Hey, So i've got my self into a slight dilema...

Basically what happened was my iPhone's phone bill was not paid, so i could not access 3g, (keep in mind i still can't). Then i was messing around with my friends when i accidentally changed my password, almost impossible because i have to retype it but hey, i can't log in anymore. So now im trying to reset my iPhone but heres where the problems lie.
1. Find my iPhone is DISABLED, so when i try to 'remote restore' it, i have no luck because it says that it will restore next time it's connected to the internet (no 3g...)
2. When i try to reset it by turning it off, holding home button etc. iTunes tells me it requires me to 'Respond on my iPhone' which obviously, i can't do as it is disabled.

There are two ways, you can sign into the app store from your iPhone, select upgrades at the bottom, select purchased, select not on this iPhone and download from their or plug your iPhone into iTunes, left click on your iphone in the left pannel, select the apps heading, select the game you downloaded and select sync at the bottom of the screen (make sure there is a check mark in the box beside sync apps). If the game is over 20mb you will have to be connected to wifi to download it directly on your iphone

Iif you bought it from the UAE or other middle eastern country, facetime is blocked at the hardware level and can never be installed.

Got diet Coke into my macbook pro, but it still works

Hi all,
About 2 weeks ago diet coke got sucked into my MBP. I dried it out, took it to the apple store, got it checked out and it was kept over night to test; came back passing all the tests.
I have witnessed no decrease in speed and the only problem I've had since is I had to restart the computer a couple times due to the trackpad not working.
Is there a possibility of it dying down the road? I'd rather replace the computer with all my data in tact now than wait for the thing to die.

All kidding aside, your concern about failure is valid as the carbonic acid in fizzy drinks likely accelerates corrosion. Only time will tell how much damage can occur. I highly recommend that you create a bootable clone with SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner in order to preserve your data in case of failure or need to troubleshoot.

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

Hello! I just got this New Macbook yesterday. My problem is the fact that when I connect my own Hard drive enclosure from my G5 it is freezing my macbook when I want to look into my folders from my old harddrive. Why is this happening?! The first time I plugged it into my macbook the computer got the hard drive immediately. Now when I re-plugged back in the macbook nothing came out and I went into Disk Utility and I don't know what to do next.

i just noticed you are running 10.5 - leopard right??? what is on the old drive? I have yet to run leopard so is it possible the OS is causing the problem? ... it would make sense if it is that because like with windows when accessing an external drive, it scans it and requests a user input on what to do - like open a photo viewer, music player, etc. - so does leopard do the same thing? -- someone with leopard exp. needs to join this thread!

I got Articulate Engage into Captivate but am now stuck

I am able to make an Articulate Engage interaction into a Captivate file, I don't know what to do with it after that. This engage interaction is just a piece of a tutorial, not a stand-alone learning object. I was hoping I could publish it as a Captivate file and then stick it in Adobe Presenter like I normally do with Captivate interactions (using insert swf in the presenter tab). However, it is not working. It just looks like it is loading. I understand there are dependent files that must be involved in this process somehow, but I don't understand what I need to do with them. Any assistance is appreciated. I also would be fine with putting my ppt into Captivate if that is easier. I tried that and it just skipped over the slide that was supposed to have the engage interaction on it (with the animation) but maybe I didn't publish it to the right place to find those dependent files.
I followed these instructions to make engage into captivate http://blogs.adobe.com/captivate/2009/05/shifting_to_adobe_elearning_su_2.html so no need to refer me to there or another similar forum I found on here.

I had the same problem! The solution I did was to copy and paste the contents of the published Engage (or Quizmaker) main folder into the published Captivate folder. I pasted a screen shot of how the published Captivate folder should look for it to work; The Captivate project is named Captivate file Testing Quiz maker, and you can see all of the published quiz files pasted into the Captivate published folder:

Hi. I managed to knock a glass of orange juice over my iPhone the other night and now I can hardly hear calls. I didn't realise until morning so it had dried in before I could do anything. Everything else is working fine. I'm wondering if there is dried orange juice blocking the fine mesh that covers the ear speaker. Should I clean it with a damp cotton bud? Should I use water or alcohol? Any help greatly appreciated. Max

hi again. The sound is fixed but now the on/off button is working only intermitently. I was thinking of swabbing ethanol around the button and into the hole around the button. Is this a terrible idea? My phone is under warranty but I hear apple doesn't cover water damage.
