Hey is it possible to have a slideshow of our camera roles as our lock screen background in an update??

If it's a report program, use a comment in the selcetion screen for information of the user as shown below.
* Information
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK b1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-003.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT /1(60) text-004. "Text containing the information message
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK b1.
If you are using a module pool, you can create a tooltip for the element as suggested.

For a variety of reasons, mostly related to security, the iOS operating system limits what can be done with respect to file uploading and downloading. But whenever you encounter a limitation like this always think, "There must be an app for this."

Here are a couple articles I would recommend going through when experiencing this issue. Make sure to check the vibrate switch is not engaged as it can cause some application audio, keyboard sounds and ringtones to be mute.

Probably because you haven't double-clicked the home button.

Since the ipad has dynamic moving backgrounds isn't it possible to have a slideshow background?

IIt should be possible to have a slide show background since Apple does support the format so I think if we somehow can find the format they used and chge a slideshow to that format we should be able to make slideshow backgrounds? I hope.

Hey Boxman, I'm guessing lack of interest. Think about it, once the novelty wears thin, just how much time would or do you really spend looking at your home page? Me personally, just enough to find the app I need and push the button. Besides, isn't the battery life on your iPod short enough for you? Dynamic backgrounds are one of the first things you turn off to conserve battery life! That said, it would be kinda cool, for a little while anyway. Double click home button for camera to show up (and iPod). Notifications seem to show up on lock screen that way, too.

Double click your home button when the phone is locked. The camera icon will show up then.

Is it possible to have the Grid Server send an alert for blocking locks?

All,
We are deploying a new custom application. I'm the DBA. Our development team wants to be alerted if any processes in this new application are being blocked for more than 30 seconds. I believe that I can setup an notification from the Grid Control to alert me if more than 1 process is waiting but I'm not sure about the ability to alert when a blocking lock is occurring for more than a period of time.
Does anyone know if this is possible? Or , can anyone give me some points on how I might write a custom notification?

OEM provides this metric out of the box though if you wanted to limit the check to a specific type of lock, or application you would have to write your own UDM (User Defined Metric) which is a trivial task. The minimum time interval is minutes but I assume you could use 0.25 minutes to check every 15 seconds, and be notified if it repeats twice (so this would be 2 repeated alarms over 30 seconds and match your criteria, correct?).
Check the documentation for creating a UDM if you choose to go that route.

Is it possible to have an attribute whose label is dynamic on an Entity Screen?

I have an entity control on a screen that has an attribute which uses a label(say, %label%) as the question text. This text is supposed to change dynamically depending on the value selected for another attribute on the same screen. This doesn't seem to be happening, the attribute displays "%label%" in all the entity instances instead of the dynamic text. Is there a work around for this problem?

You must use custom javascript or some other means to modify the appearance of a screen without submitting it (i.e based on something on the same screen). In OPA, an attribute only has a value once the screen is submitted, not at the time when the HTML control is edited. Subsequent screens can use values of attributes from prior screens for dynamic labels, but not on the same screen.

Well there wouldnt be a flash similar to the back camera, but instead, the screen would just light up very bright like a samsung galaxy phone. You can see what im talking about on snapchat where there is a front flash camera.

Try:

Is it possible to encrypt my device and use a PIN for my lock screen?

Standard Android seems to allow this, but when I try to encrypt my Note 3 I am only allowed to select a full password (6 characters, at least 1 number). Is this something Verizon changed, or is it because of something else I have setup on my device (like an account or something)?

I can clarify jayjanssen! This is a standard feature on the Note 3. The unlock password must contain at least 6 characters, containing at least 1 number. Thank you.
