Did you already try to reset the iPad by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
You will not lose data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches.

What the **** is the matter with this update?!

Since updating my 3G iPhone after the 4G came out my phone freezes, drops calls and only has 1-2 bars regarding the strenght of the phone - I'm ready to lose it.
Does anyone from Apple read this message board and can provide some suggestions?

Did you try to restore "as new iphone" without using the backup to get your settings and other data back? You'll have to set up Mail, Network and other apps again manually, but this will probably speed up your phone again, it did for some users in this forum.

I tried to install a windows on my mac book pro but i couldn't because of i don't know different problems which finally in this forum they told me u can not because of my hard disk partitions ( Link to that post) , now i am using vmware but its really slow for windows 8.1 and visual studio .
i have now a question , what happens if i boot with win 8.1 boot able DVD and install a new windows ?
the main questions are :
1. does it recognize any of my partition to select for windows installation ?
2. if no , can i format any partition for new partition during windows installation?
3. if i could install a windows , who is the boot loader ? windows or mac ? can i still boot to windows or what ?

Give your previous partition layout, you cannot install Windows via Bootcamp, unless you are willing to give up all your extra partitions and go back to EFI, OS X and RecoveryHD only configuration.

If WIP job cancelled or Requisition/PO is cancelled, corresponding order line reservation will be cleared and will go to 'Supply Eligible' Status. Progressing this line will again follow the WIP/Requisition path based on item.

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

Can't log in message "what is the username associated with this smartphone"

When I attempt to login to app world, I enter my email address and pw, and the it gives me a popup for - "what is the username associated with this smartphone". How do I find out what to enter here? (I don't remember what I may have used in the past).
Also, how can I be sure that I am using the right email address to login? I've tried my other emails and I get stopped before this screen since it doesn't recognize the email.

Now when we tried to run the form, i got the error saying "FRM-40734:Internal Error:Pl/SQL error occured.", in the login form.
When i tried to open the fmb file in Oracle Forms Builder 6i, i got the following error:
FRM-10102: Cannot attach PL/SQL library d2kwutil. This library attachment will be lost if the module is saved., but the fmb file got open.

You don't have it unless you have downloaded and installed it either manually or via Software Update.
The update should be installed to protect you from possible malware exploits via Java. However, if you don't use Java programming or run Java applets in your browser, then you do not need the update. But you must turn Java off in your browser's security preferences (it will be a checkbox.)

Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this? I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple,etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails. But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments. To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work. If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level? or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud?

Today i bought a book of itunes and when i went to go and read it on ibook (the app on my ipod) and this message popped up saying "This book contains content or formatting that requires iOS version 4.2 or later" how can i get this update so i can read my book?

What model (generation) iPod do you have?
What iOS do you have on the iPod? Settings>General>about>Version)
The 2G iPod can only go to 4.2.1
The 1G to 3.1.3

Photoshop CS6: ACR 7.3 - Is It Advisable to Go Ahead With This Update, Right Now?

Camera Raw 7.3 has been available for a few days now, but I'm not sure whether updating from ACR 7.2 is a recommended thing to do, right now.
Am I mistaken, or are many people having a lot of trouble with this update, to the extent that they regret updating from ACR 7.2, and are even seeking ways to revert back to ACR 7.2, for the time being?
If there are bugs in it, which need to be ironed out, I will wait and leave well alone, until it is OK to proceed with this update.
Can anyone give me any advice?

Hard to say if "many people having a lot of trouble with this update." A Bridge problem of repeated recaching of raw files has been reported with acr 7.3. See discussion in this thread:

In general if you don't need what is in an update it seems reasonable to wait a week or two; but with this one, note Adobe's security bulletin -- acr 7.3 includes a security update:
