My iMail is not showing the unread emails in the count. The count I am referring to is under the INBOX messages count. I am NOT referring to the Dock Count. I have tried the following:
- Deleting and re-adding the mail accounts (it is still not showing the the email in question)
- I tried to Mailbox > Rebuild option (unsuccessful again)
- I deleted the Envelope Indexes and tried to reload iMail
Any suggestions?
Check that both latches are catching on the hinges. You can do this by putting a piece of paper over the opening (slot) where it catches. Try both sides, I think you will find the left side of the display has more of a gap then the right.
This indicates the left latch is not working.
I sent mine in for that reason and it was returned fixed.

Are you confident (in that case) that you can do the repair yourself? Perhaps you should let a professional select a screen and install it for you.

If you can plug an external display into it then click the top left Apple icon and select "About This Mac" for CPU identifiers etc.

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -

No, you cannot downgrade your iOS device. That's not supported by Apple.

When I got this new PC I did a complete audit. I found that this was kenotify.exe at startup.
Different info I found on the internet say it is essential to the functioning of FN.
I also noticed that when I press the FN apuie it generates no code. I have a small java script code returns me all the keys pressed on the keyboard.
I am surprised that the FN will work for you while you do not have this executable. -

Hey Guys. I have a 1st gen dual 2.3 powerPC G5. I just recently upgraded my OS to Leopard 10.5. I cannot for the life of me, get FlashPlayer to work. I Downloaded and installed the archived 10_1r102_64 version, but it still doesn't work.
Everytime I click on a video it says I need to update to the newest version of flash, but my computer doesn't support the updated version. So I feel like I'm in a Catch-22.

Hey guys I got a used iBook from a family friend that has it password protected.I can't update or delete programs or download anything without the passwords and he doesn't remember them.Is there any way for me to get around these without wiping the computer and starting from scratch?

Sadly without the system disk you can't do a lot. I would suggest you enable root user, log in as root and reset your administrators password, however you can't without knowing the administrator password first.
The only solution would be is to obtain the correct system disk or buy a retail copy of Mac OS X. But note, it depends on what version of the iBook you own depends, on what version of Mac OS X you will require.
You can still obtain the system disk or retail disks from online vendors, but they come at a cost.
System disk are grey in color, while retail disk have a big 'X' on it.

In your case your only solution is to restore it ( see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 ) and you may need to force it into restore mode to do that. This will wipe everything off it and reset it as new, without the passcode. You can then redownload purchased content, buy unless you have a sync'd copy of your contacts and photo's they will be gone.

If you deleted them from both PhotoStream and the camera roll, and you don't otherwise have them backed up, they're gone.

i have a problem with Flex Time. I was searching for a way to copy my 1-Tackt Timplin Beat to make 12 out of it, but there were always "wholes" between the new inserted regions. So i found Flex Time, but then when i choosed a Region, pressed the Flex Time button, nothing happend, except that the Header became a little bit bigger, as if there would been added a few more options, but there came only more free space .
Would be great if somebody could help me!:)I would suggest Option dragging the bottom right edge of the Region so it fits precicely to the grid, then copy. This is a quick way to time stretch...

first of a all I'm german and using this Community for the first time! so please don't blame me for anything .
I have got a Problem with my Itunes (Using on a Windows 7 - 64bit)
It is like itunes cuts the first 0,3-1 seconds of the songs so that the first beat or chord etc. is missing.
Could this have anything to do with the fact that i have my itunes library on my external hdd (usb3.0)?
Or do you no other reasons/solutions?

As far as I'm aware iTunes always plays all of my songs (unless I've adjusted the start/finish times) but on my old machine with an external drive it can be a little slow to respond.
If you're listening to individual songs that were part of a gapless transition on their original disc there is also the possibility that the time stored on the cd for the start of the track doesn't agree with the ear.
