Help With Tools & Highlighting in new Adobe Reader

Can anyone help me find the tool menu and highlight function in he new Adobe Reader. When I bring up an online document it no longer has the tool menu option. There also used to be the adobe logo that you could click on to bring up the tool menu. Can anybody help?

Try saving the file and then opening it in the application directly instead of via the browser.

This article should help you troubleshoot issues playing sound from the built-in speakers. Try the steps listed, and I quoted a part about the red light.

Check to see if a red light is lit in the line-out port. If so, your Apple computer may need service.

While filling out the same form on each computer, I have found that I can save info on the older laptop, but not on the newer one. This is a big problem. I must be able to save on the newer computer. Do I need to buy a new computer with a more up-to-date OS? Please help.

Adobe Reader X can only save reader-enabled forms. Adobe Reader XI can save all forms.

Need Help ASAP. Deleting Underline in Adobe Reader Touch.

I don't understand why it won't let me delete the strikeout or underline in my Adobe Reader Touch. There is no clear option when I highlight it and write click and the "Ctrl-delete" option is not working either. I need to get rid of both of these. Did them by mistake....simple task but so frustrated that I have spent 30+ minutes trying to figure this out. Please help.

Purchased new Adobe Reader and it's not in Recent Orders so I can download it

I recently purchased the new Adobe Reader software under the education rate. I was informed that my academic eligibility was accepted and to go to "My Orders" page and I will be able to locate the new software there. However, I can't find it anywhere. My Adobe account was set-up with a different e-mail than the e-mail I provided the Adobe salesperson over the phone, I wonder if this is why I can't locate the product. I need help ASAP since my trial runs out today!

What exactly do I need to do?

That means you were probably using Adobe Acrobat to view PDF's. Acrobat is totally unnessary, you can view PDF's in Preview (Applications - Preview).
BTW PLEASE complete your profile. It's very difficult to help someone when they don't provide any information about their system. You can easily do this by clicking Your Stuff in the upper right of this page, then click Profile and fill in the pertinent information.

You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

How good is the new Adobe Reader IOS for fillable forms and interactive pdfs?

At last adobe reader for ios has been updated so now fillable forms can be completed on ipad/iphone but how good is it?
I've tested a form and reset form/print form and save as buttons do not seem to work.
Form submit seems ok, just wondered what others thought?
Also the new Adobe Reader IOS is now able to display interactive pdfs with buttons such as go to next page etc yet page transitions do not work? Again whats everyone elses opinion on the reader ios update?

My preliminary experience is that Reader does better with forms than with interactivity.

I don't believe there is a keyboard shortcut available for that feature. But I believe if you click-select the topmost chapter, and Shift-click the bottommost chapter, it should select them all.
Other shortcuts for books can be set up in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts in the Panel Menus product area. There are no default shortcuts in that area.

Assuming you are running 10.10.2 and not the ancient 10.0.2, can you tell us what printer and printer driver you are using? How is the printer connected to the computer (network, usb)? See if you can delete the Reader preference files? Years ago I resetting the printer subsystem would sometimes cure a problem like this.
