Help with PSE12 after download

I started with a free trial and than bought PSE12 had a IT guy install it cause after i bought it I could never find a place to put my serial number. He had all kind of trouble so he installed the trial to save all my stuff used the dvd and reinstalled the purchesed program now I am have issues with when I go from organizer to editor it is telling me that a sign in is required and when I try it says that I am not connected to the internet or that my clock is wrong, neither is the case. Also my computer is running like a race car whenever I go into PSE. I am afraid it will crash and I need it for my photo shoots. I tried tech help today and got this < tell the IT admin to give you admin access and than try launching the application again. I tried all that he said to do c/windows/systems32/drivers/etc and try to relaunch. But PSE was not there to relaunch. So now what. I am afraid my computer is going to crash it runs like a race horse when I am in PSE and it never did that when I was in the free trial.

We tried to do this in the beginning but could not find where to put the # so my friend copied everything and uninstalled the trial than loaded everything back with the cd. He does IT for a living and usually fixes everything but this ..I am taking it it stAples because I do not want to embaress him. He charged me nothing.. What a mess

There's just a thing that pops up and says that in order to activate banners and push notifications I have to connect the app with iTunes. The thing won't go away no matter how many times I push ok, and it doesn't give me another option. Solutions?

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Still need help with flash player download

I'm still having a problem with the flash player, please read my last post below:
"I've tried everything here & still can't download the flash player. Anytime I try to download it asks me to install ADM add-on and then when I click on that, my computer freezes. How do I enable this add-on without my computer freezing? Can anyone help pls?"

Can anyone help with my Xcode issue? I downloaded it the other day but it is currently stuck saying waiting. I found this advice online http://scheyeniam.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/how-to-revive-mac-app-store-when-its.ht ml and it seemed simple enough. However it tells me to go into activity monitor and quite 'storeagent'. The issue is that there is no process called storeagent. I have tried quitting other processes but it doesn't seem to be working.
Does anyone know of a solution to stop the download saying 'waiting' and to get it started?

Most likely it is downloading, although the App Store doesn't show the download progress. I had the same problem yesterday when I did the upgrade. It eventually finished, and it's quite a large download, so it might take hours, depending on your internet connection.
If you open the Launchpad, and locate the XCode application icon, it should show a download/install progress, if you want to verify that it's actually doing something. Otherwise, just leave the App Store running, and it should eventually finish.

If you purchased apple care plus then you can get your iPad replaced for a $49 service fee. If you didn't then out of warranty replacements start at 219 for a mini and goes up to 299 for the newer models.
If you decide to take it to a non-authorized repair place, they might fix it cheaper, but once a non-authorized place touches your device Apple washes its hands of it and will have nothing else to do with it.
So it kinda comes down to the more expensive sure bet of an out of warranty replacement or a cheaper gamble

Help with jammed Maverick download!

Hi all!
I want to upgrade OSX 10.7.5 to Mavericks on a Macbook Air (2011 roughly).
But after a partially downloaded attempt (I moved wifi spot), it then aborted mission and I now keep getting the error message "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed.".
There is no partially downloaded Mavericks in 'all files' to delete and start again.
It appears as if I haven't even tried to download it, but yet I still can't retry!

Several causes for this problem have been reported. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when it's resolved.
Step 1
If possible, test on another network, such as a public hotspot (if the computer is portable) or the hotspot created by a mobile device. A network gateway that blocks some traffic, most likely on a company or university network, could be causing the error.
Step 2
Back up all data.
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If any proxy options are selected, make a note of them and then deselect them. You don’t need to change the bypass or FTP settings. Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens.
Step 3
Rebuild the Spotlight index. If you try to search now from the magnifying-glass icon in the top right corner of the display, there will be an indication that indexing is in progress.
Step 4
Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Can't open 2nd page with firefox after downloading a toolbar ...

Firefox works and the page opens up. But I can't open more than one page. Nothing happens at all. I downloaded yahoo toolbar that's when it happened. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it, but the problem still persists.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem.
There is no yahoo toolbar now don't see it. And can't find it anywhere.
The Add-ons also does not open on firefox. Happened after I installed the yahoo toolbar and when tried to uninstall it, it didn't open. I tried again now Tools --> Add-ons (or Ctrl+Shift+A) and still doesn't open.
So anything I can do to fix that problem as reinstalling hasn't helped, and can't seem to find yahoo toolbar anywhere.

OK getting desperate now, I recently updated my 2010 MacBook Pro (Running Snow Leopard) with the latest update, unfortuantly my mail icon was in a sub folder in the applications folder and apparently is the cause of all my problems as it looks like it didnt get the updated?
So I have been scrolling different solutions to try to find some sort of resolution, I have downloaded the Mac os X 10.6.8 update combo v1.1 but that hasnt done anything? I just simply opened it when i downloaded it, was I supposed to do something fancy with it ??
Totally lost as to what to try next anyone out there more computer savy that I am ?

If you installed the Security Update 2012-004, it failed to update Mail to 4.6; thus, your problem. Manually DownLoad it fromhttp://support.apple.com/kb/DL1586 and reinstall it.

