Hey, where is there Puppet Warp keyboard shortcut?

There are plenty, I mean, plenty of keyboard shortcuts in Ps CS5/CS6 but, where is the Puppet Warp keyboard-shortcut?? It doesn't seem to exist... At least, I can't find it nor can I create a Puppet Warp custom keyboard-shortcut, as well. What gives Adobe???

Hi, Photomagneto! Welcome to the forums.
Like you mentioned, there are a TON of keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop, which makes it very difficult to assign new features a shortcut. However, there is a nice feature that allows you to create your own!
Under the Edit menu, you'll find Keyboard Shortcuts at the bottom. Once you're in there, you can find the Puppet Warp feature under the Edit submenu, and you can assign it a shortcut.
I hope this helps!

  • I am running my canon camera on the EOS utility program for mac, and i was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to start video recording, instead of using the mouse.

I am using EOS utility for MAC to run my canon camera at work. I have a foot switch connected to my macbook that allows me to take snapshots with my foot while i work ( i am a dentist and i have my camera hooked to a microscope). the way i did that is by programming a keyboard shortcut that snaps photos on EOS utility, to the foot switch software.
So my question is: On EOS there is a video recording function, so i was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut or if i can create a keyboard shortcut for the start/stop record function for video recording..

  • Where can I find advanced keyboard shortcuts?

The "Shift" + "Right Click" is a shortcut to the Tools pallete, which is not listed in LabVIEWS help. Are there more shortcuts like this that are not listed in LabVIEW? If so, where would they be documented?

The LabVIEW 7.0 Help contains a more complete list of keyboard shortcuts in LabVIEW. This same list also is located in the LabVIEW Quick Reference Card shipped with LabVIEW 7.0. If you don't have LabVIEW 7.0, you can access the card on our site: LabVIEW Quick Reference Card
I see that the Shift+right-click shortcut is not listed, so I'll make a note of that for us to add in a future release of LabVIEW. If you have feedback on content missing from the LabVIEW Help or manuals, you can send your feedback to us directly at [email protected]

  • Is there a general keyboard shortcut to eject CD?

  • I used to be able to refresh a page by hitting the F5 key. That does not seem to work anymore. Is there a keyboard shortcut for refresh, or can I create one?

I used to be able to refresh a page by hitting the F5 key. With 4.0.1, that does not seem to work. Is there a different keyboard shortcut, or can I create one?

Click the Refresh button on the right hand side of the location bar container on the Navigation Toolbar or press "Ctrl + R" or F5 to reload a web page.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
    * Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
    * Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    * Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut to toggle the addons bar on\off?

As the title say,now that Firefox 4 b8 has a button to close the addons bar, does a keyboard shortcut exist to quickly toggle this bar on and off ?

There's a keyboard shortcut now that the released version 4.0 is around. It's
    Ctrl+/
In most cases it works OK. However I have had a situation or two in which the displayed web page had its own meaning for this shortcut... and the web page won.
I'm looking for a toolbar button that will toggle the add-on bar.

  • HT5161 Is there a keyboard shortcut to go directly to this search bar in the help menu?

I find myself using the search bar under "help" a lot in several applications. I was wondering if there was a keyboard shortcut to go directly to this searchbar, just like how cmd+space takes you to the spotlight searchbar.

  • Is there a keyboard shortcut for zooming out my parents' computer's desktop

I did not witness what happened, but apparently my brother ctrl+scrolled up(and zoomed all the way in) and my mother has been trying to figure out how to zoom it out. We have a Mighty Mouse, but it can not scroll down for some strange reason(It's broken). We somehow got it to zoom all the way out, but we have no clue how we did it. Is there a quick keyboard shortcut to zoom the screen out all the way in case it happens again(or in case I make some video that requires me to zoom in and focus on XCode and I later want to zoom out, seeing as my mother fixed her preferences to not allow it to zoom in)? If so, what is it? Is there also a keyboard shortcut to zoom in, in case we turn scrolling off altogether?

In the System Preference> Universal Access> panel, you can reverse the
results of an accidental setting found through a random keyboard command.
    • Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1343
Or, just keyboard: *The use of Option-Command-8 is said to Turn On/Off Zoom*.
Using a standard USB mouse, be it an old one-button Apple USB or a newer
two-button PC mouse (no drivers should be needed) you could get past the
immediate issue of the Mighty Mouse's scroll button problem.
The Mighty Mouse probably has dust & debris inside the roller-ball assembly.
There have been some instructions (on how to open/clean & reseal it) online.
If you attempt to do this, be sure you have a working alternative mouse first.
*Cleaning Mighty Mouse* involves some skill, dexterity, tools, glue, tedium & time:

  • Flash CS5: Is there a keyboard shortcut to move to the next keyframe?

