Helpdesk - Change Creator in Ver 7.4.00065
I exclusively have tickets created by emails. I have upgraded very recently to 7.4 and now noticed that I can't seem to change the creator of tickets when they are unassigned or assigned. The problem is that often users email directly to me and I then create a ticket and change the creator to be them. Also every once in a while I get a ticket created by SPAMMERS and I want to change the creator so that when I close the ticket it doesn't send a response to the SPAMMERS that this email account is active.
This topic first appeared in the Spiceworks Community
We often put tickets in for our users, which results in us occasionally forgetting to change the creator from us to the user in question. I used to be able to just change the creator by clicking in the field & typing in the correct person's name.
Since our upgrade to 7.4, I can no longer do this. Is there a different way of doing that now or has that functionality been taken away?

Change creator id of purchase order ?
Hello,
I am working on SRM 5.0 , Extended classic scenario.
In SRM, after creating a shopping cart, the creator id of the corresponding purchase order is WF-BATCH (since WF-BATCH is the user system used in baground task ).
We have a requirement where we have to change the creator-id of the purchase order to the creator of the shopping cart( and not WF-BATCH ) .
Any inputs on how this can be achieved ?
( P.S. :- I tried BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI , however, we cannot change the field created_by in the PO header using this BADI ) .
Thanks in advance,
Aravind Nair.Hi,
If you are using the ECS,this is the only BADI which can be used.The documentation clearly says :
-->With the BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI, you can override the standard and determine which data from a local purchase order in the is transferred to the linked logistic backend system.
-->PRECONDITIONS
You have activated the extended classic scenario in SAP Enterprise Buyer .
You are using Enterprise Buyer 4.0 in in connection with a backend system of Release 4.6B or higher.
-->The BAdI is called after the local purchase order is created or changed and before the purchase oder data is transferred into the backend system.
So if you need to change the PO data before transferring it to the Backend in ECS, you can use this BADI.
BR,
Disha.

Hi I am trying to change the creator of my app to a different name. How do I go about this?
If you are referring to an app you developed, this is not the best forum for that sort of inquiry. Try the developers forum: Developer Forums

Can't change creator type with AppleScript
I'm trying to change the file type and creator type of some files using AppleScript. I've found many examples telling me how to do it. My problem is, that no matter what I try, the creator type does not change. Yes, I can change the file type, but using the same syntax for the creator type fails to make any change. There is no error; rather, the creator type simply remains what it was before.
I'm doing this on 10.6.8, but I also tried it on 10.8.4 and had the same issue.
Here's an example script:
After executing on a single file (for example), the alerts show that the file type has been changed, but the creator type HAS NOT, and remains what it was previously.Hello
Firstly, I have posted wrong handler, which should have been:
on set_creator_code(f, c)
string f : POSIX path of target file
string c : 4-character creator code (or "" to set 0x00000000)
do shell script "/usr/bin/perl <<'EOF' - " & f's quoted form & " " & c's quoted form & "
die \"Usage: $0 <file> [<creator code>]\" unless @ARGV > 0;
my ($f, $c) = @ARGV;
(my $finfo = qx[xattr -p com.apple.FinderInfo \"$f\" 2>/dev/null]) =~ s/[[:space:]]//og;
$finfo = \"00\" x 32 unless $finfo;
my $cccc = unpack('H8', $c . \"\\0\\0\\0\\0\");
$finfo =~ s/ ^((?:..){4}) ((?:..){4}) /$1$cccc/ox;
qx[xattr -w -x com.apple.FinderInfo \"$finfo\" \"$f\"];
EOF"
end set_creator_code
* The previous (wrong) handler will create wrong data when there's no com.apple.FinderInfo attribute of the file. Sorry.
By the way, this handler is written to set creator code to \0\0\0\0 when c = "". So the script below will do what you want for a file.
set f to choose file
set_creator_code(f's POSIX path, "")
As for recursive processing, it is straightforward but the question is how to determine the target files. Processing every file under a given directory tree could be too broad and potentially dangerous. Can we assume the target files are all html and its name extension is .html or .htm? If so, the script below will do what you want:
set d to choose folder
set_creator_code_recursively(d's POSIX path, "(html|htm)", "")
on set_creator_code_recursively(d, e, c)
string d : POSIX path of target directory
string e : name extension pattern (case insensitive), e.g., (html|htm|css)
string c : 4-character creator code (or "" to set 0x00000000)
do shell script "/usr/bin/perl <<'EOF' - " & d's quoted form & " " & e's quoted form & " " & c's quoted form & "
die \"Usage: $0 <directory> <name extension pattern> [<creator code>]\" unless @ARGV > 1;
my ($dir, $ext, $code) = @ARGV;
local $/=\"\\0\";
my @ff = map {chomp; $_} qx[find -E \"$dir\" -type f -iregex '.*\\\\.$ext\\$' -print0];
for my $f (@ff) {
(my $finfo = qx[xattr -p com.apple.FinderInfo \"$f\" 2>/dev/null]) =~ s/[[:space:]]//og;
$finfo = \"00\" x 32 unless $finfo;
my $cccc = unpack('H8', $code . \"\\0\\0\\0\\0\");
$finfo =~ s/ ^((?:..){4}) ((?:..){4}) /$1$cccc/ox;
qx[xattr -w -x com.apple.FinderInfo \"$finfo\" \"$f\"];
EOF"
end set_creator_code_recursively
Hope this may help,

