Help with the custom tag
Hi
i want to make a custom tag encapsulating certain functionalities of existing tags in one tag namely tomahawk dataPanel and html facets.
Where can I get the source for html jsf tags so that I can look into it and modify.

If you have in your jsps a reference to the tld like this:
<%@ taglib uri="/WEB-INF/struts-html.tld" prefix="html" %>
make a C:\WEB-INF\ directory on your PC and copy in there your tlds
(C:\WEB-INF\struts-html.tld). The same for linux: /WEB-INF/struts-html.tld.
So you do not have to change anything in web.xml nor in the jsp pages!

why is it ok for a verizon wireless service representative to lie to a customer? I went over my monthly data and i called to ask for some help with the overage because i was barely over. We do not want to see you go. I truly apologize for any misinformation regarding your plan. Let's investigate into this a little further. What plan were you on? What plan were you switched to? If you look at the detailed billing online of your previous bill do you see any additional charges other then the plan?

I need help with the conditional build tag option. I want to apply CBT to content in a topic. I looked at the Help topics and believed that I applied the feature correctly. Howver, it is not working as desired. In the 2nd sentence below I want the text highlighted in blue to only appear for the printed output and the text printed in purple to only appear for the .htm /online output. Please help.

Using tagging is a two part process.
Part One
You create and apply the tags to the information you wish to control.
Part Two
You create a Build Expression that is used when you generate your output. The Build Expression typically reads something like: NOT Tag1 (or whatever your tag name is)
Then when you generate and use the Build Expression, the information tagged is not included in the build.

Error while binding the model with the custom controller
Hi All,
I first started with a dummy project and in that binded the model with the custom controller.
For some reason, I deleted the project and created a new one. I have deleted the whole project from the workspace.
Now, when I am trying to bind the model again , I am getting an error when selecting the response parameters saying that DUPICATE ENTRIES.Ideally it should not happen when I am deleting it completely.
I am using a Webservice Model. Can any one help me out to resolve the same.

Dear all, I need help with the colour profile of my photoshop CS6.
I've taken a photo with my Canon DSLR. When I opened the raw with ACDSee, the colour looks perfectly ok.
So I go ahead and open in photoshop. I did nothing to the photo. It still looks ok
Then I'm prompt the Embedded Profile Mismatch error. I go ahead and choose Discard the embedded profile option
And the colour started to get messed up.
And the output is a total diasater
Put the above photo side by side with the raw, the red has became crimson!!
So I tried the other option, Use the embedded profile
The whole picture turns yellowish in Photoshop's interface
And the output is just the same as the third option.

always use the embedded profile when opening tagged images in Photoshop - at that point Photoshop will convert the source colors over to your monitor space correctly
if your colors are wrong at that point either your monitor profile is off, or your source colors are not what you think they are - if other apps are displaying correctly you most likely have either a defective monitor profile or source profile issues

I need help proving the date tag on a photo stored in my iPhoto is from the date it was sent to my iphone/date it was imported into iphoto - and that it is NOT the date the photo was actually taken. I recieved a photo via text on my iphone and then I synced my iphone to my macbook and now it is in iphoto. I already know that the date on the photo per the tag that shows up on it in iphoto is NOT the date the photo was actually taken. I need article or literature or something confirming the tag is from when it was sent to the iphone and/or when it was imported. I greatly appreciate some assistance!
All I am trying to do is find something on a forum board or article etc stating that the the date showing in iphoto could be the date it was imported or synced or sent to me and not the actual date taken.
The date on the photo could be anything because you can edit the date with iPhoto or any of 100 apps, free and paid for. So, the date on the photo will prove nothing, I'm afraid.

I searched the forum, but couldnt find the answer (or in the API). In my custom tag handler, I want to know what the name of the custom tag was. Is this possible?

