Help with watching a kinect video
Im not very good with this whole tech stuff and i need help.. My friends and I just got done playing a kinect game and afterwords there is a video of us playing the game.. It said that if you wanted to share to click here so I did and then it said to go
to kinectshare.com to share your video... So I did that and for some reason I cant find the video...Did I do something wrong?? Or did I miss a step?? Please help

The reason you see a blank page is because it's trying to load the file that is pretty humungous and there is no preloader. So, you see a white screen till it complets loading.
Also, the reason why its loading a SWF file and not any of HTML5 type video is because your doctype declaration is XHTML1.0 and not HTML5.
Change the 1st line in your .html file from:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
to:
<!DOCTYPE html>
Then see if your HTML5 video types load with <video> tag. -
Please help with Watch Folders functionality
I am currently using Elements 11 and cannot get my "Watch Folder" function to stay activated. I have tried averything Adobe has told me to do and it will not stay activated. I can go to START > type in "SERVICES" in the search> activate the "Adobe Active File Monitor V11" to start the service, move photos into my folders, and when I am not notified that there are new items in my catalog, I go back through to the services listing and it has shut off. So all the items I moved into the folders are not registering with Elements catalog and I cannot tag them to bring them up later. Upon exhausting all the ideas that Adobe had for me, my last attempt was to start a new catalog, which involves retagging all my pngs because they do not carry the keyword tags with their metadata. This is not helping either. Has anyone else had an issue with this? And more importantly, a solution? I am wondering if there is a problem with possibly another setting in my computer that might cause this to malfunction? Or possibly something I need to download (or remove) that could be interfering with this function? If anyone has any input, I would be very grateful.

If I understand well, you have a kind of folder organization like this:
/My Pictures
and many subfolders under it, among which subfolders you have 'need to organize', 'backgrounds', 'animals', flowers'...
If you manually have the organizer to 'get photos and videos from files and folders', and point to the My Pictures, it will catch any new files under 'My Pictures', provided you have checked the option to 'include subfolders'.
Even if this works perfectly and reasonably quickly, you may think it is unnecessary to browse all your pictures to make the process still quicker.
My suggestion is to have a subfolder hierarchy with a folder named 'photo input' and subfolders according to your needs:
- photos from camera (tip : use the preference menu to tell the downloader to store your downloaded photos there)
- photos from scans (same tip as above, you can tell the default save location of your scans)
- image contents (for your libraries of scrapbooking contents'
It's easy to 'get ...' either from the 'My Pictures' main folder or only one of those master subfolders
Another tip : I often get many photos from the mail or the Web, my browser saves them in a temporary folder : I copy them to another main subfolder named 'photos from web'. -
New to Macs and need help with communication error in video chat
Hello! I have the same problem with video chatting that many others are having with errors -7 and -8. I am brand new to macs, and while I understand what the other threads are talking about about changing ports and settings, I don't exactly know how to do those things on my new system (iMac with OS X tiger 10.4.8). My quicktime settings are set to 1.5 and my iChat port is changed to 443. I have been able to connect with one person via iChat video on a different network, but I was given the above errors when I tried to connect with someone else tonight. I am using my built in airport with a Lynksys WRT54G broadband router. Please let me know how I can go about fixing this problem. Thank you!

I need help with my 30gb ipod video
I just got one this weekend and i used the new itunes 7 to convert about 23 videos and then i put them on my ipod. When I try watch any of them I only see video and dont hear anythnig. I know my head phones work because I can listen to my music that i put on it.
is there a step or something im missing?The file is most likely an MPEG (.mpg) file. The audio and video tracks are merged.
If you use iTunes or QuickTime Pro to convert it, it will only convert the video track and remove the audio.
I recommend getting an MP4 Converter program.

Help with html code - inserting video into Muse
I am seeking help writing the code to insert a video into Muse. I uploaded video into my Business Catalyst hosting. I need it to autoplay, loop and not show any controls or frames.
When I host video on Vimeo or YouTube, I see markings on the video that is why I am trying to just host in the same place that the files are stored for my website. If there is a way to host on youtube with out any markings showing up on the video I would be open to that too.
I don't want to see any play button or time bar.

Just as an FYI - we also have an HTML5 video tool over at MuseThemes.com that achieves this, but works on mobile devices as well. The link above looks like it uses Flash, which isn't common anymore since the release of HTML5 based video.
Simply drag the widget out onto your canvas, and link up your videos / set options like loop, controls visible, etc. It's quite a flexible widget, and there's a complete training video included so you don't get stuck

Am using a good camera. Have done one video before and it turned out good. The video from the camera is not blurry at all. Just now. I need help.
Using Pre. Elements 8.It is a new Sony with an 80 G hard drive. Don't know the Model number - it is being used by a friend right now. I have taken other video and made a DVD and it was just fine.
I am not sure what the Project preset means.
I did not have any effects on them, but added some to see if it would makee a difference. It did not.
I do see blurriness in the Timeline, but origianlly the clips were not like that. Nothing special about the clips.
Yes, bluriness observed on a TV. Tried 2 different DVD players, but again, I can see the bluriness in the Timeline now, but I couldn't before.
I just looked at the original of one of the clips and there is no bluriness.
It seems to me in happened after I rendered the files. Is there a way to unrender them without losing all the movie?

