Help with the date field!!! in opportunity

hello friends!!!!
I have a requirement that in opportunity tab milestone we have created date profile with 4 different date types and position them to milestone tab in opportunity header data.
Now the issue is out these 4, 2 of them we wish to have as mandatory fields
date type                     desciption
ZNOH_CONTSIG          Date of signature
ZNOH_COSTART         Contract Start Date
Can you please help how is that possible..
what procedure will it be behind this !!

I have awarded you 6 points for your helpful answer as it didn´t solve my question posted here but a related issue was solved.
I tried to use the incompletness procedure and also the badi but in both the ways you can check for a field but in my case in opportunity tab milestone
it looks like an ALV with CRM concept it has date profiles behind that using date management in SPRO. Please have a look if possible.
Any help would be gr8 and any ideas from people which can give me any infos about it will be great!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem with the date field in Table Control

I have created a table control in my module programming. One of the column in the table control is a date field which is I/O field.
Now if I enter a value in date field column and hit enter the date field is reset. I dont want the field to get reset and accept valid date field.
I have set type of the column as DATS and I havent used any dictionary fields. The column is from the internal table in the program.

F4 help for the Date field in Module-Pool program

I have a requirement wherein the user shud be allowed to choose a date on the calendar using F4 help and after choosing, it shud get displayed as dd.mm.yyyy format in the field. Is there any functional module to implement this.

Help with a date field script

Sorry if this is a repeat. I was interrupted and found that my browser had crashed when I came back so I'm not sure if the question got asked.
I need a script for a date field (mm/dd/yyyy) where the user can only fill in a date that is between 12/31/1899 and the current date (whatever the date when the form is opened). I'm getting better at writing these but I haven't been successful with this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help with Updating Data Fields in Merged Document

I'm working in InDesign CS5 v7
I have a multipage report, all using one master page for about 80 seperate records. Each page has their own linked graphs/images.
We now have need to alter the source data, and while these alterations can be seen in 'Preview mode' on the Master Page, they are not carrying through into the pages themselves. No amount of 'Update Data Source' clinking changes this, and the 'Update Content Data Fields' remains greyed out...
I really don't want to have to remerge the whole document, as I will loose all of the linked graphs and images.
Can anyone help?

I have researched the documentation for this class, and find three constructors. One that is deprecated, one that creates a null Date object, and one that requires an explicit parameter-- a long integer which represents the amount of time in milliseconds that has passed since some day in 1970.
I have imported the java utility with this bit of code,

Not null.
Instead of java.util.Date, it is usually appropriate to use java.util.Calendar and its concrete subclass java.util.GregorianCalendar.
The static method Calendar.getInstance()
Gets a calendar using the default time zone and locale. The Calendar returned is based on the current time in the default time zone with the default locale.
See the documentation for other methods which allow you to manipulate the Date represented by the instance of Calendar.

Which is the correct way to insert a date in the attribute specified with a "date" type of a table? For example: 02-03-1999, 02-mar-1999, 02/03/1999......or what else?

Date can be in ay formats you had mentioned.
You can use to_date or to_char functions to
manipulate the date in the way you wanted.

Problem with the Date Field in Production

In Development while using a variable with data element DATS , the variable gets initialised to 00000000.
But the same does not get initialised in Production.....
Kindly suggest?

I need help with the dates on a macbook

HI i've recently bought a macbook a1260, the chap has sold it too me for £330 on the basis that he bought it brand new back in 2011 making it just 4 years old, my problem is all im getting is that it's the '08 model, which makes me think that it is without doubt that the macbook could of been bought brand new in 2011, or would apple still sell there 3 year old models brand new. Any help on this subject would be highly appreciated because i'm worried that i've been ripped off for the price. Thank you

Problem with displaying Date field in the table.

I am trying to display data into a table UI Element.
In that data, i have one DATE type field. While displaying data in DATE field, it will display like this "01.02.2009".
Now my requirement is if i want to modify that DATE field, it will allow to modify "01.02.2009" to "26.02.2009".
But while modifying DATE field , I want to show the Calender of that month, in that i have to select the another date.
(Like normal Date UI Element will show that calender).
Can anyone please help me.

We have an application that I would like to have in Formscentral. That application is also in a larger PDF file that once filled in populates all the other forms below it (lease, credit check form, ect). If the Application on Formscentral keep the same field names as the pdf can I pull the data from formscentral and sill populate the old application pdf so that all the forms below it will be also populated.

I agreed and recieved my next statement and to my suprise my bill actually went up 15$ a month and i talked to several people and they all told me there is nothing that can be done to get back on the plan i was on and they can not even give me a discount to get me back to what i was paying. They can only offer me a convenience credit. I will be cancelling service.

We do not want to see you go. I truly apologize for any misinformation regarding your plan. Let's investigate into this a little further. What plan were you on? What plan were you switched to? If you look at the detailed billing online of your previous bill do you see any additional charges other then the plan?

How can I make a report of all records with the date in the last two weeks?

I have records with a date field, I want to create a report that only includes records with a date which is within the last two weeks of the system date, is this possible? Surely this is a basic database function, I would have thought, but I can find no help about it and there's very little in Mac Help about doing anything other than simple stuff with reports.
I'm not a genius with databases, so help with any required formula or what have you would be great!

Here's a formula you can use with the Match function. 'Date' is the name of the date field, which must be a "Date" type field.
'Date'>NOW()-14
Match will select (highlight) all records matching the query. You'll then need to use Organize > Hide Unselected to show only the matches.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to make the NOW() function work in a Find request, and neither Match requests nor Hide Unselected can be included in a recorded search, either of which would reduce repeating the report to a one-button operation.
