Windows 7, 64-bit, fully up-to-date as of
today (March 5th, 2010)
Photoshop CS4( 64-bit) v 11.0.1
Wacom Intuos4 (large) tablet. Driver 6.1.4-3
Wacom standard Intuos4 pen and Intuos4 "airbrush".
(Wacom diagnostics show the airbrush wheel to be fully operational.)
Problem:
I can find NO WAY to have ANY affect whatsoever on any Photoshop brush with the airbrush wheel. I have read and used suggestions in the Wacom document "Intuos Airbrush Tips", which points to the Photoshop "brushes panel".
Wacom Technical Support points me to Adobe, and I have been unable to get help from them.
NAPP pointed me to the Wacom document referred to above.
Can anyone please help me? I would like to be able to control brush diameter with the airbrush wheel. (yes, yes, I AM able to control diameter using the "dial" on the side of the Intuos4 tablet, but I want to do so using the airbrush wheel.)
I'm beginning to wonder if there are fundamental problems with CS4. I also observe that my ColorMunki support SW cannot automatically configure CS4 as it could with previous versions...

I'm well aware of challenges associated with taking care of SW bugs that only become apparent after product releases, having been involved with SW development for a LOT of years before I retired. You have my sympathy!
HOWEVER, I firmly believe that it is the developer's best interests to be up-front and inform customers/users about such "problems". Doing so tends to de-fuse negative feelings of frustration and reduce wasted efforts on the part of those customers/users. After all, Adobe has all the information obtained during product registration, so could easily send periodic communications to their registered user base. It seems clear from my recent searches that Adobe tends to be pretty uncommunicative regarding problems with Photoshop - and that "position" appears to have caused users quite a bit of frustration in the customer base.
I've used Adobe SW for many years and have been pretty happy with it. However, I don't remember ever receiving a friendly e-mail that treats me as a valued customer by warning me against trying to use some obtuse sequence, or combination of controls.
Would it be your expectation that the Photoshop CS4/Intuos 4 compatibility issues might be addressed by a downloadable bugfix before the next major CS release, or would you anticipate that users will have to purchase upgraded products in order to obtain the fixes?

Five ways to eject a stuck CD or DVD from the optical drive
Ejecting the stuck disc can usually be done in one of the following ways:
1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
      left mouse button until the disc ejects.
2. Press the Eject button on your keyboard.
3. Click on the Eject button in the menubar.
4. Press COMMAND-E.
5. If none of the above work try this: Open the Terminal application in
      your Utilities folder. At the prompt enter or paste the following:
        /usr/bin/drutil eject
If this fails then try this:
Boot the computer into Single-user Mode. At the prompt enter the same command as used above. To restart the computer enter "reboot" at the prompt without quotes.

TS1398 I have tried all of the above and am still unable to connect to my home broadband, the pc is fine and so was the itouch up until yesterday, any help would be gratefully received.

Yesterday my wifi would not work on my itouch, it has been fine since purchasing. Today I have tried everything mentioned by supporters including restoring the itouch, but just get the message "unable to join the network". Anyone have any more tips?

Are you positive you are entering in the correct password? Have you tried rebooting the router by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds or so?
What happens if you head to Settings -> General -> Reset, tap Reset Network Settings, and then try to reconnect to your home Wi-Fi network.

Hi. I am having problems connecting to the wifi at my caravan site. My iPad recognises the connection but when I put the password in correctly it says it cannot connect. I have reset my network settings in general but it has made no difference . Any ideas?

Some may not be applicable.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Further to the above I have now discovered that I have two iCloud accounts in my notes so there are two icloud folders !!
If I delete one, then all the notes are deleted from the other one. If I move all the notes from one into the other then the empty one is populated with two of everything !!
Dont want to uncheck Notes in iCloud as there is a drop down box that advises that all notes will be removed from my Mac if I take that action

A reset has nothing to do with Internet access or data access.
A reset is simply pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.
What are you really trying to do?

HT1918 despite changing my apple twice id somebody in N. America/Canada is downloading games from my account. the website does not give me any recourse to correct this and track who is doing this. Any suggestion would be gratefully received

Camera Raw in CS4. I have applied the Camera Raw 5.7 update to my CS4 Photoshop. It works fine in Photoshop, but only shows the NEF icon from my DS3 files in Bridge. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

I have installed Photoshop CS4 on a new PC as my other has all but died. I applied the Camera Raw 5.7 update for CS4 to take care of the NEF files from my Nikon D3S. This works fine when opening NEF file, but in Bridge it only shows the NEF icon.

Hi! On her iPad, go to Settings > General > Usage and that will show you what apps (I'm suspecting it could be Photos and Camera.) are taking most of the space on it. The extra iCloud storage will not increase local storage on the iPad itself.