I need some help figuring out why the link to my Mp4 movies
are not working. I created my website in Dreamweaver on a mac. On
the video page I have direct link to several Mp4 movies which are
located is the dame folder as the website is on a remote server.
The direct link/path is correct but when the link is clicked I get
a "This page cannot be found page". I also tried embedding the mp4
into the video page and when the page is viewed I get a Q with a
question mark over it. I also have links to wmv movies and those
links all work and play fine. I just don't understand why wmv links
work and mp4 links don't. I would link to know if there is an
incompatibility problem and/or some technical issue with mp4's that
causing the link not to work. I have attached the code I used to
embed the mp4 and I believe it is correct. If anyone can shed some
light on this topic I would greatly appreciate it. Thank

I need help with my ipod's videos...plzzzzz!!
im having troubles putting videos on my ipod and yesterday it was suggested to me to first convert them with videora. they seem to convert but once they do they just seem to disappear and when i ask the videos to open with itunes(the unconverted ones) it only opens itunes not the vidoe in it.. HELP is greatly appreciated.
If the files are unconverted, then itunes cant open them. Also, they dont disappear. When u converted the files, there was a spot that the converter put the converted files. Find where that is and add it to your library

Help with geforce 5700 msi video problems
im getting video problems with msi geforce 5700 td 128 im not using the drivers supplied with the card because it messed up my system and couldnt run different res and colours. im using nvidias latest drivers instead. i dont have probs running games and such but the problem comes from playing videos. i tried many types of players and it seems that everytime i play something, it becomes very white and the colours dont match right they warp and such.. please help me

AHHH! Help with iTunes 8 Music Video sorting
I upgraded to the iTunes 8 today, and when I do the brand new search thingy with music, its all weird for just one artists
Ill go search by artist in my library, and when i for example click 'rihanna'
It shows all her music videos i have (which is like 5) under ONE album called "Unknown Album" where all my other artists music videos have seperate albums for each!

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!I hate this as well. There's no rhyme or reason as to when/why iTunes sometimes looks at the Album entry of the video's tag. For example, I have some videos with no album name listed in the Info-Album field and the video will show:
Song Name
Artist Name
(and will use a "poster frame", as QuickTime calls it, from the video itself)
But at other times, and the problem we're both frustrated at, when the Album info is blank iTunes will show:
Unknown Album
Artist Name
(and will use a poster frame from one of the many videos you may have by that artist. In your example pic, it looks like iTunes is using the poster frame for the "I Hate That I Love You" video by Rihanna...even though you have 5 different videos by her.)
The only fix I could find was to either:
1) enter the actual album name that the video is from (i.e. Good Girl Gone Bad) into the Info-Album field. Then, if you have a song file from the same artist/album (with the associated album artwork for that song) iTunes will use the album art for Cover Flow but will display the poster frame for the selection window in the lower left corner of iTunes.
2) enter the song's name with a period at the end (i.e. "I Hate That I Love You.") into the Info-album field. You'll see that the "Unknown Album" will disappear and will now show as such:
Song Name.
Artist Name
(will use the poster frame from the video for both Cover Flow and the selection window in the lower left)
You don't have to enter the song name with a period at the end, that's just the method I used. Realize though, iTunes will list whatever name you use for the album field of the video into the Album list of your iTunes/iPod library. (i.e. - you'd then have an album named I Hate That I Love You. showing under Albums).
I hope the advice wasn't too confusing. I wish iTunes wouldn't force you to enter an Album name for a video either. -
Help with menu customization and video "previews"
Hello. Thanks in advance for any answers to my question that are offered.
I just bought a 160GB iPod classic. I have been busy filling it up with music and videos, and had a couple of seemingly simple questions that I am finding it hard to find answers for in all the documentation.
First: Is there any possible way to separate videos into categories in such a way that they would not all be immediately visible from the video menu?
Second: Is there a way to turn off the splash screen preview shots randomly displayed when "videos" is selected in the menu? This is the same feature that displays random album art from the music library when "Music" is selected. I would be happy to just turn this feature off altogether to avoid those random stills from showing up when "Videos" is selected.
Let's just say that there are some videos on my iPod that I don't necessarily want popping up all the time, either in the menu or in those preview stills mentioned in my second question. Is there no way to somehow compartmentalize my videos, separating them into different categories between those suitable for the general public and those not? And if this is not possible, could I not at least deactivate these still shots that randomly display images from my less than suitable for public viewing videos?

Help with volume slider for video player
I'm trying to set up a slider that will adjust the volume of
the video that is playing. I currently have a slider that adjusts
the progress of the video that works just fine. I set my volume
slider up the same way (as far as making it slide and the bounds
it's contained within) but it fails to actually be draggable. I
click on the slider and it disappears from view instead of allowing
me to drag it. It's been a while since I've done any AS work and
I'm struggling to figure out the problem here as everything appears
to be correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can view