Changement licence Mac vers PC
Bonjour,

I did NOT give you permission to change Firefox from ver. 3.6 to ver 12 on MY computer
I was happily using version 3.6 You intruded into my computer to install against my will v. 12. Not only does Roboform not work on this new version of FF, but the form and feel is CLUNKY. Why do you have to screw up something that was working just fine, especially against my will?
I settled myself to go without protections from Mozilla, and you entered my computer and CHANGED the version of FF on MY computer, AGAINST MY WILL. Its like being raped. I feel so violated.I don't know. There is a huge amount of documentation around *.mozilla.org about every detail of the development roadmap and implementation, but it's a little hard to search.

I watermarked a pdf using Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5 running under Windows 7. The doc was then secured Advanced -> Security->Encrypt with Password. The permissions box was checked, a password added and the doc saved - indicating "secured". A completely different person, who did not know the password replaced the watermark using Adobe Acrobat 10.1.10 running on a Mac. Is there a known issue or a patch

Changement OS MAC vers Windows
Bonjour,

How to change Artist/Creator EXIF field in JPEG file?
I need to change EXIF Artist field in original files from JPEG camera.
With LR I can change Creator metadata field. Then I can "Save Metadata to File" or "Export" the files.
"Save Metadata to File" changes IPTC and XMP fields, but EXIF field still empty.
"Export" fills EXIF Artist field with Creator - it is good, but re-compresses JPEG images - it is bad.
Is there a way to manage Artist EXIF field without re-compression?
Thanks, Elen.It can't be done in Lightroom, but you can use something like ExifToolGUI http://freeweb.siol.net/hrastni3/foto/exif/exiftoolgui.htm

How i can change default Deployment server in Creator 2 ea 2.
Hi
Thank you for reading my post.
I want to change Creator 2 ea 2 , deployment server
I used to use centeralized deployment server . and i want to change Creator server , and set it to that server.
How i can do this ?Here is what worked for me.
changing the default application server.
1) Verify that JSC2 is creating a WAR file in the project's dist directory.
2) Download the Sun Java System Application Server 8.1
3) Install the application server on another computer. E.g. 192.168.1.110
I changed the default port from 8080 to 80 because I wanted to port forward.
Don't know if this is required.
4) Start the server! Browse to 192.168.1.110:80 and verify the server started.
5) Run the admin console (192.168.1.110:4848) and manually deploy the WAR file
If you can't do this, it wont go.
Your browser might appear to get stuck. Wait for it to finish! Check your logs for errors.
If you get stuck, doublecheck that the server directory isn't write-protected.
Test with a browser 192.168.1.110:80/ProjectName
6) Tell JSC2 about the new server
Servers Tab -> Remote Servers -> rightclick -> Add Remote Server...
Select the right kind of server (Sun Java System Application Server 8.1)
Admin Host: 192.168.1.110
Admin Port: 4848
Username: admin or whatever
Password: shhhhh!
7) Configure JSC2 to deploy the project to a different server during testing.
Projects Tab -> Right-click the project -> Properties -> Run -> select the new server.
8) Click the little green triangle and it should deploy and start a browser to test.
Trouble-shooting:
- Problems will occur if you attempt to do things to fast. Don't cancel out of operations.
- Don't modify any of you build.xml files
- Don't compress the war file
- Restart everything if you hit a problem
- Don't ask me, I don't know anything about it. I just fiddled with it till it worked.
- Turn off Netlimiter! (or any other bandwidth manager)
- Turn off Antivirus monitoring software (stuff runs faster - security rish though) -
Read "last changed" data from AL11 into BSP page
Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to read the following information from the application server
Last change Creator Name
17.07.2006 09:19:58 cbdadm file1.csv
27.05.2003 10:53:11 cbdadm file2.csv
13.07.2006 17:01:30 cbdadm file3.csv
I want to see for a number of filenames, when it was last changed, but I don't know where to get this data? Is it stored in a table? And how should I read this data?
I see that a program named RSWATCH0 is generating the required output for transaction AL11...maybe this is helpful?
The following code works in ABAP, but I need to use this in BSP... is this possible somehow?
REPORT ZUPLOAD_TIME .

