Help with printing photos on photo print paper with Desk-jet 3050A

Hello I am in need of some advise regarding my desk-jet 3050A printer, the problem is that I cant seem to print pictures on to my glossy photo print paper; I can print pictures onto standard A4 plain paper but the pixels have blurred slightly.
I cant seem to find any accurate advise regarding which photo printer paper is compatible with my printer and how to actually print a picture onto both plain paper/photo paper at a good quality, any help would be appreciated, let me know if you need anymore information. Thanks

I can't help with your color proplem -- don't know the printer -- but you can use a script to impose your booklet in a new file, then export that to PDF.
The two I use are by Dave Saunders. The first, http://pdsassoc.com/downloads/Buildbooklet.zip merely shuffles the pages in a new file. You then export that as spreads. It's very fast and easy, but cannot handle objects that cross the spine.
The second is at Dave's CS3 Booklet Script and works by placing pages into a new spread-size document. This one does do cross-spine objects, but neither one handles creep. It's been awhile since I used either, but I think bleeds may be an issue for the second script, too.
There are also imposing plugins for Acrobat...

I can't find an Arris router with that model number, are you sure it is not a TG862?
Regardless, Arris routers are known to either be incompatible with Bonjour or have problems with Bonjour packets hence Airprint will not work. Check with Arris' website and see if there is a firmware update availble for your router for Bonjour/Airprint compatibility and install it or switch out your router.

RG1 printing format for A4 size paper with all records

Your subject title mentions A4 sized paper, the body mentions US Letter size.
Assuming you want one half of a letter-size for each page, create the page size as portrait, 5.5" wide, 8.5" tall.
Thread in logical order, page 1 through...how many ever pages. You should have a page count evenly divisible by 4.
Export to PDF as normal...single pages.
Open the PDF in Acrobat or Reader, print the booklet from it.

How can i get a printer driver for my HP desk jet 3050a for mountain lion

I just bought HP deskjet printer for my son 3050 seriers and how we cant print. We need a driver to support mountain lion 10.8 and at the HP website they have up to 10.7. help please.

I have the HP 3050A and I have just updated to ML. One of the first things I tried was printing/scanning, works OK, I presume ML includes the correct drivers if you already have it working in Lion.
Sorry cannot give more information other than that it worked for me.

Print problems with my Photosmart D5360 in a network with Windows 7

My printer is installed on my desktop PC that runs on vista.
I have two notebooks too.
One is running on vista, the other runs on windows 7.
They are all connected in a wireless home network that seems to be perfectly ok.
With the notebook on vista I can perfectly print via the wireless network, but with the notebook that runs on windows 7 it is not possible to print. The Notebook gives no failure message and the printer just gives a blank paper with a "paper failure" message on the printer.
It seems to be a network problem or a mismatch between vista and windows 7.
Is there somebody who can help me with this issue?

First of thank you very much for your reply.
May be I was not clear enough in miy explenation.
My photosmart D5360 is connected to my desktop PC with USB.
So it is not a networkprinter.
When I connect the notebook that runs on windows 7 directly to the printer with a USB connection than there is no problem, it prints perfectly. In this situation I use the printdriver for Windows 7 that I installed a few days ago on the notebook itselve.
So I have the latest drivers on all my computers.
However, when I want to print via the wireless home network and so via the desktop PC to which my printer is connected, I have to use the printdriver that is installed on my desktop PC (or not??) that runs with Vista. In this case it won't print.
My desktop PC doesn't allow to install a driver for Windows 7 because it runs on vista. And on my notebook thatruns on windows 7 I can't reach the printdriver instaaled on the desktop PC that I use to print wireless.
Maybe I am a bit clumsy with these things because my knowledge of networks is very basic I'm afraid.
The second link you gave me is in my opinion not useful for my situation? Or am I wrong?

Unfortunately the j610a does not have ePrint or AirPrint capabilities. You will be unable to print to this printer from your iPad for the time being. We are coming out with an app called HP ePrint Home and Biz soon that will allow you to print from your iPad in a limited capacity but if you want the full functionality of AirPrint you would need an ePrint enabled printer.

I have a very serious problem. I've tried so many settings and configurations without success.
Very simple. I cannot choose the photo tray in any way and I cannot print on photo paper.
I get everything on A4 format.
The printer is working fine wih other software (e.g. HP studio).
I can't believe I'm the only one.

Hi,
I came across such issues using AirPrint from Mac OS.. probably an Airprint bug.
Go to Print & Scan and click the plus sign.
From the extended add a printer dialog select the Photosmart 7520.
Open the Use drop-down and select the HP Photosmart 7520 from teh list (Instead the default AirPrint option)
Additionally from the iPhoto print dialog click Print, the OS print dialog will appear.
Set the Paper Source as Photo Tray under the Paper Type/Quality menu.

