If the form was created using LCD then it can only be edited there. This
application used to be bundled with Acrobat Pro, but that's no longer the
case. So if you want to edit this file then you need to purchase it, yes.

Design one universe vs two universe....need opinion

Data warehouse consist of 2 Fact table F1 and F2 and 8 dimensions(3 common dimension tables and 5 others).
Fact table F1 and F2 in warehouse have three common dimension table.
I need opinion about how to arrange universe for this data warehouse.
Report consist of measure from both fact tables.
What will be right way : -
1. create two separte universe - one for each fact table.
2. use single universe and use alias for common dimension.
3. use single universe ans use context.

Creating Two Universes will be worst option I guess because it will be more or same like the option 2 you have mentioned. But creating 2 universes will increase the overhead of maintaining two universes.
From option 2 and option 3 you can select any one for such a requirement. I guess the performance of both will be the same.
The Advantage of option two will be that it will never asks for selecting context at run time, such situation might be possible in option 3.
Also, option 2 will take less time to develop as you may not find any loops.

Need advice before buying MBP please!!

Hi everyone, sorry this is AGAIN a "need help before buying" post.
I'm basically looking to buy a MBP for movie production : I will do data transfer (footage into USB3 to TB2 drives/USB3 drives).
And maybe some playback of very large 4K video files.
I was looking at a few options :
First of all I missed my chance and saw a rMBP 15inch 2.4ghz(ish) for 1900 (canadian) and didn't order it.
I've got my eyes on either another rMBP which is a 2.7 with Geforce 650M (june 2012) for 2400$ or a brand new one with maybe 2.5ghz for 2200$.
Your advices on these models? Is the Iris Pro GPU good enough? Is 2.2ghz enough for my tasks?

You need to delete some files. Many posters to these forums state that you need much more free space: 5 gig to 10 gig or 10 percent of you hd size.

Be careful when deleting files. A lot of people have trashed their system when deleting things. Place things in trash. Reboot & run your applications. Empty trash.
Go after large files that you have created & know what they are. Do not delete small files that are in a folder you do not know what the folder is for. Anything that is less than a megabyte is a small file these days.

In any case I would suggest to get an audio interface which is *Core Audio* compatible. This means that you just need to plug it in and it will work with OS X’s integrated driver. I once had an M-Audio interface which needed its own driver and it had latency problems because of them. I am currently using the EDIROL FA-66 with 10.6.3 on my MacBook Pro. Hi,
You can change it thru SE38, but doesn't serve the purpose,
if it's regenerated dynamically your code will be over-written &
there's lot of overhead in change thru SE38.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

In that case, you can simply set the visible and includeInLayout properties for the viewstack that should NOT display to false, based on who logs in.

Need opinion

I've been working on this 2 minute video presentation on Final Cut Express. Here's my problem: there are several titles and texts along with many graphics and small animations. Also included are several HD video sequences. Final Cut and digital video don't like text, graphics and animations so the only good looking part in my presentation is the video sequences. The rest looks like crap. The text and animations looks very fuzzy. So I just heard about iWork. I thought I could build my presentation in iWork. I could import the video sequences, the graphics and the animations. The presentation is a 2 min. self running looping video so I could export it as a Quicktime. This needs to play on a PC (not ideal, I admit). I need your opinion on this. I am on the right track here? How does iWork handle videos? Will I loose quality? Since I will be running this on PCs, is Quicktime the best export alternative? Or should I go with Powerpoint? Thanks for you input.

Right now you are on the wrong track. Export to PowerPoint sometimes works very well, but often it is so shoddy, that you could as well start from scratch again in PowerPoint. If you intend to show the presentation in PowerPoint, you should always test it in PowerPoint first. And if you have PowerPoint to test it, you may want to create it there instead of in Keynote to save one step.
QuickTime used to be an excellent solution for what you want to do. However, currently there is a bug, so Keynote presentations exported to QT won't play well on a PC. It is possible (but far from certain) that it is solved in the version of Keynote that came out yesterday. For your needs, you should wait until someone can tell for sure if the Keynote 3 solves the problems.
PDF can contain movies and make reasonably good presentations as well, but (as far as I know) not the PDF version that can be produced with iWork.
That said, there are many excellent reasons to buy and use iWork. For your particular needs, however, the current version doesn't work.

