Hey, Windows device removal help needed!!

Hi there, I'm trying to remove my device from iTunes, because I'm at my limit for how many iTunes it's registered to... And I can't figure out how to remove it from my Windows PC, before I get rid of the computer! HELP!!!

You can reinstall your notebook using Recovery CD. It is easiest and fastest way to reinstall OS, all necessary drivers and tools. Put Recovery CD into DVD-ROM, start notebook and press down C button. At the beginning there is choice between two kinds of installation (Standard mode and expert mode).
If you choose the first one whole HDD will be formatted and used for OS installation. With second one (expert mode) it is possible to install OS on first partition. It is also possible to define how big the partition should be.
Try it. It is very simple to do it.

Boot-camp/Windows 7 Network Help Needed

I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate using Bootcamp to my macbook pro from mid-2011 and i installed it fine but its not picking up any wi-fi on windows 7 at all.

So are your drivers installed. Did you download the drivers to a USB or burn to a disc from BootCamp install?
Windows drivers won't work. If all you installed was Windows then you still need to install bootcamp drivers.
If by chance you have installed drivers then I suggest moving closer to router to make sure you have a decent signal. I have to say I have found Windows 7 in BootCamp to have a weaker signal then in OS X. Not sure the reason although several months ago I found that the driver for the WIFi card seems to set power level lower to conserve battery life I suspect. I raised the power level in driver settings and got significantly better signal levels.

Download/Open .pdf files with Windows 8.1 - Help needed urgently!

Hi, all. I hope this is not a stupid question, but can someone please help with downloading/opening .pdf files?
I am running Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, latest version (no updates available) on a Windows 8.1 platform. When I attempt to download a .pdf file (ANY .pdf file!), my system gives me this error message -
"Adobe Acrobat does not support Internet Explorer's 64-bit mode. Either install the latest version of Adobe Reader, or disable 64-bit mode in Internet Explorer"
I find this baffling. If I could find a later version of Reader than what I have, I would like to try it - but, Adobe updates tells me I have the latest version of Reader. Also, as above, I have the latest version of Acrobat - if Reader could support 64-bit, surely Acrobat XI Pro could?
Can some kind person please help?

In any case, is it possible that you're running Reader X, and have the latest updates of that? If so, please consider downloading Reader XI, and make sure you're running version 11.0.07. Creating GUI window. Newbie help needed

Hey all this is the first time i am building a GUI box for school. Can you kind of help me out here. I think i am doing this all wrong. Can you point me in the direction of setting up a Blank box just so i can then play with it from there trying to add JButtons, JLabels and all that other stuff. Have you tried specifying which measure you want it to sum?
e.g.

also I'm not sure whether the SUM is correct. This might work as it definately specifies the tuples:

Photoshop Elements 12 installation error on windows causing rollback-help needed please

I am installing Photoshop Elements 12 on my windows laptop. When almost done an error occurs and it starts rollback and the installation fails. I consulted the troubleshooting guide which suggests to go to C://Program Files(x86)/Common Files/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp and delete the files PDAppFlex.swf and PDAppFlex-app.xml .I have managed to go to Program Filesx86, Common Files, Adobe, but then the folder OOBE is absent. Within the Adobe folder I have AAMUpdaterinventry, Acrobat, Acrobat PCD, Help, PCF, SL Cache and Updater6. The files suggested to delete before retrying installation are not present in any of these folders.
Has anybody any ideas on what I should do in order to complete my installation.

Without proper detailed system information nobody can know what is going on. Also try to find the pertinent info from the install logs.

GE70 0ND - Panel Removal Help Needed Please.

Hello,
As written in the title, I have the GE70 0ND laptop. One thing that really annoys me is the material on some of the panels. In particular I want to remove the panel that surrounds the keyboard and touch pad (where you'd rest your palm/wrist) so that I can apply a wrap over it. I was hoping someone could help me out with pulling it off safely. Is there a clear guide detailing how to take it off?

