Hey there! :) I updated to iOS 7.1.1 and i have a problem
I updated to iOS7.1.1 like 2 weeks ago, and somebody changed my screenlock passcode and couldn't remember it so i had do restore my iPhone 4S with iTunes. Ever since, my interface looks just like the old iOS 7 (light green message icon, the keyboard is just like the old one from the iOS 7, from the screenlock you can acces your notifications and so on), but when i try to find an update it says ,,your software is up to date 7.1.1. What can i do to make it look like 7.1.1 again?
Create a backup in iTunes.
Use iTunes to restore the device to factory settings and update the iOS.
Restore the iTunes backup to the device.

Move or Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup of the old computer to the new computer.

I Can't get my purchased apps to show up since I updated to IOS 6.1 !! Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?
Check your Apple ID under Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure it is entered correctly.

Since I updated my iphone 4 software from 4.3.3/4.3.5 - bought brand new only 2 weeks before the update came out - to iOS 5, my bluetooth no longer works in me ford fiesta and when I ring people, they literally can not hear a word I say. It has nothing to do with poor signal areas as they are the same areas I was in with the same phone before the software update! i have even sent for a replacement phone and received a reconditioned phone (after paying excess charge - JOKE!) and the same problem occured when I updated again. I cannot believe there is no downgrade as this iOS 5 is a shambles and to be honest, I see very little difference in terms of apps and photos so i have no idea why apple are recommending this upgrade!
Is there anything I can do to improve the fact that nobody can hear me on the phone when I speak?!! Or are apple going to insist I keep a phone that is of no use to me if I can't actually use it as a PHONE!

Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all?? -
I have a 32GB 5s with a few gig free before update. Now available storage says 0, If I delete apps, pictures and videos to make a little available, its soon gone.
It seems Other has grown very large post update,,,,,
Mostly can't open any apps now unless I reboot the phone, delete a picture,,,

Thanks!log out of itunes store in settings, wait 10 minutes, then log back in. your storage should go back to what it should have been all along. there is an itunes media caching bug / storage leak in ios 8 (all versions so far), and apple for some reason has decided it isn't worth fixing.

On iMessage it the bar fills up 80% but the stops and says FAILED in read under the message. On my facetime it will wait a while and then say "Disconnected" it is not my internet that is the problem. It worked fine before I updated please give me any solution. (i have tried signing out and back in)

not sure if this will work for everone but I noticed when you go on settings>messages>Send & Receive it was displaying my Apple ID twice and underneath where is says "You can be reached by iMessage at:" , it was displaying my email address twice as well, so I clicked on my Apple ID and signed out, restarted my ipod and signed back into iMessage in the settings and it just displayed my apple ID and email once. Next I restarted my router and my Ipod Touch 4g IOS 6 and it was working again !!! . Not sure if this will work for everyone but I just ****** around with it and it seems to be working for now anyway -

The DropBox import, like regular photo/video import or works for items in the Camera Roll album. Not for photos synced to the iPod like the poster has.
The poster can:
- Email them and sync them to the updated iPod
- Import them via a third-party computer program like TouchCopy or PhoneView. Those are paid apps. -

I have a number of clients who have this issue since the iOS6 update (as do I on my personal iPhone). These are the steps I took. The combination is that they were using iCloud / iPhone with their contacts.
Log into www.icloud.com and see if you have any duplicatesI had no duplicates here
Check Outlook (if you use this) to see if you have any duplicatesI had no duplicates here

On my iPhone, I went to Settings, iCloud, and TURNED OFF the CONTACTS switch. Then it asked me if I want to keep my contacts on the phone... In my case, I did not as I know all of my contacts are stored in iCloud as I've confirmed that in STEP 1 & 2.
In your iPhone, check your Contacts, it should be empty.
Go back to Settings, iCloud, and TURN ON the CONTACTS switch. This will redownload all of your contacts from iCloud without the duplicates.
I hope this helps as this was kind of annoying as there was no reason for my contacts to be duplicated as I did not choose to integrate using the Facebook option. -
My iphone 4 is dead after I updated to ios 6.1.3 it doesnt turn on and doesnt respond to itunes also. Visited Apptronix service desk but they say there is nothing they can do about it, and they have charged INR 10640 for a new one. Is there anybody with similar problem....

Is there an update to iOS 6? I've been having several technical issues since the upgrade. Uncontrolled zoom of the entire screen, Siri taking 25 seconds to respond and not recognizing names, locking up of the phone. All requiring a reset.
I would restore with backup and if that doesn't fix it try as new

I "updated" my ios software this morning and it forced me to reset my phone to the manufacturers settings. I would at least like to redownload the recent books I have purchased. Is there a way to do that without having to pay for them again??

Why would you any way?
The update from 7.0.1 to 7.0.2 was only security patches and had no other impact on the iPhone.

I just updated my IOS to 7.1 and now I can't open Microsoft attachments - I used to always do it. Help - I use my iPad for work and now can't see any attachments. I've tried opening straight into other apps and just get error messages, and I the mail preview there is just a grey screen telling me the file name and size. It worked fine until I did the IOS upgrade
