Help with some of my music that i imported...
Hi, i buy all of my albums and import them on itunes and my Lady Gaga cd is titled as the Artist Various Artist instead of Just Lady Gaga.... Is There anyway i can fix this. Also In some cases it has split some of my Albums in two or even 4 different album covers yet it is all from the same album... examples :Chris Botti (TO Love Again) or Stevie Ray Vaughan (Texas Flood) it does this because it features different artist, it also does this on rap albums. how can i get it to stop doing this. Another concern is when it doesnt put the album in order or track listing like the way it should be or as it was intended on the album... some albums the track listing is out of order, how can i fix this. Please if you can give me some solutions this would be very helpful. I am a proud Apple/I tunes user, this is not a complaint i just like to keep my library nice and neat thanks!
no, im not sure you get it, either that or i didnt understand the answer... sorry im not very good with itunes yet or very clear with what i mean ha! LEts see what i mean is i have lets see three examples of this... one Nirvana with the lights out its a 3 disc cd of their unreleased songs... now i want those all in one album artwork... or (album) where i dont have to see that disc one ****, same thing with Red Hot Chili Peppers : Stadium Arcadium, i dont want them aranged by cd (Jupitar and Mars or better known as disc one and disc 2) i just want it as Stadium Arcadium with all the tracks listed in order on one Stadium Aracdium artwork. Same for Pearl Jam Lost Dogs i think you might get the point... in the process of trying to figure out of i could combind albums i experiented with the least favorite of the 3 to see if it would work i did the compilation method and now i have 4 album artworks of pearl jam lost dogs a copy of disc one twice with only one song on one of them, same goes for disc 2... so ive fiddled with it.. basically i need to know if the combinding of discs on an album is possible if not no big... also to fix my Pearl JAm one... sorry im such a hassle.

EdWell, this question really belongs in the iTunes forum, which is where you will get fast answers.
Just go to iTunes Preferences. Click on the General icon. Set When you insert a CD to Ask to Import CD. Click on Import Settings. Set Import to MP3 decoder. Make sure you're using Good Quality.
This should deal with your CD's.
With your current music, as long as it does not have DRM restrictions (older iTunes Music did), select the song, right click on the song (or group of songs), pull down to Create MP3 version. -

Can I have in one iphone 5 music from more than one itunes accounts? My daughter and I have our music in the same pc. She and I have iTunes accounts. I have not been able to load in my ophone with my itunes acct music that she purchased in her account. I have not been able to do this. Thanks
iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

When I synced my phone with my mac, the music that I had in my phone got transferred to my mac. 140 songs to be exact, however I can no longer see the songs on my phone, only the purchased album I have appears. How can I get the songs I had back?
Connect your phone to computer, and sync like this. Check the boxes for the playlists, artists, albums you want to sync. Then click Apply. If you have enough space on your phone, you can choose Entire music library.

I have suddenly lost the whole of my iTunes library, with the exception of music that I have bought and downloaded from iTunes Store. It was all there yesterday and I haven't altered anything, as far as I know! I hope it's something quite simple?

For your own music that you've copied, then if you haven't got a backup on, for example, external drives or CDs/DVDs then you could see if any of the utilities mentioned in this old post still exist and work -

It's in recovery mode. There is nothing left on the phone. You have no choice but to restore it. Have you not been backing it up on a regular basis?

The photos being scanned are old film shots. They have NOT been previously scanned. I am using Photoshop Elements 9 software.
QUESTION: how do I override this STOP and or circumvent the photo comparison option????

Are you using continuous numbering for files names as by definition scanned files have no exif data.

Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match. Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

3. No. DVD players can't play BluRay discs -- even if they are burned to a DVD disc.
4. 1080p50 is a perfectly legitimate mode for shooting, particularly if you're shooting video with a lot of action, since it has double the actual frames of 1080i50. However, your output video may or may not actually have 50p frames (or even be 1920x1080), depending on what form of media you're publishing as. The BluRay files that Premiere Elements outputs, for instance are 50i. -

Okay, maybe it's just me, but I can't get 9 to do some of the things that I just figured out how to do with 8 so if anyone can help you would save my sanity. First, I only have a few things listed to rank my albums on top in the view section-like album, artist album artist for ex. I used to be able to see all of those on the screen. 9 has spread out these columns too wide and I would like to reduce them.
Second, I have several compilation albums like the Now that's what I call music. I had them fixed so that they would list as the total album with all the various artists. Now if I have 9 in the list view, it separates every artist in that type of album by their name. It won't just list them as an album together. If I click on the album from the side album it has the tracks all mixed up. The only way that I can see them being together and in the correct order is if I stay on the album view.
I'm sure that these are stupid things to be concerned with, but I want to be able to view my own library the way I want to view it. Help with some iPhone issues please
Ok, I am starting to have some problems with my iPhone 3G, and would really appreciate any help with these issues.. here is what is happening
1) iPhone Vibrate is pretty much broken, turns off and on vibrate by itself.. and now is vibrating very softly.
2) iPhone wont sync my Music anymore, I have 3 playlists that I use on my iPhone, and none of them will update. When I sync my iPhone, everything syncs but the music.
3) iPhone sometimes completely freezes and i cant get it to go to the locksreen or power off, so I have to do a hard restart.Hi Matt,

If the vibrate and unlock issues persists, the iPhone may need hardware repair. Just make a reservation to have a Genius, at a local Apple retail store, take a look at it or call AppleCare.
