Hey everyone! I'm at your mercy! Desktop version won't redirect to phone app.

OK. I'm tired. I designed a site www.aliciastecklercounseling.com for the first time in MUSE. For the phone design I designed a temporary site just giving vital information on how to contact her. Stayed up all night designing the site, worked on it all day and wham!!! Loaded the new site! Wow! Impressed. NOT! On my iPhone it says "Under Construction". Not even the temporary site I put up. I have spent the last 4 hours trying to find out what is going on. Did I miss something? I went to my hosting site and checked the files. First, I saw that there was only one "page/template" that registered as index.tpl. Really? Then I went to the phone file and it also said tpl after each file name. After texting their CHAT which they finally didn't respond, I ended up deleting all my files and started from scratch. Now all the phone files have an extension as .php. I don't know if that is correct or not. After deleting all my files off of the server I loaded the entire site again. I see it on the desktop but the phone still says, "under construction" and not with the temporary file I made. HELP! I have way too many deadlines and can't take another no-sleep night. I can't get it to load on the phone. Worked fine for the temporary file. I don't know if this messed it up but I added an accordion menu and went to page properties and added meta data info, key words and a url for Google Analytics. Am I supposed to do that? In "Site Properties" I made sure the "redirect to desktop" was checked. I noticed on my server that my phone folder there are two folders - css and page-templates. When I click on my page-templates folder it shows my files. But - it has .tpl as an extension. I believe this could be messing me up. I didn't make any templates. I am lost and don't know what to do. My client is not happy thinking I don't know what I'm doing - which is true and hate to admit it. With the new Dreamweaver I need to know too much and am too tired to go learn all the code right now. I don't know if it's the server problem, my problem or Adobe's software problem. If anyone has any ideas please let me know ASAP! I have searched the internet for the last couple of hours and had a "Chat" with my hosting site. I can never get a human on the phone. Again, the site I'm working on is www.aliciasteklercounseling.com. Nothing fancy. Just mainly info. Thank you, thank you, thank you for anyone that could help me. I'm desperate and extremely tired.

I just checked on my phone and your website does go to the phone version on my iPhone 5. I noticed that on the iphone 6 it loads the tablet version and not the phone version, maybe this is the problem.

I wanted to keep my old telephone number that I had years originally with Verizon and then Cox.

Curve 8310 and Desktop Manager won't synch after phone OS upgrade

I have seen this same topic on a number of forums but nobody has posted a sensible resolution.
I recently upgraded the OS on my 8310 to 4.5.0.180 only to find that it caused problems synching with DM 4.7. – the DM would not recognise that I had a device connected, despite my laptop recognising it. I upgraded to DM 5.0.1.37 but this caused an error message on starting the software - “before you begin verify that your current device is connected to your computer”.
I checked the support forums and there were details there of how to clean uninstall and reinstall the software, which I’ve done, twice, the second time going back to 4.7. That doesn’t work despite it being a monumental hassle to do.
Vodafone, my network, suggest that I roll back the device OS, but I can’t do that without access to DM. It’s a catch 22.
There’s obviously a glitch in the software where the device and DM are not able to see each other. That’s a RIM problem and one that there seems to be no published answer to on the support forums other than weird stuff involving rewriting stuff in the bowels of my laptop, which I'm not in any way qualified to do.
Vodafone will “repair” the device for me (probably swap it), but this means that i will be without a phone while they do so and that’s something that I am not happy about.
RIM developed and released the device OS that has caused the problem, so is it reasonable to expect that RIM have an answer to it? If so, can someone put me out of my misery – a device that won’t synch with Outlook is not a smartphone.

Apple Remote Desktop version 3.5.1. to version 3.5.2

I originally purchased Apple Remote Desktop version 3.5.1 from the App Store. Apparently Apple Remote Desktop version 3.5.2 has been released. Guess what??? The App Store does not have the update for version 3.5.2. I downloaded the update from the Apple Support Downloads page and installed. Guess what??? Apple Remote Desktop is still at version 3.5.1.
I originally recommended to my mother to purchase a MacBook Pro and I could remote to her computer to undo anything that she has done...laugh. At almost 70 years old, it's a challenge... I was able to remote to her computer for a while and now can't. I guess version 3.5.2 was supposed to fix this issue. She has ARD version 3.5.2 on her computer. We both have Lion version 10.7.3 installed as well.
How am I supposed to get the update for verson 3.5.2 installed? Why doesn't the App Store have the update? Am I not doing something correctly?

