Alright, I Ned help with my iPhone 4S battler life, it is horrible, it will drain in about 12 hours. All I do is check my email, text a few people, and check a few apps. When I may school, it is a hundred percent, then I check it during school etc, when I go to bed it is about 20-30% battery life. Need help. Any suggestions? I tried a hard resets and restoring to a new iPhone etc, nothing worked.

I"m not at all sure what is the problem when you are describing your battery as holding its charge for 12 hours???
How long do you want your device to hold its battery charge???
Please see this article for tips on conserving battery charge. But PLEASE if you are looking for a device to hold its charge for LONGER than 12 hours I would suggest an android.

Need help with instllation for IOS 9

Can anyone help me with installing Reader for IOS 9? I don't see this version (Mavericks) listed as a system requirement for Adobe Reader installation. (Also, i've just created an acct with Adobe and don't understand why I've been directed 2-3 times to different pages to ask this question, very frustrtaing and tedious....)

There isn't an iOS 9, we're up to iOS 7 on iPad, iPhone and iPod. Perhaps you mean Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks)?

I just updated my I phone 4s to ios 8.1.3 it was taking a long time then they finally updated and had the Hello screen after that I saw my photos then they would just delete it right in front of me I also lost some of my contacts but my notes still here can someone please help me find my photos are very important to me they have pictures of my relatives who passed away please help!!!

After 4+ months of dealing with this data usage and battery drain problem that included 3 data captures of my wife's iMac, the trigger for us regarding the problems syncing with iCloud, and 5 hours of logs off my iPhone 6 to be analyzed by Apple engineers that included times my wife's computer was both on and off to demonstrate the difference in data usage and battery drain under those conditions, I can say with very reasonable certainty that the iOS 8.3 and corresponding Mac OS 10.10.3 update has solved the problem.
We have now been running for about 2 weeks and data usage with the iCloud Servers attempting to sync has dropped from a rate of 31 GBs to under 15 MBs per month. Yes, you read it right. We were burning 2000 times as much data doing absolutely nothing important on both of our phones, a 5s and a 6. Just imagine what that does to battery life! The 5s would last about 5 hours and the 6 was dead in less than 14.
The distasteful aspect of this process was how the engineers were quietly fixing the problem at the same time sending messages to my contact person within Apple that were dismissive in nature in the face of indisputable unreasonable results. I must say, this experience with the multiple times the engineers' responses were inappropriate put a little tarnish on the old Apple shine of the ‘It just works’ mantra. This was my first experience in 34 years that caused me to stop recommending Apple products without reservations and with a disclaimer.
Since the update solved the problem, then I can only conclude that there was a logic bug regarding the reaction within the process to the incoming data that was corrected. There was noting short of logging out of iCloud that circumvented the problem for us, Gator5000e and probably many others noted on other threads. I am not trying to imply that this is the cause of everyones battery use problem, but it is reasonable that it was a cause for many.

Sorry. Apple stopes using apps using google things and YouTube was from google so they don't have it anymore. You can still go to m.youtube.com it is a mobile version and it is better then the app.

I need help with updating to ios 7.1.1

After tapped on update and it turned off for about 5 mins it started showing an iTunes icon with a charger under it. I'm so confused what should I do and my ipad is in charge but it's not doing anything! Please help!

YOU ARE IN RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Need help with colors in iOS 7

The whites of the OS are simply overpowering. If I don't turn the brightness down to less than 15%, I get headaches from the whites. But if I turn it down that low then I have to strain to make out everything else on the screen, which give me a different kind of headache. Searching for any relief, I even tried Invert Colors. That helps greatly, but it inverts the colors in everything, not just the base OS.
Is there any way at all to control the colors of the OS elements themselves? Just being able to tone down the whites might allow me to use my iPad again. For that matter, can I simply roll back to iOS 6 and solve my vision problems that way?

What anti-virus software did you install? Although there's a lot of bad anti-virus software out there, no anti-virus software should cause such a problem. A gray screen with a flashing question mark on a folder means that no bootable system could be found, which means that the system was badly damaged or corrupt. Even installing bad software would not normally cause that, so either there was something badly wrong with the system already or the anti-virus software you tried to install was really, really bad!
As mende1 says, you need to reinstall the system at this point. After your system is back up and running, read my Mac Malware Guide. If, after reading that, you want anti-virus software, use one of the programms recommended in that guide.

CS4 Define Pattern Acting Weirdly!!! Pleas Help (with screenshot)!!!

I'm try to define a 20x20 pixel pattern for infill to create an old crt monitor effect. But Photoshop won't let me define the whole 20x20 but only allows me a 20x1 strip. (I've selected the whole image) There's also a weird "16" at the corner of the defined pattern. I've never had this issue before. Anybody know what's going on??

Well, the 16 or 32 flag is how Photoshop tells you that the pattern was defined in 16 or 32 bit/channel.
Is part of your image on different layers that aren't selected?
If you had selected the top half of your image, then you might get a single pixel (because the rest is a replication of the top row, and filling with a pattern would get the same result).

Need Help with iclould on ios device

I'm new to the community and tried to find the answer without asking but no luck. My iPhone 4s has been backing my photos to icloud for past 4 days. It looks like most of them are there but tells me I have over 500 more to go, and when I signed into icloud on my pc and clicked on the photos icon today, I got an error message that says my photos has stopped responding and an error prevented this application from working properly. If I end icloud backup will I lose my photos or will they still be on my iPhone? This has slowed my computer so much that I had to disable wifi to write this message. I do have iTunes 12 and I see where I can do backups to both icloud and iTunes but can both be going on at the same time? My iPhone is 4S with version 8.1.2. Will appreciate any help as I don't want to lose my new grandbaby's pics.

OK, if you are seeing the error on the iCloud control panel under Photos Beta, then you are looking at the iCloud Photo Library option. In looking at the support site info, it does indicate that if you max out your storage it will stop uploading photos:

I am not running Yosemite on my Mac, so I do not have this feature fully available to me, so I'm not using it. What I'm not 100% sure about is whether the photos on your device are considered "originals". If they are, then you can safely turn off iCloud Photo Library and import your photos to your PC the old fashioned way:

You also can purchase additional iCloud storage if you think that the photos you have uploaded have maxed out your iCloud storage (remember, the amount of storage being used includes backups). You can check the amount of storage you are using by going to Settings>General>Usage and under the iCloud section it should show you how much storage you are using and how much you have remaining. I can tell you that I have around 975 photos on my iPhone, and with the videos, they take up over 10 GB of storage on my iCloud backup. So, it is possible you have maxed out your available storage. The first link tells you how to get more storage so that you don't have to reset or redo anything. Once the storage is upgraded, it sounds like it will then upload the remainder of your photos. I wouldn't go with less than 200 GB if you are going to be uploading a lot of photos.

After I Rebooted My iPad, I Started to touch my assistive touch and what is the main issue i was facing was when i open my assistive touch i'm unable to close it by touching the outside of the assistive touch,but when i press the blank place in the assistive touch it closed. Yeah i know but it never happen before.....the only issue is the just assistive touch dissapear for me,have no issue for other's......just brought 2 weeks ago and have th first issue,how sweet,previous ios 6.1.1,6.0.1 no issue for the assistive touch,just wonder why.....sometimes,Technology very hard to explain lol

I just upgraded my old Ipad 2 to the new IOS and am totally confused. Before if I tapped the button on the outside frame then all my open applications would show in the bottom of the screen and I could tap them to close them. How do I get applications such as Yahoo Mail to close now when I am finished reading?

To dismiss now ou still double tap the home button, but swipe the material just above the icon up and away and it will close the app.