I know there are keyboard shortcuts to move to the next and previous frames -- "." and "," but they're not really what I'm referring to. Also, these keys don't necessarily move to the next and previous frames, rather it just seems to move the red playhead instead of the blue highlighted box (which represents the current frame). This is something I'm also confused about with this keyboard shortcut.
I would like to know though, if there is a keyboard shortcut to move to the next keyframe (each frame that begins with a dot). Thanks for your help.

While I am not quite sure what you mean with
"each frame that begins with a dot"
you can use jsfl to program your own macros/shortcuts

  • Is there a PC-Style Keyboard Shortcut for Opening the CD ROM Draw?

    Hello
I was trying to use a USB PC-Syle keyboard with my G3 Blue & White, and was wondering if there was a Keyboard Shortcut on the keys to open the CD ROM draw?
It apparently won't open manually .... and of course if it were an Apple Keyboard, then it would naturally have a key for that function.
    Thank you
    Mike

    Hi, Mike -
OS 9 does not have such a key, per se (I think F12 works only in OSX). The button on the front of the drive should work whenever the tray is empty; if there is a disk in the drive, either drag the disk to the Trash or select it and use Command-Y (Put Away in the File menu).
You can add a hot-key fairly easily.
    • One way is to locate the Eject Extras folder which may be on the hard drive somewhere; if not, you can download it from here -
    Eject Extras
You can use the Eject applet contained in that folder by assigning it to one of the FKeys via the FKey page inn the Keyboard control panel.
The downside of this is that it will control only the built-in optical drive.
    • You can also use a utility such as EjectDisk, which allows for the setting of individual keyboard key-combos for each removable-media drive.

  • Is there any keyboard shortcuts for navigating through Fireworks layers?

By default, there are no keyboard shortcuts. However, you can use custom commands. For example, http://johndunning.com/fireworks/about/FrameLayerUtils

Some other commands that can make it easier to work with layers:
Frame and Layer Utilites: contains a number of commands for working with layers, like hiding the current layer in all other states but the current one, or moving the layer up or down in the panel.  Any of the commands can be assigned keyboard shortcuts.  http://johndunning.com/fireworks/about/FrameLayerUtils
QuickFire: lets you quickly match a layer by typing part of its name and then hiding it, locking it, etc.  http://johndunning.com/fireworks/about/QuickFire
Solo Selection: hides all elements except the selected ones, so you can work on just a part of the document.  Run it again to make everything visible again.  http://johndunning.com/fireworks/about/SoloCommand
I'm also working on a command that will you navigate the elements in a doc via the keyboard, which should be ready soon.

  • [SOLVED] keeping terminal window open for scrot keyboard shortcut

    Hey,
Im trying to bind a keyboard shortcut to scrot with the -s command (for selecting window). Normal scrot command works fine straight away, but with the -s command a terminal window needs to be open that waits for the selection. i have created a file called lscrot with the following code:
    1 #!/bin/bash
    /usr/bin/terminal --working-directory=$HOME/dump/ --geometry 0x0-0-0 -e "/usr/bin/scrot -s"
i have put the file in /usr/bin folder with 755 permissions.
if i right click the file and choose "execute", the new terminal window will stay open and i can select an area to take a screenshot of, but when i bind it to a shortcut key (using xfce) the new terminal window will close immediately rendering the shortcut useless.
    how does one fix this?
    thanks

hmmm, ok. binding keys to /usr/bin/scrot works fine, but /usr/bin/scrot -s does not. dont really know where to begin searching for a fix...
EDIT: im assuming there is something elementary i am missing. after further testing, launching for example scrot ~/dump/test.png from console works fine, but not when i bind it to a keyboard shortcut. however, scrot test.png works to bind. does anyone know anything more about XFCe and binding keyboard shortcuts?
EDIT2: ok so im honing in a little bit, i realised that the first times i use the keyboard shortcut it works. forcing the terminal window to stay open after command has been executed i see following error:
giblib error: couldn't grab keyboard:Resource temporarily unavailable
Searching the net i found old bug that was closed without (seemingly) being solved.
    https://groups.google.com/group/linux.d … 2056017d9a
    Any ideas?
EDIT3: ok so found a solution, "sleep". Adding sleep 0.1 to the top of the screenshot script seemed to help. seems you need to give sometime to release the keyboard for scrot to use. would still be great if anyone knew how to get it to work by using a direct command in the keyboard shortcut bindings. ie binding in straight to "scrot -s". using Alt+F2 then typing in scrot -s works fine, so i really dont see why i cant bind a keyboard command straight to that.
NOTE: how do i see xsession errors? I find no .xsession-errors file in my home directory. been searching for months.
