ok people i installed the 7 itunes version for my30GB video pod but now that i connect my ipod it wont do anything it wont update the songs i have on the music library says do i want to instal the 1.2 software version to my ipod i said yes now it says....the ipod "armando vega ipod" could not be updated an unknown error occured(1417)what does that mean what do i do do i reset my ipod? i had installed the disc i got withthe ipod on my friends computer first when i got it now i did it off the site on my own computer. is this the problem?Help plz

well songs from my computer are downloading and so are my photos after i choose to not install the 1.2 version and it said that my ipod was connected with another library and if i wanted to sync with the new library i said yes but it deleted my old songs i had wheni go tit off my friends computer.Do i really need this 1.2 version? even when i try to install it now that i had to update it still wontinstall it.but why are my videos not downloading that i have on my computer theay are videos i have on adobe photoshop is it not compatible they are videos i have from my cellphone a sony ericsoon W600i. Yep you are correct. Trust me I have spent the last 2 weeks going crazy over this. I had the same issue. I even went out and bought the newest version..snow leopard software but because my mac is older it didnt have enough RAM to support that new version. I needed the original leopard which they no longer sell. After spending an hour on the phone with a rep telling me I needed to buy a new mac I made an appointment at the genius bar at the apple store. The people in store are much more helpful. They no longer sell the regular leopard version but they were apple to install it for me there in about an hour. I am out the money spent on snow leopard but at this point am just happy that I finally was able to get itunes. Hope this helps.

I can't launch the app'. Has anyone else noted a problem with mfc100.dll file? (The message returned when I try to launch DW points to this as being the problem.) I've tried reinstalling it but the same thing occurs. To test, and make sure it wasn't my computer or my error, I also downloaded Muse, which works fine.

can someone please help me? i can't get the itunessetup to work...i keep getting the 1606 error. i've deleted my temp folder, turned my "protections" off, updated windows, ran ikernel update, reinstalled itunes, downloaded the standalone quicktime...i don't know what else to do! ;o( i tried following the instructions from one of the threads (error 1606)...but there's a step there that tells me to go to a registry key and find the "administrative tools" folder...i don't see that folder (i am the admin and owner of this computer by the way)
