Help with Translation

Hi, I need translate my application to other languages. Exist a document guide especific for this?? Some one can help me??
Sorry form my english...

Hi user566894,
Which language are you translating to? APEX is translated to 10 languages: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32471/global.htm#CHDJFHBD
If you need to translate to another language check this from the APEX Wiki:
http://wiki.shellprompt.net/bin/view/Apex/TranslationCategory
Also check the User's Guide: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32471/global.htm#BABIIDBJ

    edit the post as you're showing your VOIP number (If your BBT number starts 01).
    AFAIK it's something to do the hub phone set up BUT I'm not too sure.

  • Help with MIRO Badi's and Translation Date (Exchange Rate Date Reference)

    Dear experts
    This is a problem I have read a lot about, but none of the answers work properly and I wanted to create a new thread in order to try to compile a final answer for this problem (at least in version 6.0)
    As you know Standar SAP uses posting date as translation date in MIRO for foreign currency.
    This is not always true (imagine Crude Imports with 3 dates: Invoice date, posting date and Bill of Lading date. The last one happens to be the fiscal date for exchange rate in my county and the other two are also mandatory).
    I am proposing thus to use 3 dates: Document date as invoice date; posting date as posting date and Invoice Receipt Date
    (REINDAT - RBKP) as Bill of Lading date. I would like to implement this third date as translation date.
    Lot of ways to do it, but none works properly as for the end user it is complicated to enter data in a certain way so that BADI's work properly. I have implemented note 574583 and only works with some restrictions.
    I have also used some more BADI's like MRM_HEADER_CHECK, FI_TRANS_DATE_DERIVE, INVOICE_UPDATE,... and all of them have some restrictions (depending always in data header taps data introduction or saving the exchange rate properly in MM TABLES but not in FI TABLES).
    I would really appreciate if anyone could help with this, ensuring that the Badi get's always the data and makes it work with no screen selection dependance.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear All,
    I have found the solution with the help of ABAPer. The system has a bug for which SAP has given a  Sap Note no 22781.
    Actually what happened in the Invoice is, the system by default fetched the exchange rate for the Exchange Rate Type 'M' for the rate last maintained. Since we were using different Exchange rate it did not match. Also we came to know about the difference only because off-late the users had stopped updating Exchange Rate 'M' .
    The funny part is in the Invoice if we click on each tab at the header and come back to the first tab where we find the Exchange rate for accounting, the system picks up the actually rate as per the Exchange Rate maintained.
    Regards,
    Karthik.

  • Help with java translator...PLEASE!!!

    I am currently in the process of learning the JAVA language.
    i am having real problems tackling a question about programming a translator, can anyone help with this question?
    - Write a Java class 'German' to model the german dictionary(using only a few phrases, say 4-5). You will need to choose an appropriate representation for the constant dictionary(ignore accents etc), and to provide a method 'Translate' that, given an English phrase, returns the corresponding German phrase. You must also deal with phrases that are not available.
    I hope someone can help...

  • Help with multiple nat translation on a Cisco Nexus 3548

    Hi All,
    I need a little help with a NAT configuration on a cisco Nexus 3548 version 6.0(2)A4(3).
    What currently have is as follows:
    internal network: 192.168.4.0/24
    nexus router (routerA):
      LAN Side: vlan104 interface 192.168.4.201/24
      WAN Side: Eth1/48 interface 172.24.101.2/24
      remote network: 159.43.48.32/27
      remote gateway: 172.24.101.1/24
    use ACL's to ensure that only specific traffic is allowed out and in.
    allow a specific connection from a different internal network (192.168.3.0/24) to talk to port 159.43.48.34:1025
    Clients on the internal network 192.168.4.0, need to be able to connect to services (port 14002, port 8101) running on 159.43.48.34, but they must be SNAT'ed through the WAN interface as coming from 159.43.65.81
    Currently we have this working but the internal lan clients need to know how to get to 159.43.48.34/27 and therefore we need to route this network in our internal network.
    What we really want is to do is provide an address such as 192.168.4.203 for internal clients to use for connectivity to the various services, and then this address would be SNAT'ed to 159.43.65.81 over the WAN. We still want to secure the traffic in both directions.
    In the past i've been able to do this with inside and outside nat's and i haven't had to configure an interface on the router for the internal address, it has just been "stood up" by the nat rules. For example (this is how i've done it before):
    LAN interface
    ip nat outside
    WAN interface
    ip nat inside
    ip nat inside source static159.43.65.81 192.168.4.203
    ip nat outside source static 159.43.65.81 192.168.4.203
    but, trying to implement this sort of config on the Nexus isn't working.
    I am wondering if the Nexus behaves differently than ios based routers.
    I'd appreciate any help to get this config working.
    Thanks in advance,
    Les