I am looking to buy a laptop to replace my desktop.I will be using this laptop in my home only( room to room).For surfing the web,e mail,watching you tube videos,Facebook.And one last important thing,playing on facebook poker games.I think it"s called Zanga on facebook.I remember my old laptop before i bought my desktop,it use to freeze up sometimes while i was playing on Facebook-Zanga poker games.I will not be using my laptop for any other games but poker games.My question is do i need a special graphics card or can i buy any computer for these things .I am 60 yrs. old and don"t know a lot about computers even though i have been using them for years.I can not go more then $600.00.Please help me decide.Thank you for your time in reading this.

Sounds pretty average user requirements. As long as you don't plan on running any graphic intensive software or doing anything like mixing audio professionally you can probably grab whatever you want. Sorry I don't have any other advice for ya. Go see what the blue shirts say, that's what they're there for and they can get a better sense of your needs in the store and actually show you different products. It will also give you an idea of screen size, you'll find a keyboard that you can deal with, sound quality (for what it's worth at least).
$600 is a nice chunk of change to put into a computer now-a-days so I doubt you'll have trouble find anything.
I understand some people in your age range like to bring in family members, but I would urge against it since what happens your relative although they come with good intensions tend to look for stuff that they want, not you.
Example- you may want to end up looking into a tablet, like an iPad or Microsoft Surface tablet, with an attachable keyboard (look up a commercial on youtube if you need to see an example), but your son-in-law might tell you to get a 17 inch laptop that ends up needing plugged in all the time.. Have you ever sat at a Starbucks comfortably with a huge and heavy laptop and close to an outlet.... I haven't.

But when I open the app to play a game and I have to buy something from the app like coins or up grade the app. And it won't let me it says app was open on a different apple I'd and that I needed to Purchase the app again and when I try and I find the same app the only thing it does is open it. I can't do anything. Then my iMessage I can't even hardly send messages because it always say failed Delivery when in fact I was able to send iMessage a couple of weeks ago to the same people that I can't now. And nothing has changed on there side. Please help me it's driving me crazy spending all that money on the iPod and I can't enjoy it

YOGA 2 13 - Need Guidance before Buying.

I'm a student and about to buy Yoga 2 13 [NOT PRO].
This is the config available in the local market - i5 4210U|4GB|500GB*8GB SSHD
I have quite a few questions. Please be kind enough to answer few (if not all) of these.
1. I have read about the refereshed line of this same lappy. Is this the refereshed series ?
Anyway to verify it ?
2. Additionally, I'm planning to buy a ssd already after i read about the awesome empty M.2 Slot in this lappy. Which one should i go for ? Do the speeds of mSATA and M.2 SSD's differ ? Which is the fastest M.2 SSD available ?
3. Regarding the wifi card, is their sometype of problem in this particular card other than the fact that it does not support 5GHz band ? Is it faulty or has poor reception or anyother problem ? Is it really worth dropping the purchase?
4. After Moving the OS to SSD, how mch time does it take to boot up and load up the drivers ? Generally laptops with SSD's bootup in less than 7secs with everything loaded up and in ready to work mode. Does it work the same way after SSD has been installed or does it take time to fireup just like a normal laptop with HDD ?
5. I know the RAM is soldered, but can it be increased to 8GB if needed through lenovo Customer Center ?
6. I read in reviews that keyboard/trackpad is sluggish and lacks tactile response. Is it so ?
I would be obliged if you could please take of some spare time and help me decide whether to go ahead with the purchase or drop it.

Imagine trying to download the same file over 10x, just to get 1 copy. Also, it gets frustrating really quick. However the 7260 AC card WITH the right driver (which may need to be installed as post-sales troubleshooting) will fix the WiFi problem.