Custom Signature ID change?
Does anyone know if the upgrade to ver 5 from 4 changes the Signature ID for the previously defined Custom Sig? Mine have changed. In ver 4 the number scheme was 2000x but this seems to now be 6000x so all the previsous custom sig filters fail as they are looking for 2000x
Yes. You are correct. It will change the sigids. I experienced the same issue upon upgradig to 5.X. I would suggest changing your filters.

Vipin,
Find the config below
1.Activate the New General Ledger Accounting by a single click on the clock icon
2.You will reach to change view "activation of New GL A/cg" detail screen and tick the checkbox and save.
3. After activation of New General Ledger Accounting, you exit the IMG screen When you re-enter , you find that a new node is added Financial Accounting (New)
4.After activation of New General Ledger Accounting , a new sub node appears in the IMG structure.
This sub node is Define Segment
The menu path is:
SAP Customizing IMG ---> Enterprise Structure -
> Definition ---> Financial Accounting ---> Define Segment
In this IMG activity, you define your segments.
If you then define your profit centers, you can enter an associated segment in the master record of a profit center. The segment is then derived from the assigned profit center during posting.
5.Activation has created a new field in Profit Center Master Record : the SEGMENT
6.Leading and Non- Leading Ledgers
In General Ledger Accounting , you can use several Ledgers in parallel. This allows you to produce financial statements according to different accounting principles. A ledger uses several dimensions from the totals table it is based upon. When defining Ledgers , one must be defined as the Leading Ledger . The Leading Ledger is based on the same accounting principles as that of the consolidated financial statements. It is integrated with all subsidiary ledgers and is updated in all company codes. This means that it is automatically assigned to all company codes. In each company code, the Leading Ledger receives exactly the same settings that apply to that company code : the currencies, the fiscal year variant and posting period variant .
You must designate one of your ledgers as the Leading Ledger. It is not possible to designate more than one ledger as the leading ledger.
The menu path is :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
> Ledger -
> Define Ledgers for General Ledger Accounting
Clicking on the checkbox identifies one of your ledgers as the Leading Ledger.
7. Activation of Non Leading Ledgers
Non Leading Ledgers are parallel ledgers to the Leading Ledger . They can be based on local accounting principle, for example. You have to activate a non- Leading Ledger for individual company codes. Non- Leading Ledgers can have different fiscal year variants and posting period variants per company code to the Leading Ledger of this company code.
The menu path is :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
> Ledger -
> Define and Activate Non Leading Ledgers
8.Assign scenarios to ledgers
A Scenario combines Customizing settings from different business views. Each business view specifies which posting data is transferred from different application components in General Ledger Accounting, such as cost Center update or Profit Center update .You assign the desired scenarios to your ledgers. For each ledger, you define which fields are filled with posting data from other application components.
SAP delivers a number of scenarios in the standard system. It is not possible to create additional scenarios.
The menu path is:
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
>Fields -
> Display Scenarios for General Ledger Accounting.
9. Cost of sales accounting
Cost of sales accounting is a way to create a profit and loss statement (P&L) for a company by comparing the revenues to the costs or expenses incurred to obtain these revenues.
The expenses are mainly divided by functional area such as:
Manufacturing
Administration
Sales
Research and Development
We can activate Cost of Sales Accounting by the following menu path :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
>Ledger------> Activate Cost of Sales Accounting