We are making our own tags for buttons on our app (the button will be an HTML table, with a clickable background, that looks like an image, but isnt).
The HTML designers want tags they can drag and drop to the screen in DreamWeaver, including visual feedback on what they dragged and dropped. So the tag <fast:blueButton>Continue</fast:blueButton> will show a blue button image in dreamWeaver with "Continue" as the text. There are a lot of parameters to set for each button, like height, width, border, etc. that will be configured in an XML config file for each button.
It would be nice if all the buttons we invent in the tld point to the same generic button class, and when the generic button class runs, sees which button called it, and gets its config from an XML file.
This way the designer could add more buttons with the tld and XML config, and no more java classes are needed. However, if a generic button is sent with a type param: <fast:button type="blue">Continue</fast:button> then there is no visual feedback in the tool (in the first case we could have set the fast:blueButton to be the image of a blue button) and it cant be picked from a list in the tool (the designer needs to remember which types exist). It seems not important to programmers, but for designers it is important.
Oh well, I will see if there is another way to NOT have tons of Java classes to support.

Search help on the customer fields in quotation doesnt work

Added 4 custom fields to the BID and QUOT using the standard CI includes ( INCL_EEW_PD* ) provided by SAP. Enabled search helps with the value table for some fields and with fixed values at the domain level for some fields .
The fields contents get transferred properly from Shopping carts -> BID Invitation -> QUOT ( Bid response).
But while submitting the BID when I try to change the value of the custom fields using the search help or directly the original value doesn't change. It happens with all the other fields.
The search help or the value change works just fine with the BID INVITATION.
I couldnt find any issue with the doc change BADI implementation.

You can copy the "searchhelp.html" from the system folder to your internet template and customize it only for your internet service.

Help with the insert table/form tool in BIP 10.1.3.2.1
Hi, I'm trying to use the insert table/form tool in BIP, and running into some issues that I don't understand. First off, my data coming in looks like this (left column of tool):
Rowset
--- Row
------ Customer ID
------ Customer Name
------ Customer City
------ Product
------ Amount Sold
I would like the output to do the following:
a) have one page per customer. Customer should be determined by customer ID, and has attributes of customer ID, customer Name, Customer City
b) Show a table of all products and the total Amount Sold by product for that customer
c) Give a "grand total" for the customer
Can someone help with the steps needed to do this? I've tried several variations of the following without much luck:
1) Added Rowset and all children to the "Template" pane
2) Clicked on the "Row" group, and set Grouping = Customer ID, with a break of "New page per Element"
3) Clicked on the newly created (from step 2) Cust ID group, and set it to group by Product
4) Moved "amount sold" to be at same level as Product
5) Moved all of the customer attributes (name, address, etc.) to be at same level as Cust ID
6) On the Cust ID level, set the style to table
7) on row and rowset levels, set style to free form
This seems to be VERY close, except that it isn't creating a total amount for the sum of all products purchased by a customer. What do I need to do inside the tool to get a total per customer to show up?

How to call a method repeatedly with JSP custom tag?
This senerio is very similar to the usage of StringBuffer.
I have a problem which can be solved easily with scriptlets:

Rendering A JPEG image with a custom tag
Hi All,
I have dilema. I'm trying to rendering a jpeg in IE/FireFox with a custom tag that I developed. I'm able to access the bean and invoke the getter method to return the InputStream property. But what gets rendered is the byte code not the image. I've tried just about anything I could think off. If any body has an answer I would difinitely appreciate it.

**************************************************************************************If you have access to an image editing tool such as photoshop, I would advice you import the image into Phototshop and save it in a different format e.g, GIF format and re-import it into Final Cut Express HD. This could solve your rendering problem if all you need is to use a Still image.

In a website, when an email link is clicked, the "mailto:email@address" tag is called, which opens the default mail client.
A friend has Yahoo web mail as his default mail client. When he clicks on such an email link in a website, the TO address appears in the new email form prepended with the "mailto:" tag, as in mailto:[email protected] This of course bounces.

Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead. Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

You may have a Safari third party add on installed that was compatible with the previous version of Safari but not 5.1. Try troubleshooting > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