I need help with problems after the April 2015 update

In December 2015 I purchased an LG G3. It started out great. Then often people couldn't hear me..sometimes with the speaker on, sometimes with it off, sometimes on bluetooth with my car,.or my voice faded in and out, or sounded muffled or garbled. After over a month of these frequent audio problems and several calls to Verizon during which they boosted my signal and guided me through a factory reset which took all of my photos out of their albums, the final suggestion a few days ago (April 21, 2015) was to download the new software update. I did and I'm not happy with some of the changes e.g. I wish I could have the old home touch buttons back,The jury is still out on sounds quality, but now I have two new annoying problems.
The first is that my car and phone used to bluetooth (connect) as soon as I put my engine on. Now, every time I get in my car I have to go into settings and give the phone permission to have other devices find my phone. Then after one or two tries the bluetooth eventually connects them. I am a Realtor and I need my phone and car to connect automatically every time I get in. I can give the phone permission to connect for up to an hour, but then it goes off. How do I get the opton to stay on?
The second is that I often turn my data off, and I used to do it from the notification panel that I can pull down. I just pulled it down and tapped "data" and the light would go off if the data was off and on if it was on. Now when I tap "data" I can turn it on or off, but the data button stays lit so when the data is off the light is still on. No more quickly glancing to see the data status...I have to tap it and read the notice to find out. Yes, 3G or 4G light up in tiny letters at the top, but data is the only button that stays lit when it is turned off.
Am I missing the steps that would fix these issues?

I am sorry to hear of the issues with your device before and after the update. We want to restore the love back to your device. Please keep us posted on the audio issues to see if the update did assist with that issues.
In regards to the two new problems, we want to make sure we get this worked out. Do you have issues with the device only auto connecting to your car or all bluetooths? Do you receive and error message when the device doesn't auto connect and you attempt to connect manually but it fails? As for the data icon, when you tab on the data icon from the notification tab does the 4G actually disappear even thought the data icon is still lit?

Help with PDF form download

Could anyone help please. I have completed a form and saved it, then I went back into it and made a couple of changes and now I cannot download it as a PDF file. Here is the error message I keep getting
There is nothing else open on my mac, so I don't understand it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The general things to try are:
1) Make sure that youdo not have the file open, close any applications that might have had the file open
2) Make sure you are saving to a location you can "write" to, such as your Desktop (not a read only location)
3) Try giving the file a new name when saving (you probably need to add ".pdf" or you might end up with a file with no extension and you'd get another error message)
4) Try restarting the web browser
5) Try another web browser
6) If all else fails restart your computer and try again
Let me know if those do not get you going again.

Help with Adobe Photo Downloader in PSE 7?

I do not allow PSE 7 to "see" pictures all over my hard drives; I have ONE watched folder called "my picture collection", in which are stored all of my "final copy" pictures, and these are the only pictures in "my catalog".
Since I am using Photoshop Elements to edit, and tag pictures, etc, I would like to use it to get photos from my Camera....however...
I want to import pictures from my camera, or scanner, to a different folder then my "watched folder", to a folder called "my Pictures F drive". I do this because these may be photos I DO NOT want in "My Catalog", such as today, pictures of the insides of an engine.
I can tell Adobe Photo Downloader NOT to open the Organizer after importing the pictures to whatever folder I wish, and organizer does not open; BUT, I am informed that the next time I open PSE 7, the Organizer will display these pictures, which it does. this is what I do NOT want; I don't want Organizer importing these pictues, and including them in "My Catalog" just because I used Photo Downloader to get them from my camera to a completely unrelated folder; NOT my "watched Folder". Is there any way of stopping Organizer from importing ALL photos handled by Photo Downloader?? If I want photos in "My Catalog", I move them into the "Watched Folder", and THEN I want Organizer to find them, and open them up for tagging etc (which it does). I can't find any way of doing this in "Preferences", or options in Photo Downloader. (The alternative would be to use a different program to get the pictures from the Camera, or scanner). Thanks for any assistance!! Maybe I am not seeing something obvious??

I have an older version of Elements, and in that the downloader always runs in the background when it is enabled via preferences. I found this to be annoying and, therefore, disabled this feature.
My workflow is:
I use a card reader to import pictures from camera card to an empty folder on the desktop
Next, I burn a CD before I do anything else. This is my "film" - can always go back to retrieve an accidentally deleted file.
Then, I delete the obviously poor pictures from the desktop folder - motion, unflattering pose, etc.
Finally, I manually import the "keepers" into organizer, tag them, etc.
You could adapt this scheme to import into the organizer only the pictures which meet the test for what you call "my picture collection", i.e. those pictures which have been enhanced .
In the older version of Elements, the organizer allows one to make a collection. I believe that it called something else in PEv.7, but it is still there. The advantage of this is that you can assemble a group of photos for a particular purpose, which you do. It also allows you to define the order of the photos in the collection by dragging them into position. Suggest that you consult the help file re same.
