HFM System Error (URGENT)

Hi All,
I am confronting an error in HFM 9.3.1. This is a system log error.
The error is "*_Error: The maximum calculation limit of 5 was reached_*."
I am unable to guess what the reason may be.
I tried to go in Hyperion Reporting and search for any formulae error but was unable to find one.
Can anyone please suggest what could be the possible cause of such type of error?
Regards,
SN

  • HFM Configuration Error - URGENT

    Hi there,
I'm trying to configure HFM (11.1.2 on windows). I'm able to configure all things (DCOM, WEBSERVER...) but can't configure the database.
When it gets to the database portion of the configuration, I see the following error message on the config logs created by the EPM System Configurator:

  • 500 Internal Server Error at HFM work space,Urgent;;;;;

    Hi,
Can any one give me solution for this.
When I try to open Work space it is giving the error "500 Internal Server Error"
And I am using Apache Tomcat.\
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi 807662 ,
    Hope this helps...
Can you post the errors from the BI+ error log?
You say that you can't log into the client applications? What client apps are you trying to log into?
If Planning can you post the the errors from Planning? If HFM can you post the errors from HFM?
Can you post the errors from the Event Viewer log on the server?
    -David
Web server returns the message "Internal Server Error (HTTP 500)"
    DETAILS:
This message usually indicates an error on the Web server. This message is too generic to provide the actual cause of the error, but a careful examination of the Web server logs, can provide clues which may point you in the right direction.
There are a few of things you can infer from an "Internal Server Error" message.
    1. The web server is NOT down, i.e it is responding to an HTTP request, since the error is being generated and returned by the web server. Unlike a "Page cannot be displayed" error which is a default message generated by a browser if it cannot contact the web server. The "Internal server error" message is caused by the web server actually returning an HTTP 500 code.
    2. If all users are getting this error, its might indicate a problem with the web server itself, perhaps a lack of system resource, a system-wide failure, or a configuration or installation issue. If only one user gets the error, its probably just tied to the session of the user, and even may be specific to the current activity
    3. The root cause is the web server, and not the application server or database, even though its possible that an application server or database response might trigger an error on the web server. For example, SQL returning a large result set might cause an OutOfMemory condition on the web server. If the application server errors out, the PIA servlet traps it and returns a generic message saying "An error has occurred on the application server", it does not return an HTTP 500 error.
The Internal Server Error message is generated by the web server, when the sub-process it called to process the browser's request, did not complete successfully. The sub-process may be a CGI program, ( Verity search in PeopleBooks for example), it may be another web server ( Apache proxying to WebLogic), or it may be a servlet (Weblogic HTTP handing off request to PIA). If the sub-process errors out, or returns an invalid error code, the web server will return an HTTP 500 error code to the browser.
The key therefore in troubleshooting HTTP 500 errors is to find out what sub-process was invoked, and what was the error encountered by the sub-process. Start by checking the access log on the web server. It will have the URL with the GET or POST request, and the return code. Here
Note though, that not all java exceptions translate to HTTP 500 errors, and not all HTTP 500 errors caused by servlets correspond to java errors. Sometimes a servlet may recover or ignore an exception and manage to return a valid response to the calling web server, mitigating an HTTP 500 code response to the browser.
Some of the common causes of servlet failures are:
    - Invalid web server configuration ( these errors should be consistently reproducible)
    - Errors from the Application Server that are not captured and translated into a meaningful message for the user.
    - Network I/O errors while communicating with Application Server, or to a proxy plugin.
    - Out of memory conditions on the web server.
    - Problems with the Java runtime.
    - System errors, like running out of disk space, insufficient permissions, running out of threads, etc.
    - Errors in the servlet code itself. Example: NullPointerException
    - Invalid or corrupted Session information, perhaps caused by Proxies, Load Balancers, Timeouts.
    - Incorrect web server, JRE, OS patches and or versions.

    David

  • Urgent - Messages in RWB in "System Error" status - Resending

    All,
I am trying to resend the messages in Message Monitoring of RWB which are in "System Error".
Message selected and Clicked on resend and it would not ask my password.
We are on SP19 of XI 3.0. Is it something new with the SP19?
I am pretty much sure that it used to ask for password earlier. And we dont have SSO (single sign on) enabled.
    reg,

    Naveen,
    Have you seen this weblog:
    /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/11/29/xi-how-to-re-process-failed-xi-messages-automatically
Also if you give the password once you dont need to give again. So that might be the reason why it is not asking you. Close all your browsers and open once again and give a try.

