even touch the button. My printer is a Canon MP600 and worked with all Photoshop settings until this week. Help!

The last driver that Canon released for the MP600, v10.5.1.2.0, was for Mac OS X 10.7. Since you mention upgrading to Mavericks you could have a driver version earlier than this. You can check by opening Printers & Scanners, selecting the MP600 and then clicking on Options & Supplies. With the General tab selected you will see the driver version.
Now even if you do have the latest version there is no guarantee that it will be compatible with all applications on 10.9, especially the CS5 suite. You could try installing Gutenprint v5.2.9 to get a driver more compatible with the latest OS. Or if colour management is a requirement for Photoshop printing then you may need to purchase Printfab, although since you are using an MP600 then I would assume that you are not overly concerned with colour accuracy. Another option is to export the image from Photoshop as a PDF and then open this in Preview and print from that application.

Help with ordering prints

Can anyone help with ordering prints for Shutterfly? I keep getting to step 4 (payment type) and then it just goes to blank page and nothing happens.

Thanks for your help, I am new to all of this. I think it was my edited pics that were the problem, they were to big of files, I had to go and save them as a new file as a jpeg and then went to shutterfly and downloaded from there. I never could get it to work from Photoshop Elem.

Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’. 1. Is there a relationship between Elements and My Pictures and is Elements dependant on the Windows ‘My Pictures’? 2. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more? Is there something I need to do to stop this or an easy way I can remove the multiples without spending hours doing it manually one by one? Am I doing something wrong? My O/S is Windows XP SP2 and windows Vista on my Laptop. I have been using Elements 5 and have just purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0. (Upgrade) and about to install it. Be grateful for any advice as I do enjoy using the program if only I can resolve this issue. I am not a PC wiz and mainly use Elements to catalogue photos from which I compile collections and from them slide shows with music. The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

Thanks for the help Niel. I couldn't change the rescue email address (an address that no longer exists and is therefore useless) until I could correctly answer the security questions. After numerous guesses, finally got them right. Was then presented with the option to change the rescue email address. Guess the only other option was to have Apple Support make the change or reset my account info. Have made note of the correct answers so this won't happen again. Thanks for the fast response!!

CS6 Photoshop Print Settings- Problem w/1/2" borders

I have started to have probelms with the printing pictures using the CS6 Print Settings box.
After I have selected all the appropriate Printer setups and set the Print size to 8.5x11 both in Printer Setting and in the CS6Scaled Print Size box I get the below Print Preview.
Both when I manually enter Scale,H&W and when I check the "Scale to fit Media Box".
It leaves the top and bottom with a 1/2" white border at top/bottom as seen below.
Any advice would be welcome.

There may be a interaction between your Printer Driver Settings and your Photoshop Print settings. May depend on your OS and Printer Drivers. I'm on a Windows 7 PC with Epson 4800 Printer. I opened a new black document set to be 8.5" by 11" at 300 DPI. I did some screen captures of Photoshop Print Dialog where I used the Printer setting button to set different printer setting so you can see the effect they have on Photoshop's Print Dialog. I have Photoshop manager the colors and turn off the printer color management. So basically all I use the printer setting for it to turn off color management and to set Paper options.
Capture 1 Paper Tray 8.5" x 11" Portrait Standard Print Area
Capture 2 Paper Tray 8.5" x 11" Portrait Maximum Print Area
Capture 3 Paper Tray 8.5" x 11" Portrait Borderless option note the paper in Photoshop's print dialog in no longer 8.5" x 11"
Capture 4 RollPaper Paper Sized define 8.51" x 11.1" Printer Borderless option With this paper size set in the printer Photoshop's print dialog shoes 8.5" x 11"
One more capture with Paper Tray 8.5" x 11" Paper Print area maximum not borderless with printer scaling the image to 100% of 8.5" x 11" in printer setting note this look like borderless option with roll paper set to 8.51" x 11.1"
As you see the Photoshop Dialog changes after the Printer setting are changed using the printer setting buttons.
However your screen capture look more like a mismatch of Aspect Ratios. The print dialog shows portrait paper and your image windows shows a almost square aspect ratio the aspect ratio difference between your image and your paper is causing your white boarders. Your image is more square then portrait. So when its width is scaled to 8.5" wide some 229% the same percentage of the height does not reach 11". Aspect Ratio you must not forget about you Images Aspect ratio and your paper aspect ration you do not want to distort you image to fill the paper so crop you image to your Paper aspect ratio if you want a boarderless print.
