Help with setting variable within movieClip

I am a relative begginer with ActionScript so please bare
with me.
I have a button within a movie clip. I have the following
code assign to it:
on (release) {
_root.gotoAndPlay(1);
startMovie = "intro";
I have a conditional statement at root frame 1 that will load
movieClip "intro" if startMovie = "intro"
The script executes as is if startMovie is undeclared.
I have tried declaring the value as _root.startMovie =
"intro"; as well.
I know I must be missing something simple here.
Any help would be appreciated

Prior to purchasing Airport Extreme had a standard modem/ wireless router from ATT for DSL. I have two macbooks both dropped connections while online with older modem.
Airport Extreme purchased to correct connection issues I need help with set up. The older modem just used telephone cord. I tried to use telephone with extreme it did not work.
How do I get extreme to work as the modem and router ?

you can't. the extreme is only a router. you need a separate modem (or disable the wireless part of your old router and use it as a modem - if that's possible).

Help with Report Variables

I have been doing battle with the SBO Customer Receivables Aging Report. I am trying to add the fields "Customer Reference" and "Creation Date" to the Repetitive area of the report with no success. All of the existing fields are variables, and the on-line help says to contact SAP support (which would be me) for help with changing variables. Does anyne have a list of these variables, or know how to define them?

Hi Mike Stroud, i'm actualy also working on the customer ageing report. You also responded to my post. It was the reports one. Well, im not sure about the variables but i simply wrote a query that brings all that info and more up. But i'm having problems diplsying it. In the normal SAP report/print layout, if i make the report based on the query it doesn't let me move the info from the repetitive area to the header....why.....can you get around this??? I then did it in the advanced layout but the first page is always wrong. What do you want to do with the variables?? what are you trying to achieve with the report because me and my coleagues have had a BIG problem with the ageing.

You will need an external hard drive (formatted for a Mac).
Then you plug it in and go to system preferences>time machine and select the external HD and turn it on.
The backups are automatic.

how are you checking if those components have been checked or
ticked. actually, i probably don't want to know that.
you really should be using a listener to detect when your
components have changed and then you can use the changed method to
set your variables and update your sharedobject.

LinkedList<Rectangle> rects = new LinkedList<Rectangle>();rects is an empty LinkedList at this point. It has no elements added to it.
rects.set(1,myrectangle);So you can't set the item at index 1 (the 2nd element in the list) because it doesn't even exist. You need to add items to it.

Help with CLASSPATH variable please

Please, help to set up my classpath variable. I know I know I have guidelines in API but I don't achieve it, I'm so clumsy.
I've formated my hard disk and installed everything again, but the classpath is wrong because I can't compile my java files.
I've tried with this:
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_06\scr.zip;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_06\javac.exe;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_06\java.exe
I've also tried with the same lines but unnaming files (finishing with '\')
What am I doing wrong?

Please post your exact problem and the exact error message. I think you are having a problem compiling, but I am not sure. What is not working? What is the error?
You posted a path, but if that is your Classpath, you should not have javac or java in the Classpath.

Having problem with setting variable on a textfield

I'm using createTextField to create a textfield. I have also created a input textfield with a variable called textline1 (I don't create the inputfield with as).
I want to display the letters in the created textfiled that I'm typing in the input field. So this in my AS coed:

text1.variable = textline1;
format1 = new TextFormat();
format1.color = 0xff0000;
format1.size = 50;
format1.bullet = false;
text1.setTextFormat(format1);
but it doesn't work. So anyone see the problem?

i think you're going to have more problems if you continue using textfield variables. you should not use them. just use the text property of the textfield to reference its contents.
but, if you want to continue, use:

had to change the way to start the bind variable

Need Help with setting up this Filter

Hi,
I need help making a filter sound like the one used in this youtube song.
I tried setting it up but I've had no success; even though I know for a fact that this filter was made in Logic Pro 9 according to the maker of this song.
I think there might be a bit of 'Fuzz-Wah' in there too but I've never really used that effect so any tips on that would be great, too.

It sounds like a simple hi Q filter sweep to me but getting close to the original synth sound that it is being used on is the challenge. It might well be that it is the filter on the synth itself is what is being swept. Either way, turn up the filter resonance on a band pass filter and sweep it with the lfo or adsr to modulate the filter cutoff if its the synth filter, or automate the filter frequency sweep if you use the channel filter.

How do I effectively retreive:

Apparently this does'nt work, I also tried Nodes, children().

Need help with Set-ADUser command

I need a little help with the following command. Im new to PS and I have found this command but it is only one user at a time. I need to be able to update ALL users in AD.
My goal is this. Someone before me set all Users Home numbers to 1234567899 and I need to remove that and leave it blank. The command below allows me to do that but only one user at a time by entering their SAMID.
Is there a way to do this for everyone in AD ?

I need help with xpath in "Switch" BPEL construct. Switch is used to compare value assigned to output vairable and follow one path for "Deny" and another for "Approve". The following is data type for output variable.

The following expressions in Switch statement throw lava.lang.Exception. It error is xpath internal error".

It works with x20:compare('Deny','Deny'). So I assumed it must be accessing the variable.
Any help greatly appreciated.