    Les
    The issue with an "ip nat outside ..." static is that from the inside routing is done before NAT.
    So what happens is that the destination IP is 192.168.4.203 and the Nexus will do a route lookup, see it is directly connected so it won't forward the packet to the outside interface so it doesn't get translated.
    If you enter "ip nat outside source static 159.43.48.34 192.168.4.203" then on IOS it adds a host specific route to the routing table for 192.168.4.203 as directly connected.
    So you do a ping from a 192.168.3.x client  it looks like it is working but actually the L3 device is simply responding and the packet never gets to the server.
    Apologies for the long winded explanation but NXOS might behave differently and I wanted you to know what to look for.
    So with IOS there is the "add-route" option at the end of the NAT statement and if you use this it would add a host specific route into the routing table like this -
    192.168.4.203 255.255.255.255 159.43.48.34
    this is a recursive route ie. the device must know how to get to 159.43.48.34 but your Nexus should.
    What the above does is make sure any packets arriving at the Nexus for 192.168.4.203 get routed to the outside interface and so are translated.
    So firstly see if that option is available with your NAT statement ie.
    "ip nat outside source static 159.43.48.34 192.168.4.203 add-route"
    if it isn't then try adding just the static statement without it and then have a look at the routing table. If it hasn't put in a host specific route showing as directly connected which it may not, as it may behave differently, then you can manually add a route ie.
    192.168.4.203 255.255.255.255 <next hop IP>
    note that the next hop IP doesn't have to be the server here it could just be the next hop from the Nexus switch. All you are trying to do is get the packet routed to the outside interface.
    Hope that makes sense.
    Edit - one thing I haven't tried is to use a different IP subnet for NAT ie. one that is still part of your internal range but unused and then having a route on the Nexus, in your case, pointing to the outside interface and you redistribute this subnet into your IGP. Then you add the NAT statement.
    What may happen is it still adds a host specific route showing as directly connected but it may not because the Nexus wouldn't actually have a directly connected interface for that subnet.
    I suspect it would though.
    If it did work then it would still mean you didn't need to advertise the public IP internally.
    If I get the chance I'll test it later today.

  • Creation of context sensitive help with pure FM 12 usage doesn't work

    Hi,
    I hope somebody is able to help me with a good hint or tip.
    I am trying to create a context-sensitive Microsoft Help with FM12 only using the abilities of FM (no RoboHelp). For some reasons, my assigned ID's are not used in the generated chm file and therefore the help does not work context-sensitively.
    What did I do?
    - I created my FM files and assigned topic aliases to the headers. I did this two ways: a) using the "Special" menue and assigning a CSH marker and/or b) setting a new marker of type "Topic Alias" and typing the ID. I used only numeric IDs like "2000" or "4200",
    - I created a .h file (projectname.h) - based on the format of the file projectname_!Generated!.h (I read this in some instructions). So the .h file (text file) looks like this:
    #define 2000 2000 /* 4 Anwendungsoberfläche */
    #define 2022 2022 /* 4.1.1 Menü Datei */
    #define 2030 2030 /* 4.1.3 Menü Parametersatz */
    #define 2180 2180 /* 6.6.7 Objektdialog Q-Regler */
    #define 2354 2354 /* 6.9.2 Objektdialog Extran Parameter */
    #define 2560 2560 /* 6.9.5 Objektdialog Extran2D Parametersatz */
    - I published the Microsoft HTML Help. A projectname_!Generated!.h has been created. My IDs were not used in this file:
    #define 2000    1
    #define 2022    2
    #define 2030    3
    #define 2180    4
    #define 2354    5
    #define 2560    6
    - When I open the .chm file and look in the source code, the ID even is totally different. It is not the one, I assigned in FM, it is not the one which I assigned in the projectname.h file and it even is not the one, which was put in the projectname_!Generated!.h file. It is a generated name starting with CSH_1 ...n in a consecutive way numbered.
    Example:
    <p class="FM_Heading1"><a name="XREF_72066_13_Glossar"></a>Gloss<a name="CSH_1"></a>ar</p>
    What goes wrong? Why does FM not take my assigned IDs? I need to use these IDs since our programmers are using those already - I had to re-create the whole online help but the programs stay untouched.
    Please help!
    Many thanks
    Mohi

    Hi Jeff,
    thanks for your note!
    The text in my marker is just a number like "2000" or "4200". As said, I created manually a my.h file and used this marker there. E.g.
    #define 2000 2000.
    Whereby the first 2000 (in my opinion) is the marker text and the second 2000 is the context ID which the programmers are using for the context sensitive call of the help. My definitions in the my.h file were translated to #define 2000 1 (in the my_!Generated!.h file). The source code "translates" the context ID into CSH_8.
    I am still confused :-/
    Thanks
    Mohi

  • Please I need some help with a table

    Hi All
    I need some help with a table.
    My table needs to hold prices that the user can update.
    Also has a total of the column.
    my question is if the user adds in a new price how can i pick up the value they have just entered and then add it to the total which will be the last row in the table?
    I have a loop that gets all the values of the column, so I can get the total but it is when the user adds in a new value that I need some help with.
    I have tried using but as I need to set the toal with something like total
        totalTable.setValueAt(total, totalTable.getRowCount()-1,1); I end up with an infinite loop.
    Can any one please advise on some way I can get this to work ?

  • Help with systemd problems/reply to closed thread

    @Everyone; as the previopus topic was closed, I am opening a new one here, partly to reply to some things that was said to me in the previous thread/topic (and I do not like to leave people hanging), but mainly to try and get some help with my systemd config (that I was not able to find help with in the wiki or manpages).
    @czubek; eww, that sounds rather similiar to some other operating systems I've heard of (not just, but obviously including, windows)... For me, subjectively, that is not very attractive, as being able to have a single application do a single thing, and then mixing and matching as I personally see fit is a great thing.
    @tomegun: I can indeed see your point, but if I made direct quotes on all the things I reply too, my posts would reach biblical proportions.
    Mmm-hmm, I do indeed know of "the Arch Way"; however, the system that you expose can be of varying complexity as well, and I found that the system that was presented to me by way of Sysvinit/initscripts was a way simpler system than that presented to me by systemd.
    Indeed, and I do like that; I enjoy knowing how my system works and learning more about it; however, the truth is that reading manpages and the wiki isn't always enough. And I use the numbers instead of letters in certain places as a jest, please, do not get offended by that; if you have to, get offended by my opinions.
    Ah, I have now scanned the wiki, the manpages, and have already faced problems. While part of me is saddened by this fact (as I was hoping for a smooth transition to systemd), part of me is glad that I can at least prove that everything isn't quite as simple as some people would make it out to be. More on this later in this post, as I do need help with the problems I have faced.
    And I wouldn't say that the new and old way are equally trivial, as I immediatley faced problems with "the new way". More on this later.
    Ok, I find that if the debate is polarized, then there is nothing wrong with describing it as such. I spell what I see.
    Oh my... Ignored as a matter of principle? I would say that that is an excellent way to stagnate; by that logic, moviemakers, gamemakers etcetera should ignore any and all criticism they recieve, as the critics are not contributing.... Wouldn't that lead to a complete halt in development? Isn't criticism (so long as it is constructive, obviously) a key component of (media/software) evolution?
    Ah, I see, then I  misunderstood the current state of the install media
    "Some adjustements"... Well, I guess we'll have to see how that goes, then. Hopefully it'll be smooth.
    @Everyone; Awebb possesses stunning accuracy as far as his observations go.
    @zb3; My point exactly.
    @tomegun; I believe you to be wrong; complaining (but not whining) is the first step towards improvement, as I think that I and zb3 has shown.
    Further, your last point (where you talk about "deep understanding of Y" and whatnot) is basically saying that only devs and programmers can contribute, so zb3's observation would be correct.
    Also, making suggestions is part of constructive criticism; you can do that even if you can't code, e.g. by saying "X works badly because it makes Y crash; couldn't we replace X with something akin to Z?". This is a valid point even if you have no intricate understanding of X, Y or Z, and if it is impossible to replace X for one reason or the other, it's not hard to reply with "Replacing X is impossible because of reason Q", and then see if someone can solve reason Q etcetera.
    zb3's example is obviously helping; for one, it would allow people to know taht they can't boot with systemd in certain cases, or that installing/runing systemd can break their system. I would consider that rather important information.
    @Everyone; Now then, to see if I can (or rather, if I can get help to) shed some light on some problems I've been having.
    My transition to systemd went pretty smooth (besides the fact that I couldn't use 'systemctl' to set anything, and neither duckduckgo nor any posts in the forums could help me (the error I continously got was "Failed to issue method call: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 1") and that there are no manpages/tips on how to configure the files for "localtime" and "adjtime", which would've been good considering some syntax have changed) to about halfway through, to the point where I was supposed to start using systemd for my daemons.
    Now then, to the main problem; first, I tried running
    "systemctl enable syslog-ng.service"
    and got the following message;
    "ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/syslog-ng.service' '/etc/systemd/system/syslog.service'
    ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/syslog-ng.service' '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/syslog-ng.service'"
    Since it doesn't exclusively say that something went wrong (at least as far as I can understand), I pondered the message a bit, but moved on to try and start dbus by issuing
    "systemctl enable dbus.service",
    to which I got the reply
    "The unit files have no [Install] section. They are not meant to be enabled using systemctl."
    This I can only assume is an error message of some sort, especially seeing as it says "not meant to be enabled using systemctl", but the wiki rather explicitly states that that is what I am supposed to do.
    I dare not move on (or attempt to start other daemons) without further advice, as I fear I might break my system. Any ideas as to how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

    tcmdvm wrote:
    The message;
    "ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/syslog-ng.service' '/etc/systemd/system/syslog.service'
    ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/syslog-ng.service' '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/syslog-ng.service'"
    indicates that running "systemctl enable syslog.service" is now enabled.
    If you try running sytemtctl enable <whatever>.service and get
    "The unit files have no [Install] section. They are not meant to be enabled using systemctl." means there is no <whatever>.service file available to enable.
    The dbus.service as far as I know is already enabled when installing systemd and doesn't require any action.
    Ah, right, systemd is chatty (I'm of the old skool; if nothing is/goes wrong, a program should keep quiet).
    Oh ok, then I should dare more on.
    ZekeSulastin wrote:To be a bit more precise, it means the service is there but it's only used as a dependency for something else; the [Install] section of the file is what tells systemctl where to link it and such.  Also, where exactly in the wiki were you told explicitly to 'systemctl enable dbus.service'?  I can easily point you to the sections in both installation guides that tell you how to set things like /etc/localtime et. al (also `man 7 archlinux`), but not the one that said to manually enable dbus.
    Ah, I see; and well, I was told right here, going from the top, to "Enable Daemons formerly listed in rc.conf [...] For a translation of the daemons from /etc/rc.conf to systemd services, see: List of Daemons and Services.", and, using the list, dbus is mentioned there, as you can see. Since I started from the top, I did not know that you didn't need to enable that service. Perhaps it could be added to the descriptions of the relevant services in the Wiki which ones are autostarted?
    ZekeSulastin wrote:Lastly, I don't think trying to continue conversations from a closed thread is a very good idea, let alone doing it in a giant undivided wall of text that makes it quite difficult to pick out much any single topic.
    Meh, I directly refer to the relevant people, they can easily see their own old posts in the previous thread, etcetera... I think te ones who have something to say will be able to find my replies to their previous statements (or so I hope). For now, as everyone can see, I quote stuff (but man might I make some huge posts if I ever post again in the future, if I quote what I reply to).
    fsckd wrote:This is not really a technical support subforum. Moving from Arch Discussion to Newbie Corner.
    Ah ok, thanks (or perhaps a cautious thanks? Moving it to "newbie corner" might, after all, be a subtle insult...).
    tomegun wrote:It is not really possible to follow your message as you don't quote what you are replying to. Moreover, as the thread was closed I think that means we should stop the discussion ;-)
    Hmm, I think it means cop-out for lack or proper arguments/responses... But ok, I'll let it slide, for now (mainly as I can't do much else).
    tomegun wrote:You are not meant to enable dbus.service as it is enabled unconditionally. To check the enabled/disabled state of your services try "systemctl list-unit-files". "static" means that you are not supposed to enabled/disable it.
    Ah ok, thank you. Now, having abandoned all hope, I'll start configuring again and see how it goes... May the void protect me. If I die, grieve not for me, but remember me in the fight against hard-to-configure applications.
    (edit/addon)
    Actually, what am I supposed to do with "hwclock"? the List of Daemons only says that I shouldn't run that in tandem with ntpd, but I'm not running ntpd, so... How do I get hwclock with systemd?
    Edited for additional question.

