Help with usb connecter for logic

Help please...... I have a cord that inputs into my guitar and at the other end it's a usb, i got it so i could record in logic, i set everything up i have no problems input wise but i can't hear anything unless i disconnect the usb.... i know the problem is in logic not my laptop cause i can still hear itunes and whatever else through my headphones but i wanna be able to record with the usb and hear the metronome or drumtrack at the same time... is there anyway this is possible?

Set the USB guitar input as Master Clock, set the Builtin In/Out to resample.
Set the Aggregate Device (whatever you name it) as the audio device in Logic.
You will have more inputs and outputs in Logic and there's no telling how thaty will be unumbered, Logic's funny that way. Experiment.

Help with usb connections please

I am a new macbook pro user... first thing i noticed was only 2 usb ports which for me is an issue as i use a logitech mouse that needs usb for its mini receiver, a lapdesk cooling pad which needs a usb and my wifi broadband that uses usb... now the problem i have is the usb connections are so close together that when i put my wifi usb dongle in there is not enough space between the ports to put the usb plug for my hub in.... i cant put the dongle in the hub as i lose significent speed... any ideas to help me out would be appreciated

One thing you might try is a short USB male-to-female extension cable for the dongle -- one whose plug is narrower than the dongle and will allow you to plug your hub into the other built-in USB port.

In any case I would suggest to get an audio interface which is *Core Audio* compatible. This means that you just need to plug it in and it will work with OS X’s integrated driver. I once had an M-Audio interface which needed its own driver and it had latency problems because of them. I am currently using the EDIROL FA-66 with 10.6.3 on my MacBook Pro. I have also heard good things about the FireWire interfaces from Presonus, like the FireBox.

IPhone Issues with USB Connection and Bluetooth in GM cars

I recently purchased a 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS/TC and it has a USB connection for an iPod. Prior to the 2.1 updated the USB connection worked flawless as well did my handsfree/bluetooth. I had the Apple Genius Bar check my iPhone for any issues due to a corrupt update but everything turned up fine. When i connect to my car I receive an error message (iPod Did Not Authenticate. Check iPod Version). Also my bluetooth will sync but when you answer the phone using hands free you get no audio from the iPhone or speakers in the car. I used a friends iPod and everything worked fine but when I connect with a new iPod it displays the same error. I have contacted GM but they said talk to Apple.
If anyone can help please let me know.

Well you got me thinking about your question, and I guess I didn't get it the first time. Again, I own the same car - 09 Chevy Cobalt SS/TC, Black. A lot of fun! I plugged my iPhone into the radio USB connection and get the same error. The GM radio does not support the iPhone. It will not authenticate. The GM radios' firmware is looking for an iPod, not an iPhone. That is expected. As far as the iPhone and it's Bluetooth, again the iPhone's Bluetooth hands free works fine, except I cannot answer the iPhone during an incoming call without first unlocking the iPhone then pressing the mute button on the steering wheel. For what it's worth the iPhone will charge through the USB connection. I'm a little confused on what you are trying to connect. Bottom line, an iPod should always work, an iPhone, not at all. Lastly, I have purchased the GM Personal Audio Link (PAL) and hope to use it with my iPod so I can put the iPod in the glove compartment. Although I have heard a lot of negative comments and issues with it for being slow and sluggish. If so, I'll be sending it back and I'll stay with the USB connection. I'll let you know how that works.

Couldn't create jco client connection for logical system

Dear Experts,
we are facing a strange issue in our custom webdynpro java application, few of our portal users are getting the "couldn't create jco client connection for logical system" for Model Data JCO Destination. below are details
1. portal version 7.02 SP14 (we have recently updated to SP14 from SP02-- is this is causing the issue ?)
1.1. updated the NWDI track with SP14 SCA files as well as added latest WD Runtime SCA file deployed the applications to Production also.
2. above said exception is inconsistent and happening for only few users
3. ping and test of jco destinations are successfull in content administration as well as in SLD, destinations were added in the SLD system.
4. cleared the JCO ARFC meta data cache in webdynpro console
5. jco destinations are configured using uid/pwd, configured user is not locked active and tested in the backend by logging in with the same user.
6. restarted the portal server
even though, we are getting the above said exception for few of portal users randomly.
Please help me on this ASAP, as i am not getting any further help on this.

Hello Ram,
Check the JCo Pool Configuration settings of your JCO Destination. This message normally comes when the maximum connections has been reached. Increase the "Maximum Connections" to some number depending on the usage. A good habit is to disconnect the jco connection after executing the same in your webdynpro code if you don't want it to be synchronous.
<ModelName>.modelInstance().disconnectIfAlive()

My Mac Mini will charge - but not sync with - USB-connected devices (ipod, camera, memory card reader). I have tried unplugging the devices, restarting the computer, selectively unplugging and plugging in the devices, closing and opening the relevant applications (iTunes, iPhoto, etc). I have tried using different USB cables.
It's like all of a sudden the synching service stopped functioning or recognizing these devices for some reason. The other ports work just fine (monitor).
The only USB-connected external device that appears to be unaffected is the USB SuperDrive and it works on all the USB ports into which I plug it.
How do I fix this?

Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens or doesn't happen.

Iphone while getting On showing itunes logo with usb connection

Dear Sir,
I was upaditng my iphone 4s for from IOS 5.1.1 to IOS 6.1.2 by connecting with a personnel hotspot wifi connection. While doing this my iphone got switch OFF and then automatically got ON and the showing " Itunes logo with usb connection with up arrow".
Also i tried to switch OFF and ON 2 to 3 times but still showing same.
Can you please assist me , what i have to do now, to get my Iphone ON as normal like before.

im not shure but if you get an 3.5 mm sterio headphone jack and plug that in your car and shuffle it should work just as good

Turn off your printer.
Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan > Printers window and delete the printer from the list, then add it back.
Turn on your printer.
Any difference?

I simply require an Applescript for Midipipe that filters out all OFF notes except for the most recently pressed key, or most recently pressed ON note. So for example, when multiple keys have been pressed, only the most recently pressed key will send an OFF note. For this to work, your buttons need to have the same artwork in the hit frame as they do in the up frame.

HT201210 my new iphone 4 is stuck with "USB connect to itunes". I put it in recovery mode last night, but it doesn't change. Itunes recognizes the phone and says it's in recovery mode, but when I do a restore, nothing changes.

then I click the restore button
Then the box says "Are you sure you want to restore the iphone to it's factory settings? all of your.....etc." I click Restore and Update
then it goes into software update
at the end of the software update it says "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode...."
All this time, the screen of the iphone stays on with USB to Itunes
I might add that while the phone was in it's first attempt at recovery mode, it was accidentally unplugged.

Help with USB for front Panel on case!!

Ive got the K7N2G mobo and Im trying to connect to JBT1 for Front USB.. it mentions bluetooth connection but it also talks about it being for USB.. Pleas help.. am i missing a bios setting? How else can i get the front sub ports to work on my case?

You got mixed up, JBT1 shares a USB connection with a USB header. If you use JBT1 for bluetooth you must give up one of the USB ports but you can't use JBT1 for USB.
And I moved you over to the nvidia/sis section since you posted in the VIA section.