Thank you very much for the link : ) However, I did have a look at it before and I didn't really find it very clear. I jumped to chapter 6 and couldn't see clear instructions on removing the panel. For example: "Firstly release the hook of the upside...", I couldn't make much sense of this, not sure what hook it was talking about and upside is not very specific. I assumed the guide was a rough translation from another language. Of course if it's the only source of information I'll have to try harder to make sense of it. Maybe it'll make sense if I read the whole guide, though I was trying to avoid that since I'm a uni student and have really little spare time.
Do you possibly know what it's referring to with the hooks and upsides? It's possible I'm too tired to make sense of anything, all those all nighters, haha.

Itunes 10.6.1 Crashing in windows xp. Help needed!!!

Hi all, My itunes crash in just 4-6 seconds after every launch. Everytime i open, it asks for the username and password and immediately after entering those credentials, it vanishes off screen. I once tried removing and re-installing it, but still it behaves the same. Apart from this, I often get a pop up in my task bar like "low virtual memory". My stupid mind makes me think the crash is some way linked with this low virual memory space. is it true?. Plz help me out.

Can you describe what happens when your computer crashes.
Do you see any error message, if so give the error message in full.
Does the computer freeze so you ahve to restart, or do you get a blue screen stop.
If you get a blue screen, can you give the error numbers. Also if any file is mentioned in the error give that too.
If the computer just freezes with not error message, look in you Event Viewer after restarting to see if there was an error message there.
Does Quicktime work normally, or does that crash too?

Windows 7 recovery help needed

I have a pavilion m9357c with windows 7 os. the comp starts up but will not go to the log in screen. It keeps goin to the insert recovery disk or call hp support. Im sure i picked up a virus somewhere with all the programs and add on i have. where can i get a recovery disk disk from so i can retrieve my files and reinstall windows 7 to original state? Or if anyone has any ideas im open to suggestions

You can order a recovery kit here. Your PC shipped with Vista 64 bit.
Do you have a Win 7 install DVD?
The recovery kit will not give you access to files on your current HDD.
You may be able to retrieve important files by using Puppy Linux.
Have you entered Setup to verify your HDD is recognized in the BIOS? Your HDD may have failed.

Dust Removal help needed

I a few scanned images from prints and they came out with dust spots (quite a bit). I would like to know if there is a way to clean these up in a fast manner They are of different shapes (circular, lint lines, etc).

Have you tried the heal/clone tool in Develop. It can be applied across
a number of selected images by copy/past sync or autosync. I bevieve Sean McCormack has a tutorial of this on his Lightroom Blog.

Windows Installer-Urgent Help Needed

After I installed Windows XP Home Edition, I inserted my Leopard CD. Whenever I try to open the Autorun, the following message appears:
*This package requires a newer version of Windows Installer. Do you want to update the version of Windows Installer on your system?*
After I click 'Yes', the following message appears:
*The required resource 'UPDATE' is missing.*
I click OK, and then the installer quits. Is there a way to install the newest version of Windows installer, and if not, how do I return to my Mac OS X Leopard?

It sounds like the three of you installed XP without service pack 2. Try this:
From Mac OS download service pack 2 from Microsoft and save it onto a flash drive--which I assume will work in Windows even without the Apple drivers--or (provided you burn using a standard format, not Apple's HFS!) burn it to a CD (it looks like it is 266MB). Then boot into Windows and install service pack 2 by inserting the flash drive or CD and double clicking on the exe. Once service pack 2 is done installing, the apple drivers should be willing to install.

You can't. Your mysterious benefactor must remove the device from her (I guess you know it's a her?) iCloud account by logging into icloud.com, going to Find my iPhone and removing from there.

Instead of removing the music from the cloud or the iTunes library why not shuffle your music using a Smart Playlist which excludes the holiday music, or tracks that are not checked. For example, use this very simple Smart Playlist:
