Hey guys I need some help I was using my internet on my MacBook pro & I closed my laptop because my grandma was at the door and when I opened my laptop back up it asked for my password so I typed it in & it won't take it! Idk what to do please help!!!! I need it for my classes!!!!

Looking for some help!! Using the Line In on macbook
I have my xbox 360 connected to my external Dell monitor via the HD VGA cable. Video works fine. Off that cable are the 2 left/right RCA male jacks. Luckily, microsoft includes the Y adapter to a 3.5mm jack. I connected this to my macbook's LINE IN on the side. I then selected Line In via the Sound Controls in Sys. Prefs.....yet, I do not get any sound!!!
In the xbox 360, I have the audio set to digital output (the basic one). All my speakers are turned on, volume is up, yet I have no audio....am I really missing something here? Is the macbook even capable of reading and outputing the audio from the xbox 360 ?

What audio application do you have open that should be playing the audio for you? The audio won't just "pass through" your MacBook unless you have an application open to receive and play the audio.
In the xbox 360, I have the audio set to digital output (the basic one).
The two RCA jacks on the xbox 360 aren't "digital" ports. I don't have an xbox 360, but what other options for audio out do you have? There should be an analog option for the RCA ports.

It sounds like you cannot use either camera, nor the LED as a camera. I want to recommend a couple of things here.
First, close all the open and running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, I would next backup your device to iTunes, and restore it:

It looks like you ran Apple Hardware Test without plugging the MacBook to the charger. It's normal to see an error if you run Apple Hardware Test without your Mac plugged.
Plug the MacBook Pro to its charger and run Apple Hardware Test again -

you can't just move XP even if you took the hard drive and have Windows boot and function.
Apparently there are Windows tools to sanitize the OS and strip all the motherboard drivers and services.
Time to get a supported OS. Don't want to pay, then use 8 for the time until it goes on sale.
There are no drivers for even Vista on 2011 and later Macs. -
i need to install a fresh copy of OS X onto my macbook pro 13. i did erase the old partition "macintosh hd" & now when i am trying to create a new partition, it shows "partition failed..couldnt unmount disk"...pls help !!
First of all, I have to ask, why to you "need" to install a fresh copy of OSX?
This may mean that your hard drive is failing, so hopefully you have a backup.
I'm assuming you were in your recovery partition when you did this.
I would, from the recovery partition, repair your hard drive and permissions.

And then try to create the partition again.
If that doesn't work, you have a few options:
Try a third party utility like DiskWarrior or TechTool which may be able to repair your hard drive:
DiskWarrior 4 - The Disk Utility for Mac Disk Repair, Mac Directory Repair, Mac Disk Recovery, Mac Data Recovery or Techtool Pro 7
Try internet recovery, perhaps erase the entire hard drive and reinstall ML.
If nothing else works, then I'd replace the HD and start over. -

You will have to configure that with your router. Type your router's IP address in the search/domain bar and allow port forwarding.
What is requiring you to have an open NAT? That issue is usually for gaming consoles, etc. -

There is a good chance after 3years (A 2TB should be only about 2years tops), the disk or the TC itself is on the way out. Do it immediately. If TM is also failing to backup you need to recognise symtoms of impending doom.
Unfortunately the error messages are archane and it is hard to discover their meaning.
You also cannot verify a network drive.. you can verify the TM sparsebundle though so do that.

Reboot the whole network from off.. certainly if you run later OS it can simply lose the drive..
If you still fail to be able to copy to the TC.. then get that external and copy off it. Tell us if you can do that. -

Please help! Itunes fails to open on my macbook pro. I have removed itunes and reinstalled it and it still will not work!
Try removing the Genius database. In the "Finder" go to the /username/Music/iTunes/ folder and delete the "iTunes Library Genius.itdb" file. This may allow the program to launch again. This file will be recreated upon first use of the "Genius" feature.

I have successfully installed all of my creative cloud apps with the exception being acrobat.
I cannot print from Indesign to PDF.
I have unistalled, reinstalled and still no Adobe Acrobat.
I now have to go back to Windows 8 and create the PDF's there.
Any one know how to get around this issue?

KelvinOSX has effectively killed the ability to print to pdf, (print to pdf eliminates most of the "Rich features" of current pdf).
Export from InDesign, always, excpet for the 1% of the time where you know why print to pdf would produce a better result. -

When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
instructions in the dialog window that will appear.