If your mom had any kind of issue with her internert connection, Her ISP might have her reset the modem. Some times a power outage can cause a modem to revert to default settings. And any time it a modem is reset to defaults the modem has to be re-configured for ARD.
ARDAgent is the OS built-in tool for remote viewing / controlling the screen. If you want to SSH in, you need enable remote Management Login on your moms computer. (it's in system prefrences, sharing) If you do SSH, ARDAgent can be access from the command line to start/stop/restart and reconfigure ARDAgent. But just like ARD, you need the right ports open on your moms firewall/router to make the connection.
You could check to make sure the firewall is off on your moms computer. (system prefrences, securty, firewall tab) you could have her uncheck Remote Management and recheck it to restart the ARDAgent service. (system prefrences, sharing)
If your moms IP address changes frequently. You could look into a subscription service like DYNdns. It requires software on your moms computer, but basicaly it report to the DYNdns server what ever your mom's current IP address is. And in turn give you a DNS address you can use to contact your moms firewall. some thing like mom.dyndns.com. Even with DYNdns, you may find you need to delete and re-add your moms computer from ARD to connect.
logmein dosen't require DYNdns or port configuration. Because it reports into the logmein servers so there no ports need to be opened.
If you talk to your moms ISP. They would need to open the ports 5900 for UDP and TCP. Along with 3283 for UDP and TCP. MAlong with 22 for TCP (SSH and file transfer). And of corse when they open the ports they need to route to your moms computer consistently.
I'm surprised they would help you with this. I don't think my ISP would be as acomidating.

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

You won't be able to add a rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

I have one of these and it works with both a PowerMac G4 running Leopard and a 1998 PowerBook G3 running Panther.
And here's a little more free advice.
Some of the older G4 desktops like my PowerMac 3,6 only take the original AirPort card, which is different from the newer machines that take the newer AirPort Extreme card. Both are available if you hunt for them, but modern WPA-2 encryption is not supported on the original AirPort card, so it will not be able to join your network if it has this encryption. The newer AirPort Extreme airport card does support WPA-2 encryption, as does the NewerTech USB AirPort stick. If your G4 takes the older card, you cannot plug in the newer AirPort Extreme card. I have not looked lately, but I believe the sockets themselves are different. In any event, the NewerTech USB stick is cheaper than an AirPort card.

You can look up your Mac on it and see which AirPort card it has. You can also check out what upgrades are available.
A couple of good things to do is to max out the RAM and upgrade the OS. OWC will have the RAM and they are very knowledgable about Macs and can advise you on any hardware upgrades they offer. You would probably have to look at EBay to find a retail disc for upgrading to Tiger or Leopard, and preferably the latest version of the OS that is supported. Panther has some limitations, and I beleve that Google no longer supports Panther so you might need to find a different browser if you stay with Panther.

I also have the same problem, but the Software Updates tool doesn't recognise that Quicktime is out of date. Have you tried downloading Quicktime 7.7 Leopard from http://support.apple.com/downloads/#quicktime as this worked for me...?

Don't under any circumstances.
All images is not a file. It's not a place. It's a list. Specifically, it's the result of an instruction: List all the images on my machine.
When you delete something from All Images, then you have no idea what you're removing from where - files that are part of word processing docs, interface elements, corrupting your iPhoto Library. There are many perfectly legitimate reasons why you might have what appears to be duplicates but are not.
Rule number One: Never delete anything on your machine whose job you don't understand.

No - not for a Windows PC but there are no iPhone applications available to be added to a computer - Mac or PC regardless.
The iPhone syncs with select applications - such as iCal for calendar events on a Mac and with Outlook on a Windows PC.
