Helpful and Correct icons are not shown (anymore) on certain threads only

I think there is a bug somewhere as i.e. at the top of this thread Re: Need Help in writing the Business Rule
I can read "This question is answered. Helpful answers available: 5. Correct answers available: 1. "
But not a single of the following answers shows the helpful (yellow star) or correct (green star) icon.
Is it only me or do others experience similar situations?

Thanks. I think Justin's "non-intuitive" is worth a "correct".
BluShadow is "correct" too.
When I click on correct OR helpful next to this post (no matter which of them) I get shown a radio button where I can choose only one of this two: "Yes, my question has been answered." or "No, my question has not been answered yet."
I am not very much interested in the points but want to find "good answers" quicker when reading through different posts. And for this reason the icons are extremely helpful.
I would suggest every answered thread must get at least one "green" icon in order to be closed. If there is no correct answer I would i.e. have to post my own solution to it and this would get the "green" icon which could be altered i.e. to a blue one or so...
Thanks everyone anyway. I am now going to try to give some points, as I now above this text do choose "Yes, my question has been answered." :-) Hopefully I will get a change to give some points after this or I will know that "answered" will mean "closed" ;-)

Embedded Fonts are not shown anymore

When I create a PDF from a Word Doc, the embedded Fonts are not shown anymore. In the previous Version it was working perfectly. My version is currently 11.0.10.

Thank you for your feedback. The Job im using is simple take a word document converting it into a pdf format. If this is done I will see it in my Acrobat view. There is no fonts at all. The System is notifying me that the font "ETBFGYI+DIN-Regular" are not embedded. And there will be some character not shown or printed correctly. I didn't change anything on the setting of Acrobat. I'm using this Acrobat almost for 2 years and I never had any problem. The Problem came up after the last update of the software to version 11.01.10.

many icons are not shown correctly. It happens to all browsers(firefox,chromium,opera) I tried in archlinux. So I guess it' s an issue with some graphic library.
It also happens to a gitlab server site I set up:
How can I debug this? Does it happen at your place?
EDIT: Solved by uninstalling change colors extension for chromium, deleting .mozilla solves for firefox, still happens for opera.

Input and output varaiables are not shown

Hi,
I am using BICS connectivity to connect to a BeX query from Xcelsius. I am able to logon to SAP use datamanager conn and also able to select a query. But after that the query input and output variables are not shown. Instead all those fields are greyed out. I am not sure whether am missing any configuration. Please let me know if anyone have workaround for this issue.

That is interesting. The first (AES) is producing a 128-bit key, the second (aes) is producing a 256-bit key.
Producing a 256-bit key should not be possibe without the JCE/JCA Unlimted strength policy files installed, I have those files, installed, do you?
If someone who doesn;t have ththe policy files installed tried it, what do they get?
I would suspect that the case-sensitive nature of the underlying JVM is causing it to choose a different Crypto Provider when you use aes than when you use AES. The JVM that ColdFusion ships with (and the standard JVM) have severa crypto providers to choose from, plus ColdFusion Enterprise and Developer addition also include the BSafe Crypto-J provider), I think there are 10-11 total.
I would log a bug for this.
FYI, you can control this by using the optional keylength argument in generateSecretKey()
These two statements will produde keys with the same length.

I am not able to login to maxnewyork life insurance site while using firefox. I am using firefox 3.6.10 now. Combo boxes are not shown in the some trading websites. I uses noscript2.0.3.3, javaconsol6.0.21, javascript option 1.2.6 and WOT20100908. It creates feeling of inferiority in using Firefox due to these problems.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Under "CLIP" all featured options are grade out. Please Help!!! Also the blade and blade all are not shown in the tool bar...

Close, new, back, forward icons are not shown

Close, new, back, forward icons in firefox are not shown, so it makes difficult to use firefox. I am using latest firefox in ubuntu 11.04.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Approved and published items are not shown in the catalog search

Hello all,
We are implementing SRM 4.0 SSP scenario .
To support shopping of EBP we are also implementing CCM 2.0 as an add on.
Please note CCM and EBP are on same client and CAT & CSE are also on the same client.
No XI is involved. The catalog scheme was uploaded as CSV 2.0. The items for the catalog was created manually in CAT.
Although the item has the status "approved" and the procurement catalog which is also the master catalog was published successfully the item is not shown after searching by CSE in EBP. Also the categories of the scheme are not shown in the catalog search.
Do i have to approve the categories too and if yes can you explain me how to do this?
I think you see that I'm a newbie at srm and ccm and this problem is probably no real problem but I have not found any similar topics in the forum. So please can you help.