Printing on HP 4x6 Photo Paper with HP 8620/8625 printer

How do you print pictures on 4x6 HP Photopaper using the HP8620 printer? I can't believe there are no instructions in the 30 language manual the comes with it. I've loaded the paper with the shiney side down, the paper feeds, but I get "Paper type Mismatch" error.
Right now I'm trying to print with Picasa. I had no problem on my HP C309g printer.

Good news, you can "add" a form for the 4X6 or 4X6.5 (tabbed) paper size.
The basic instructions are already available for the printer, though not where you'd expect:
Create Custom Paper Sizes in Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X
I created a new 4X6.5in form so I could use my 4X6 inch tabbed photo paper in my new printer. The printer was throwing "paper mismatch" errors at the 4X6 form.

Cannot Print to 5x7 Photo Paper with iPhoto

I just bought my first iMac and hooked it up to my Epson 730 Artison printer, which is designed to work with Apple products. Whenever I print a photo it always prints to the 8.5x11 inch paper instead of the photo paper, which is located above the 8.5x11 inch paper. This happens even when I select the 5x7 inch paper size and select glossy photo paper in iPhoto. In fact, it does not matter what combination of options I select from iPhoto in terms of the print options, it just prints it to 8.5x11 no matter what.
Is there some way to make iPhoto print to the size of paper that I choose with Epson products? There are two sizes of paper which can be loaded in the tray at the same time, in case you haven't seen one.
(Tearing hair out after an entire evening wasted trying to print one 5x7 glossy photo.)

I'm so embarrassed. The reason I was having trouble printing is because I did not install the latest print driver from Epson for Mountain Lion 10.8.1. I thought of this in the shower and tried it and now everything is fine.
I hope I didn't send anybody on a wild goose chase.

First-timer on this...Just updated my printer which was less than one year old, to one which had Air Print capabilities. This one is the Epson XP605 which has two trays, one being for photos. Each time I tried to Air Print a photo, it printed from the A4 plain paper tray instead of the Photo Tray.Twice...then I came into my study and changed the printer settings to Tray 1 (photo tray) Photo paper, size 5x7 and Photo Best, but still it printed on plain A 4 paper. Would be most grateful for any help, although I did read on one Apple site that AirPrint may not be able to choose trays!!!! "may not"?? Thanks

I just figured out the print quality issue for my wife with her new iMac and new printer.
She replaced both at once and she couldn't understand why her Artisan 730 was lower quality then her Epson R280 when they had the same specs.
Turns out the newer printer had the option to connect via wifi which we used during setup.
The driver options are completely different depending on how you connect.
Once I connected via USB the correct options were available and the print quality was better.
Looking at the R2400 it dies not have wifi, but while researching the problem for my wife someone esle was having an issue updating to the latest printer driver.
If you go into the print utility from the Printer and Scanner system preference and under the general tab you should have driver 5.5.
One user had to delete the old printer driver before Software Update loaded the newer printer driver.

On my MacBook Pro (w Snow Leopard) I always had to reconnect my wifi at home when it woke up. I upgraded my router from an old Netgear to a newer N D-Link and stopped having to do that.
I would be surprised you would have that problem with an Airport Extreme, you might check to see if there is a firmware update for it.

PAPER TRAY SUCKS. CANNOT PRINT OUT PHOTOS, TRAY ONLY ACCEPTS PAPER FROM BOTTOM TRAY. GRRRR.

My BRAND NEW (One week from delivery) no longer prints out photos. It printed out photos several times but 3 days' ago it stopped.
The paper tray is malfunctioning. Each time I try to print out a photo (remember, it's been done several times until a few days' ago) THE TRAY WILL NOT ACCEPT PAPER FROM THE TOP TRAY!!

Help - photos are not printing from photo tray uToshiba Laptop

I just got a new toshiba satellite laptop and when I try to print photos using the glossy photo paper in the photo tray, it keeps pulling from the regular paper tray. I have tried selecting all kinds of the HP paper, but it still prints out on regular paper. I also have a desktop and I have the exact same settings as that and the desktop pulls from the photo tray but the laptop doesn't. Can anyone help?

If you are unable to print photos, the first thing that comes to mind is that you have the wrong tray selected. I would start with Solution 4 of this document for a walk-through on how to setup the photo tray. I know you are not experiencing an out of paper error message but it covers all of the steps you would take to print to the photo tray. This printer has ePrint. Have you set that up yet? I am curious because I want you to try to email the printer an attachment of your photo because ePrint photos default to 4x6 and go straight to the paper tray. This test will narrow down to if this is a printer problem or a setting in your computer. Read through that link and let me know if it helps or not. If not, how is the printer connected to the computer and what kind of computer are you using?