  • System error in program SAPLRSOA

    Hello All,
I tried to execute a query and it resulted in the following error:
System error in program SAPLRSOA and form FUNC RSOA_VCUBE_READ_REMOTE_DATA[6] (see long text).
In BI, the data is readfrom the remote cubes. And there seems to be error in the function used to read the data from these remote cubes.
Further on seeing the long text, I got the follwing message:
    Diagnosis
This internal error is an intended termination resulting from a program state that is not permitted.
    Procedure
Analyze the situation and inform SAP.
If the termination occurred when you executed a query or Web template, or during interaction in the planning modeler, and if you can reproduce this termination, record a trace (transaction RSTT).
For more information about recording a trace, see the documentation for the trace tool environment as well as SAP Note 899572.
      Notification Number BRAIN 299
Can someone pls help me on this soon?

    Hi,
    Pls chk this note;
Note 983605 - Query on RemoteProvider: No data or termination
    Symptom
A query on a VirtualProvider (SAP RemoteCube) or on a MultiProvider that contains a Virtual Provider terminates with an error message from the source system. Possible errors are:
    Unexpected error: reduce_field_list
Or: The query does not return any data.
Or: If you carry out the query on a MutiProvider with virtual PartProvider, it may return incorrect data, because the part from the RemoteCube is missing.
    Other terms
RSOA_VCUBE_READ_REMOTE_DATA, PERFORM transform_to_ts, Remote InfoCube, InfoProvider, Cube, data target, destination
    Reason and Prerequisites
This problem is caused by a program error.
The VirtualProvider (SAP RemoteCube) is connected with a DataSource via a (3.X) InfoSource.
The navigation step of the query leads to a limitation (selection) on a characteristic that is filled with a constant in the transfer rule (between 3.X InfoSource and DataSource).
Technical: Initial entry in field list.

In urgent cases, you can implement the correction instructions.
You must first implement Notes 932065, 935140, 948389, 964580 and 969846, which provide information about transaction SNOTE. Otherwise, problems and syntax errors may occur when you deimplement some notes.
To provide information in advance, the notes mentioned above may already be available before the Support Package is released. In this case, the short text of the note still contains the words "Preliminary version"

  • System error in program SAPLRRI2 and form FEMS_IN_FORMULA_GET-01 Message

    Hi Gurus,
I am getting error 'system error in program SAPLRRI2 and form FEMS_IN_FORMULA_GET-01' while checking and executing a query.
    The scenario is :
    - The query is using Replacement path formula variables and when I do remove these the error disappears.
    - I recreated the same formula variable but the error message reappears.
    - We are separating systems (moving on to new system) and the query runs absolutely fine in the old system.
    - The same variable is been used in some other queries as well but they run absolutely fine without any error.
Any suggestions what is going wrong ? Should I raise an OSS to SAP, thats going to be the final GO !!
I have tried almost doing all things but the error remains the same. This is quiet urgent and Reply will be much appreciated.
    Best Regards
    Ritesh

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. OSS note 982328 becomes irrelevant in my case as we are on SAP BW 7.3 and SP SAPKW73003. So this is the most recent and latest version of SAP.
One more update is I tried regenerating the query in RSRT/RSRT1 but it starts in debug mode. This is of more worry to me now. Any suggestions or solutions are welcome, meanwhile I will raise this to SAP.

  • System error in program CL_RSMD_RS

    Dear gurus,
I am gettng an error messg "System error in program CL_RSMD_RS and form IF_RSMD_RS~_READ_META_DATA-02---     BRAIN---     299",when i try to Clik the Details button for Workcenter in my Query Input Selection screen and doesnt allow me to view the list of workcenters..
(Note: Executing query on Infoset (Workcenter Info obj and a Zcube)..
Its really urgent and i would appreciate ur help on this....Did check the search threads but no luck..
    thanks

This could be due to a number of reasons :
    1. Ensure your query definition is correct.
    2. Ensure the master data on Work center and the underlying attributes are correct.
    3. Check in RSRT entering your query and check this.