Bernd: the reason I asked about views is that you don't have any error messages. This might indicate that (a) you have no items in the view, or (b) there's something wrong with view-role-user assignment.
To check for (a), please go to the published procurement catalog, and go to Views tab. Check that your View is Active. Click on your View ID link to display view details. You should see a list of characteristics assigned to your view in Assign Characteristics sub-tab (the list should not be blank!). Go to Assign Items sub-tab. Navigate in your schema to find items that are supposed to be assigned to your view. You should see "Yes" in the "Assigned" column for those products. If you don't, then you simply don't have any items in your view.
Another thing I'd like you to check: when the user calls your procurement catalog for search, do you see the name of the catalog displayed just below the drop-down "Select Categories Hierarchically"?

Some icons are not shown correctly in Gnome tray

The image should tell everything. In the tray there should be icons from Guake, Dropbox and Skype. However only Skype is visible. Does anyone know where could be the problem?
I noticed that Synergy icon behaves also wrongly.

Just now, I installed LabVIEW 2012 f3 (32-bit, English) and checked for the issue. But the font(NI7SEG) was not shown properly in VI either.
- Both of Korea and English version of LabVIEW 2012 on Win 7 Korea OS shows wrong results. It is same on 64-bit OS.
- LabVIEW 2010 but on same PC shows correct fonts.
Is there a limit of number of fonts in LabVIEW? There are more than 100 fonts are shown in the "Selection Font" dialog and I can divide them into 3 groups by sequential order. I find that all fonts in the 3rd group are not applied correctly.

ICloud and Photos app are not working anymore after updating iOS 8.0.2 !!!

I've just upgraded iOS 8.0.2 with .ipsw file. It asked for my iCloud password in Set Up. It says it's wrong. So i skipped it.
I tap iPhoto and it tells me to marge the photos to Photos app. It was going fine and then suddenly, it closed. Now i can't open the Photos app anymore. I've rebooted and deleted iPhoto app. I can't even open through Camera.
I can't see my profile in iCloud (in Settings). It's keeping me the password. Its still wrong. I can't even turn off Find My iPhone to restore my iPhone. It says verification failed.
I don't know what to do anymore. I still can use my iCloud on my Computer. I still can use everything and everywhere except on my iPhone.

You are not alone. I got that issue also. I always reboot my phone or reset the network setting but it only work for a few hours.

After upgrading to Yosemite I cannot download updates and the icons are not question marks.

I upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, I cannot download any updates for apps and cannot purchase apps. When I go to the app store all the icons are have question marks in them. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem?

Music and Video List are not shown in iTunes

My iTunes will not show music or video (or any media) lists or displays. I had repartitioned my Macbook and ended up doing an fresh OSX install. I used Migration Assistant to clone all my apps, including iTunes, from my MacMini. Everything works except, when I bring up iTunes on the Macbook, I have no lists for Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.
Despite that, all the music seems to be there as I can get it to advance to the next song, etc. Movies and TV Shows are another problem. I can see the media in the iTunes files. But I can't play them directly in iTunes.
If I bring up Front Row, I can see the titles for the Videos and TV Shows, but if I select one I get a "bad format" type error message.
I've tried completely removing and reinstalling iTunes on the Macbook (even removing the related .kext and .plist files). I've tried doing a backup if the iTunes library on the MacMini and a restore into a clean iTunes install on the MacBook, all with no change.
Any ideas?

Interesting... my iTunes shows music and TV shows, BUT it doesn't show those tabs in the iTunes Store... I hope someone can answer these! I can't download music!

Conversations in messages are not shown anymore

I have a problem with my messages app. It seems like all my conversations is gone. It just happend suddently. But when I search on my iPhone for a specific word in an old message, I Can se a little preview of that message under the searchbar. Then I click on it and messages opens, but not the conversation. There is just an empty inboks. I tried to restart the phone and close the app. Hope anyone know how the get Messages to show all conversations again.

I downloaded lion on my imac and new icons are not in doc, help!

I downloaded Lion on my imac and nothing is new, there is no new icons in my doc. No launchpad etc.

The installer should have put an icon into the Dock and the Install Mac OS X Lion.app into /Applications. Save a copy somewhere else so you don't have to download it again, then run the Install Mac OS X Lion.app. The installation is a two-step process.

When I look in My BT at 'My Services' under Phone, it shows Unlimited Weekend Plan - correct.
There is no mention of the Anytime Calls package that I am actually paying extra for, although this does show up on my previous bills. There is also no mention of the Line Rental Saver package that has also been paid for.

The two telephone companies I use (no names) are probably equally awful for their not giving an accurate picture of what they do before putting a corporate hand straight into my bank account. The obvious inference is that they are dishonest which would, I might think, impact on their image and sales. What I have learnt to do is to complain immediately when there is an unexpected charge. People who operate by stealth usually withdraw the hand pretty smartly when they are challenged.
