Hey guys, just wondering when the iphone 4s came out, was the iphone 4 16gb, 32gb etc taken down from sale straight away? If not how long was the iphone 4 16gb, 32gb on sale for before it was taken down? Would this be the same for the iphone 4s and 5?

After the release of the iPhone 4S, the iPhone 4 was only sold in an 8GB version. If they had any left in stock of higher capacities, I'd assume they'd sell those off, but once they're gone.....

I recently just bought a iphone 4 im happy with the product and it didnt cost an arm and a leg but i was wondering when the iphone 4 will become obsolete as in not receaving updates anymore etc
Keep in mind that just because a device may not be upgradeable to the latest iOS release does not mean it cannot continue to work just fine on the last update it did get. There will be many devices that were incompatible with iOS 7 that will continuing to work just fine on iOS 6 for a long time yet. There are many people still using their iPad 1 despite the fact it stopped getting iOS updates after iOS 5.1.1.
One way to safeguard your apps against future incompatible versions is to keep a backup of all your apps in iTunes on your computer. That way, if an update to the app comes out that is not backwards compatible with your iOS, you still have a copy of the last version of the app that was compatible with your device and your iOS release. -

If the device is in recovery mode, any data on it is already lost.
The only options are:
Restore the device to get it functional.
Enjoy the paper weight.

just got a replacement iPhone 4s and i let the battery run down all the way before charging it and now that i have put it on the charger it won't turn back on or show any signs that it is charging. its just a black screen. how do i fix it
Keep iPhone on wall charger for ten minutes, it may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until the iPhone begins to respond.

I've been using samsung for a long time and I just changed into an iPhone 5s and the most important thing I need is my calendar appointments , but in the notification center it doesn't show my events for tomorrow and it doesn't even show more than 1 event , will there be an updated or this soon? I just got a new iphone 5,and when I try to update my phone, and install the aps that I've already purchased onto it, it says I don't have permission to do so.
Contact your carrier & have them reset your Voicemail. Most carriers require such, so after they reset it, just set it up again.

Try this if you want an App that says you need iOS 7 or later:
Go to iTunes on a computer or on a device running iOS 7 and find the app you want and download it using your Apple ID and password.
Now go back to your iPod Touch Gen 4 and go to the App Store and tap updates at the bottom right, then tap Purchased at the top. Find the app on the list that you just downloaded on the computer (or other device) and tap the cloud to download it. If it has an alternate version available that is compatible with your iOS, it will prompt you and allow you to download that.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