  • Help with a PowerPivot query

    Hi,
    I've got a server audit log in PowerPivot (114,000 rows) which I provide some basic reporting from (PowerPivot is not my specialist subject so go easy).  What I now need to perform a Distinct filter, but can't get the logic right. Basically the log
    as two bits of information, 1) is the source of the job and 2) if it was a success or failure.    What I need to do is to find all of the Source items that have never completed sucessfully.  Any ideas on what formula is best to use, or
    do I need to split in to multiple sheets and create a table relationship?
    Source,Status
    ======,======
    Source1,Fail
    Source1,Fail
    Source1,Success
    Source2,Fail
    Source3,Fail
    Source3,Success
    So in the above example, I would only expect the filter to show me Source2
    Thanks
    Alex

    Hi Alex,
    using Power Query instead, it would work like this:
    Once you've pushed your table to PQ, add a column "helper" with value=1.
    Then pivot on "Status", taking "helper"-column into "values column"
    (hope translation is understandable, as I'm using localized Version & translation via "Quick info" isn't working in the PQ menu)
    Then filter on column "Success" = blank.

    Hi
    I have tested in my computer and it worked well.
    Normally when we type a wrong spelling, right clicking the word does not give a list with translate and synonyms.
    Check to make sure your spelling is right.
    if the issue persists, Start Word in safe mode to check the issue:Hold "Ctrl" key and click into the program.
    It is also recommended that you do a repair for your Office suites in

  • Help with determining PANTONE swatches accurately

    I've recently designed a logo for an event. It's a 3-color design done entirely using process colors. The client would like the PANTONE equivalent of each color, however, and I'm having a lot of trouble figuring this all out (I'm a bit of a prepress newbie).
    First of all, I have a lot of questions about the LAB view vs. CMYK view for spot colors in Illustrator:
    1) The difference between the two is HUGE. In CMYK view, there is less subtlty, but the colors are vibrant and versatile. In LAB view, I can access certain colors I can't otherwise get, but most of the palette is desaturated and muddy. Is it supposed to be this way?
    2) Supposedly, the LAB view for spot colors is relatively new in Illustrator. Considering how far off-base the CMYK versions of each spot swatch is, how was anyone getting work done before this feature was added? I don't understand how I could have even hoped to do spot color work using the CMYK swatches in older versions. They're entirely different colors in many cases. I must be missing something.
    3) Is it accurate to say that, monitor calibration notwithstanding, and all other things being equal, the LAB view of a given spot color is more "accurate" than the CMYK version? If this is the case, the PANTONE uncoated library of solids is incredibly dull and muddy, because that's how it looks in LAB mode. I've been browsing a physical PANTONE book as well, and the colors don't appear to be nearly as bad in real life. My monitor may not be perfect, but I can't believe it's so poorly calibrated that the colors could look THIS different.
    4) When viewing my work in LAB view, one of my colors translates perfectly from CMYK, while another doesn't even come close when attempting to match it with a spot color. In CMYK view, it's reversed-- the first color looks terrible, while the second actually comes pretty close. Which version can I trust? They're total opposites, making the final selection of a single swatch impossible. I'm not sure what to give my client-- if they're using an older version of Illustrator (which is likely), they'll have to see this in CMYK mode, and it will look terrible. Even a PDF I exported doesn't look right in Acrobat. How should I be approaching this?
    As you can see, the seemingly simple task of selecting PANTONE swatches for 3 CMYK colors has turned into a bit of a mess. Any help with these confusions of mine would be hugely appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Aleister,
    my simple advice concerning Spots, is this:
    Buy a swatch book for Pantone Spot Coated and a swatch
    book for CMYK for your Process Coated, as recommended
    by your printing company (here ISO Coated, maybe SWOP
    elsewhere).
    Then compare visually the chosen Spot and a matching
    process color.
    If there is no good match, then you can print only
    by Spot.
    If you've found matching pairs, then you can print
    letterheads by Spots and 4-color brochures by CMYK.
    Personally, I'm using as equivalents for Spots only
    two-color process colors, if e.g. a logo has to be
    designed. This leads to minimal registration errors.
    Another ugly truth is, that even an accurately calibrated
    proof printing system by inkjet cannot reproduce plenty
    Spots sufficiently accurate.
    Meanwhile you may try to investigate all this by a true
    Lab doc for common Spots:

  • Problem with translation transport

    hello everybody,
    I have an application with two corresponding transport requests (this is because I would like to transport to different systems only part of the functionality of the app). Recently a translator made an English translation of my application which resulted in a new transport request with about 100 new objects. I would like to distribute accordingly these objects to the two old transport requests ( respectively the two parts of the app). Is there a way to do this, to find out which translation object belongs where?
    Thanks
