i seen that they had the e71 but not the 71x but shouldnt the software still work. or is there a updat coming out soon

The E71x is AT&T branded and uses it's own AT&T navigator.

Question about installing the fireworks trial

I actually own CS4 suite which includes Fireworks, but I'm on the road and can't use the web album feature without it.
It took me all afternoon to download it and now it says it can't install. I should check my disk space and download again.
I have 278 free Gigabytes on the drive. How can it need more than that to install????!!!!!!!! HELP! I'm running out of time.

Odd you should have received either an Error 101 or Error 108. Where are you choosing to download the install files too? I would recommend saving the download to either your User folder or Desktop. If you have problems canceling the download then I would recommend completing solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

I have Photoshop CS5. When I tried to edit my images in raw I received an error message stating, "The photoshop camera raw plug-in did not recognize the format. If these files are from a camera, you may need to update your camera raw plug in."
In researching the issue I read that to edit in raw you need a camera model requirement of at least 7.3 which only works with CS6. My version of CS5 is 6.0.0.205. Being new to all this I see that my options are to upgrade to CS6 or convert by using DNG converter and paying a monthly fee. Two things I know nothing about and don't know which is would be more beneficial.

That is correct. Your camera was first supported by Camera Raw 7.3. Camera Raw 7.3 will not work with CS5. You need CS6 or CC.

It all depends on your preferred workflow and your budget.
Using the DNG converter is free. There is no monthly fee. You use the converter to convert all Raw files from the EOS 6D to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5. That's an extra step every time - every photo. Some people don't like the extra step. Others don't mind.

No, you can't change the default naming scheme. You can do it yourself if you extract the pages using a script instead of using the built-in command.

Being an iOS developer, I can tell you that iOS. 7 compatibility for iPad came later in the beta process.
Therefore there wa less time to test iOS 7 on iPad. My suggestion to you would be to wait until Apple refreshes the iPad line before you update. At that point they will most likely release an iOS 7 update optimized for iPad.
With that said they are many people running iOS 7 on their iPads without issue.
Remember, this is a help forum. No one posts success stories here.

Try going to the bottom of the Books tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the US.

Question about installing drivers on Vi

Hey,?Within the next couple of weeks, I intend to purchase a?X-Fi Fatalty FPS card. I know the Vista drivers aren't up to scratch at the moment, but I'm in no rush to upgrade to Vista, although I have access to the RTM through TechNet. As soon as all drivers are of a good standard then I'll upgrade - until then I'd stick with XP which works great. My question is this, If I buy this card it'll ship with a driver CD. I'll need to install the drivers/creative applications from this CD and then update them from the website. The drivers on the disc will be for Windows XP, and not compatible with Vista. When I format the dri've and install Vista, how do I go about installing the Creative Vista drivers. The downloadable ones from the website require the main CD drivers to be installed, which I won't be able to install as they're for XP. Hope that makes sense. Thanks.

Ooh, perhaps I got the wrong end of the stick then. Im basing this on my experience with an old Creative Audigy card I had years ago, but If memory serves me correctly it was actually an OEM card. So what you're saying is, when I receive my X-Fi, I can not use the CD and straight away download the latest drivers/apps from the creative website and install them without needing to run the CD through first?Thanks for your reply.

I have some question about USB communication: I want to make my VI communicate
TI-DSP by USB, now, the driver of USB on DSP have done, and there are a test
program writen by VC and a driver fold(with a .inf and a .sys files), when I
install the driver and run the test program, the driver program on DSP run
regularly. And then I want to program a VI which have the same function as the
test program, so I unload the driver on PC firstly, then install the DSP in
NI_VISA according to "Using NI-VISA 3_0 to Control Your USB Device - Tutorial -
Instrument Drivers". When I sent the standard control request using the VISA test panel, the status below happened. I don't know what wrong with my step.

contains already a related answer and explains what a sys driver is.
While you could theoretically use the Call Library Node to call all the
necessary Win32 API kernel functions to connect to a device driver,
this would be very cumbersome and not doable without a real good
understanding about C programming. Writing an interface DLL instead
won't need more C programming knowledge at all but will give you a
clean interface to that device driver which eventually could be used in
other programming environments as well.
