Safari is frozen, but I clearly do not want to click OK. Is there a way to Force quit Safari? Everything else on IPad seems to be working fine. Thanks.I have not seen that particular message but in no way is it good. To force quit an application; hold down the Power Button at the top until the "slide to power off" appears and then immediately switch from the Power Button to the Home Button until the application quits.

I would ensure you have the latest virus definitions on your computer and run a thorough (complete) scan of your system. go about troubleshooting it? I am using a PCI-GPIB card on a WIN95 machine in an attempt to communicate with an
ESP300 Universal Motion Controller ver 3.03. which reponds to ASCII commands.
As a basic first step (using LabVIEW 6.0.2) I first attempted the example on p.20-6
of the LabVIEW ver 6 Measurements Manual. I passed the string "*IDN?".
I get the following error from the Simple Error Handler:
Error -1073807339 occurred at VISA Write in esp300_scott1_mod4.vi
Possible Reasons:
VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed

Has anyone solved the privilege error message in iTunes?
Has anyone solved this? I can't get itunes to upload anything because it keeps producing this error message. I've followed the advice on other threads to change 'read & write' access and enable it across all, yet this has absolutely had no impact. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get round it so we can use itunes again please? Thanks.

Getting this error on iPhoto open it refers to iLifeSlideShow and iPhoto quits - or doesn't open.

Reason: image not foundYes, some perople have seen this. Options:
1. Try reinstall iPhoto. (see below)
2. If you have access to another Mac with the same version of the OS, try and copy that framework over
3. Reinstall the OS.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List.

Has anyone been able to upload an ibooks file with audio only files (m4a) in it? I keep getting the following error message during the upload in iTunes Producer: ERROR ITMS-9000: "Files of type audio/x-m4a are not allowed outside of widgets. then it names the file as an m4p file. Everything works beautifully on the iPad through Preview, and validates through iTunes Producer up until the attempted upload. If you've been able to accomplish this, please let me know how you prepared your audio files. Many thanks.

Today I received the same error that you all have been discussing. I tried selecting the DRM
and this did not work for me, though I'm glad it did for some. Here's what I did as a work-around. . .
Since iBooks Author did not have a problem with Videos, I simply used one of my video programs, ScreenFlow to turn the audio into a video file m4v. I added an image and extended the length or timing of the image to span the length of the audio file. Then exported as an .mov. I then opened QuickTime and opened the file and exported the file to iTunes.
You can use iMovie, Camtasia or any other progam that will allow you to export the audio as a movie file. Does this make sense? I hope this helps, at least in the short-term.

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
